I was taking details of pack members and pack borders from Patrick when Aana came and hugged me from behind, bringing a smile to my face.

"Marry told me that you asked Patrick to prepare for the Luna ceremony" she chirped like a little girl. I chuckled and removed her hand from my waist to turn towards her.

"I did" I removed the strand of her hair from her face and locked it behind her ear.

"It means you're ready to become an Alpha of this Pack and werewolf king?" she asked with a big smile and hope in her eyes. I nod my head.

"Ahhh.. Love you mate" She yelled, almost making me deaf before jumping on me like a monkey, scaring the shit out of me.

"Pearl" I growled, carefully holding her in my arms. I tightened my grip around her face, scared of the thought of what would happen if I didn't hold her on time. I could even hear my heartbeat.

"Have you forgotten you're carrying two lives inside your womb?" She looked at me with a big smile and then took out her tongue realising her mistake.

"I'm sorry. I was ecstatic after knowing you finally made the right decision. I will be careful now" she mumbled and pouted like a cute baby girl. my anger vanished after seeing her adorable cuteness but I didn't show up and kept maintaining a poker expression. Patrick left to give us our moment.

"Sorry...Now please don't spoil my mood by turning on your grumpy mode" I raised my left eyebrow upon hearing her. She closed her eyes and hit her head.

"I'm stupid" She opened her eyes and gave me an awkward smile. "Forgot what I just said."

"No... that's not gonna happen until I punish you" I saw her eyes twinkle with my words which showed a clear approval from her. I leaned towards her lips to take her soft brim into my lips. That's when I sensed someone's presence around me. It's not that I care but that person is not coming in front of us is suspicious. I looked at my mate who was waiting for me after closing her eyes.

"Someone is here" I mindlink her. She opens her eyes and looks at me. I made her stand on the ground carefully.

"Alpha.'' I turned my head and found Monika standing at the door. I took a relief breath realising it was her but why was she hiding? Before I could have asked her the same question, I saw Marry coming from behind.

"I'm sorry, Alpha for interrupting your moment but Marry sent a message for you?"

"Don't" I mindlink Marry when she was about to interrupt the conversation.

"What message?" I asked Monika.

"She asked you to both stay away till Aana's delivery since physical intimacy is not good for Pup's health at the end of the month"

"Me?" Marry asked shockingly. Monika was startled when she heard Marry's voice. She turned her head and found Marry standing a little away from her. Monika might have not realised Marry presence as she was in a dilemma about whether to lie to me.

Yes, she is lying and how do I know that? First I can sense emotions and her increased heartbeat was enough to tell me she is making up and second Marry's reaction clearly indicates that she didn't say anything to Monika.

"By Marry's indication it is clear that she didn't send any message and now answer me Monika why you lied?" I asked patiently, trying my best not to yell at her for messing up with me regarding my mate. From the moment I came here, she has been giving me a negative vibe. I was about to yell at her when she didn't answer. That's when I felt a smooth hand rubbing my arms. I turned and looked at my mate who nodded her head negatively, asking me not to yell at her.

"She said that for our pups' safety only, Aaron. Moreover, she is not completely wrong. We should be careful until our pups come into this world." She said and looked at Monika. "Thank you"

Monika looked at her dumbstruck, not expecting that my mate would take her side. Monika nodded her head and left. I look at my mate who is always being nice to people even if it's her enemy.

"Why did you save her?" I asked annoyingly.

"It's okay, Aaron. Many pack members hate me because they think I ditched you. They have a misunderstanding. That's why they behave like this as they love you a lot, My mate" She kissed my cheek. "And I love the way they love you," she said, bringing a smile to my face but her words didn't go unnoticed by me.

"Everyone meet me at the auditorium" I mindlink everyone and pick Aana up in my arms.

"Son.. careful" Marry exclaimed.

"I will," I replied to her with a smile, loving the way she takes care of my mate like her own daughter.

"Where are we going?" Aana asked.

"In auditorium"

"Why?"

"You will get to know" I wink at her. She blushes and nods her head. By the time I got there, everyone was already gathered. I smiled and carefully made Aana stand on the ground then took her to the centre where my dad used to stand.

"I think everyone gets to know till now that I'm ready to fulfil my responsibility and serve you all as an Alpha and werewolves king" I announced to which everyone howled in happiness, bringing smiles to my and my mate's face.

"Aana made me realise how wrong I'm doing by running away from my responsibility. She made me realise how I am lucky to have you all and how much you all love me. Also, what's my responsibility for this pack

"You're my family, that's why I'm clearing a misunderstanding about my mate, otherwise I don't care what other people think," I said and looked at my woman who was staring at me. "My mate didn't cheat on me. it's me who is an asshole to think wrong about her" She nodded her head negatively and then gasped when I knelt in front of her.

"You love me with everything and I lost you because of my stupidity" Tears rolled from her eyes at my words. "I used an absurd word for you and questioned your character. I'm sorry." Tears of regret filled my eyes. "I'm sorry, Pearl. I know it's not easy to forgive me but I promise to love you till my last breath." She smiled and kept her hand on her stomach before sitting beside me.

"Pearl.. You don't need" Before I could complete she kept her finger on my lips and held my one hand in her other hand.

"It's not your mistake Aaron. it's destiny that wants us to get separated only to become one forever." She touched my forehead with her. "The important thing is you realise where you were wrong and I realise my mistake. We both rectified it and now we are together. let's forget everything and stay together till our last breath" she said with teary eyes and a beautiful smile which brought a smile to my face.

I nodded my head and kissed her forehead before kissing her beautiful smile. We parted away when we heard the howl of happiness of pack members. Aana blushed realising we kissed in front of each other while I laughed seeing her cute face. I stood up with her, knowing she couldn't sit on the ground much longer because of her pregnancy. I turned my head towards pack members who were smiling and looking at us. My eyes went to Monika who was glaring at Aana.

"What happened Monika?" she was startled when I called her suddenly. Everyone turned their gaze towards her.

"I think I cleared all the misunderstanding regarding my mate which you all might have then why you're glaring at my mate with hatred" I asked directly.

"Because I hate her from the bottom of my heart," She said in a voice filled with vengeance. I could feel her emotions. She has pure hatred in her heart for my mate.
