"Because I hate her from the bottom of my heart" Monika said in a voice filled with vengeance. I could feel her emotions. She has pure hatred in her heart for my mate.

"Why?" I asked, controlling my temper. I felt Aana's hand rubbing my arms. She was trying to calm me through a mate bond.

"Because" Before she could have completed Patrick encircled his hand around her waist.

"I'm sorry on behalf of my chosen mate, Alpha. I will make her understand Aana is our Luna and she shouldn't behave like this" he said glaring at Monika. She shoved his hand away and left the auditorium.

"What is happening over here?" I asked Patrick through mindlink.

"Don't worry, Alpha. I will handle her" He said and went in the direction where Monika went after bowing his head.

"Everyone can get back to the work they were doing"

Everyone left one after another after bowing their heads. I turned my head towards my mate who was lost.

"What happened?"

"Monika hates me. At first, I thought it was because of the misunderstanding but now, I feel like I did something wrong with her because of which she abhors me"

"You're overthinking, Aana and what wrong will you do to her? You're an innocent soul." She rolled my eyes, making me chuckle at her cuteness.

"Ahh," she hissed when I bit on her cheek lightly and smacked my arm.

"What are you doing?"

"I was tasting my cupcake" I kissed her cheek. "It's tasty"

"You" We both started laughing. I picked her up in my arms and took her to our room, making her lay on the bed before lying beside her. We both stare into each other's eyes before our lips touch each other.

"I love you"

"I love you more than you love me" I replied to her confession. She chuckled and rested her head on my chest. Soon, darkness consumed me.

The next day, everyone was busy preparing for the Luna ceremony. The environment was no less than a festival. I was looking at everything when my eyes went on Aana who was sitting on a swing while Marry was doing a massage on her feet as she was having difficulty in walking since yesterday because of swelling. I smiled seeing how easily she won everyone's heart in a few days. I was staring at her when someone coughed beside me, bringing me into the world. I looked at my side and found Patrick giving me a teasing smile.

"What?" I rolled my eyes.

"You're crazy in her love" I smiled at his words and again turned my head towards her.

"Look at her... who will not fall in love with her. She is mesmerising."

"You love her a lot" I look back at him and nod my head.

"Indeed I do. She is making me crazy. I can't even imagine a second without her. Sometimes I wonder if she is a witch who did some magic on me" He laughed at my choice of words.

"You're calling me a witch?" I closed my eyes when I heard my mate's voice from behind, realising what I uttered and above that she heard it. I turned towards her and passed her an awkward smile. She was glaring at me.

"I didn't call you a witch in that sense"

"Then in what sense you called me witch, my loving mate" she asked, raising her eyebrow and encircling her hands around her chest. My eyes went to her delicious breast. She straightened her hand and made me look into her eyes by holding my chin.

"Look into my eyes when I'm talking pervert" I nod my head like an innocent face.

"Why do you call me a witch?" she again asked.

"I was just telling him that you're driving me crazy. I mean you made it impossible for me to live a second without you. You're indeed a witch who won my heart and did some magic because of which with every passing second my love for you is increasing"

A beautiful smile appeared on her face when I confessed what was in my heart. She encircles her hand around my neck and tiptoes to kiss my lips, bringing a smile to my face. She didn't say a word but expressed her immense love through the kiss. We both broke the kiss when we heard the voice of breaking glass. We turned our heads and found Monika looking at us with teary eyes.

"Moon Goddess" Aana went towards her, seeing her hand bleeding.

"How did this happen? You hurt yourself" She mumbled and was about to hold her hand when Monika growled at her.

"Dare you to touch me" Rex wanted to growl at her back for misbehaving with our mate but I controlled him.

"Where are your manners, Monika?" I asked, gritting my teeth, trying my best not to lose my temper and control over Rex.

"You're asking me where my manners are but what about you Alpha? you're romancing her in front of me." She took a few steps towards me. "What, you want to show that after ditching me, you're living happily with your mate?" I scrunched my eyebrow at her words in confusion while Aana looked at her shockingly and then at me.

"Ditching you?" My mate asked her shockingly.

"Yes, he ditched me because of you." She yelled and came closer to me.

"Why? Why did you do this to me? my whole life I saw you as my mate and loved you with everything and what you did? you abandoned me without thinking about me for your fated mate.." she asked me with teary eyes…

"I'm not getting what you're talking about, Monika,'' I said, looking at her shockingly because of her sudden confession.

"Don't act innocent as if you don't know about my feelings for you" She snarled and pushed me away.

"Behave" Aana yelled and came between me and Monika. "Just because he was not saying anything to you. It doesn't mean you can behave rudely with him. He is a gentleman and won't say a word to you for behaving rudely with him but I'm not. You can't even imagine what I will do to you if you misbehave with my mate again" Aana went dangerously close to her. "I won't even think twice before cutting your tongue and ripping your hands from which you touch him" Monika moves back in fear because of Aana's threat. A smile formed on my lips seeing my women taking stands for me. She is ready to kill anyone if needed for me.

"We are lucky to have her as our mate. She can love the people who love us and win their hate but at the same time, she can kill the one who hates us or tries to harm us. She is a heroine but can become a villain if needed, only for us" Rex said, feeling proud of our mate. I smiled and nodded my head, completely agreeing with him.

"Don't forget he is your Alpha" I came out of my thoughts with Aana's voice and looked at Monika who was looking at me like I hurt her with my actions while I was looking at her in dilemma, not able to understand what I did because of which she is angry at me and hate my mate.
