Aana was gawking at Rex surprisingly. Soon her shocked expression turned into a glare. She tried to get up from his lap but he didn't let her go, tightening his grip around her waist. He pulled her into a hug… Aana was trying her best to get out of grip while Alice was pouring in her mind happily and Aaron was warning Rex to not force Aana in fear of her reaction.

"You can cry," Rex whispered in Aana's ear. She stopped struggling in his arms and her body stiffened.

"You can cry as much as you want" Tears pooled up in her eyes. She gulped and shook her head, trying her best to control her emotion. Rex moved his hand and caressed her hair.

"we will not leave you Aana... No matter what you say or do. We will always love you" Rex said in a promising tone. Rex moved away from her and wiped her tears from the corner of her eyes.

"You will leave me as everyone does," Aana muttered.

"No... I will not" Rex said.

Aana was sitting on a bench remembering every moment. She started laughing at the fake promises done by him.

"I was so sure that you both will leave me. Still, your and Aaron's words made me fall in love with you" Aana mumbled to herself while laughing like a maniac. Everyone around looked at her crazily and among them, one person was looking at her with no expression.

"She remembers everything, Aaron" Rex whimpered seeing the love of her life in this condition while Aaron had no expression. Because of the hearing power of his wolf, Aaron heard everything but he was blank. He wanted to go near her and took her into his arms. No matter what Aana did with him, he couldn't stop loving and this thing was hurting him the most. He wants to hate Aana but he can't. He wants to destroy her completely and at the same time, can't bear a single tear in her eyes.

"Why do we love this girl so much? She doesn't deserve it" Aaron replied to Rex. He clearly remembered when Rex said those words to Aana in the park. Aana again took her tablets after completing her work and before going to Aaron's cabin. That day she took her high-dose tablets two times which made her numb and calm. She was not able to think properly. A smile broke on his lips when he remembered Rex's words that he won't leave her and then how Aana's denial that he will her.

"We both didn't know that she would do something like this to us, that we would only reject her and throw her out of our life," Rex said. Aaron can feel how upset his wolf is realising the present situation. He again looked towards Aana who started coughing badly because of laughing non-stop. He came out of his car and was about to go near her but stopped in mid when his eyes went on Stefan who crossed him and went to Aana and made her drink water.

"Are you okay?" Stefan asked, moving his hand on Aana's back. Aaron tightened his fist to control his temper seeing someone else touching his mate. He turned his head in another direction.

"I'm fine" Aana muttered, looking at Stefan who always cared for her like a sister.

"I can see that" Stefan scoffed and took out his handkerchief from his pocket and passed it to her. Aana didn't reply and wiped the water around her lips. She was looking at Stefan. That's when her eyes went to Aaron who was standing beside Stefan facing the other side. she doesn't need to see his face to recognise him.

"he must be so happy to see me like this" Aana thought and wiped the tear from the corner of her eyes. She stood up from the bench and looked at his brother.

"Let's go home"

"no... not before I talk to the doctor," Stefan said and again made her sit on a bench holding her arms.

"You wait for me here. I will go and come soon. Okay?" He asked. She nodded her head. Stefan smiled and went inside the hospital to talk to the doctor. she turned her head towards Aaron who is now looking at her side with no expression. They both were looking into each other's eyes with no expression on their faces.

"I will never forget you Aana... I hate you"

They both can't mind link with each other and still know what the other person is thinking but their connection is so strong that they can easily guess what is going on in the other person's mind.

Aana kept her hand on her stomach and whined in pain when the baby kicked her hard that too continuously one after another. Aaron quickly rushed towards Aana seeing her in pain.

"What happened?" He asked in concern, sitting beside her. Aana looked at him surprisingly. She didn't expect him to come towards her.

"Tell me Aana, what happened? Why did you hiss in pain?" He asked impatiently. She opened her mouth to answer him but then closed it, not able to share anything with him about the baby. First, she was feeling guilty for hiding the truth from him about the baby, and second, she was feeling scared that he would snatch her baby away from her.

"Aana" Before he could ask again. Aana held his hand and kept it on her stomach. He looked at her confusingly.

"Wait" Aana muttered and that's when the baby kicked. Aaron looked at her shockingly. Aana nodded her head with a small smile, seeing his expression. Tears welled up in his eyes feeling the kick of their baby for the first time.

"Our baby... She kicked '' Aaron muttered. Aana nodded her head with a big smile on her face. She wanted to live this moment with him for so long and finally, that moment came.

"Our baby" Aaron caressed Aana's belly and then kissed her growing bump. He was overwhelmed when Aana's situation was no different. He kissed Aana's forehead.

"Thank you so much for this precious gift, Aana..." He muttered and joined his forehead with hers. They both were smiling crazily. After a minute, he parted away from her and again kissed her stomach.

"Come soon baby, your dad is waiting for you," He said, keeping his hand on Aana's belly and it seemed like a baby listening to him. The baby kicked, bringing a big smile to their parent's faces. Aaron joined his other hand with one of her hands, looking into his eyes. They both were unaware that they were sitting close, enjoying the moment. They both are unaware that the baby for which they are fighting was bringing them closer again.
