I looked at Aaron with teary eyes... he was continuously crying after realising his mistake. Tears streamed down from my eyes after seeing him broken like this. He was crying in guilt, blaming himself for the mistake we both made.

"There is no forgiveness for my mistake" He looked at me with tears-filled eyes which turned red because of crying.

"you're not wrong… I don't deserve your love and forgiveness" he muttered and turned his head towards Patrick.

"I asked you to bring something" I followed his gaze and looked at Patrick in confusion.

"I prepared only two wolfsbane which can show effect on you and you used both of them" My eyes widened upon hearing Patrick's reply.

"Wolfsbane?" I asked him shockingly. He nodded his head.

"He asked me to bring that special wolfsbane which I prepared, wanted to punish himself by consuming it." I gasped and kept a hand on my mouth shockingly. I knew from the beginning that when Aaron found out the truth that I didn't cheat on him, he would break down. But I didn't think he would hurt himself like this. Thanks to Patrick who called me on time otherwise I can't imagine what Aaron would have done. Patrick told me how it took Aaron almost a month to recover when the last time he took that stupid wolfsbane. I turned my head towards my mate.

"You want to take Wolfsbane?" I asked, giving him a chance to change his mind but he shook his head in positive.

"I deserve punishment for hurting" Before he could complete, I slapped him hard on his left cheek which surely would leave a mark if Rex didn't heal him. He gawked at me shockingly, not expecting to get a slap from me.

"Who gives you the right to hurt yourself?" I yelled at high pitch, losing the last control over my temper after hearing about the stupidity he was about to do.

"guilt" he mumbled and took a deep breath to control his broken voice.

"Guilt?"

"Yes... The guilt of hurting you is consuming me. I want to hurt myself as much as I can as a punishment for the tears which you shed because of me" Tears rolled from his eyes while saying those words.

"Punishment" I held his collar and pulled his face closer to me.

"How could you do this to me?" I yelled and slapped his right cheek this time.

"Who gave you the right to punish my mate?" I growled. He closed his eyes.

"I deserved punishment for hurting you that's why I decided to take wolfsbane"

"You're right... You deserve punishment but It's not you who will decide what punishment you will get." he opened his eyes and looked at me confusingly.

"You did wrong with me then only I have a right to punish you and decide how to make you suffer" I growled at his face. He nodded his head, agreeing with my words.

"You're right. It should be your decision what punishment should I get" he wiped his tears and took a deep breath.

"I'm ready for your every punishment." He muttered and bowed his eyes.

"Are you sure because I won't give you easy punishments?" I said with an evil grin. He nodded his head.

"I'm ready to bear it" he muttered looking at the ground, not meeting my eyes because of guilt.

"Great... Your punishment is to adore me till your last breath" I said with a mild smile. He gawked at me upon hearing my words. I look at him with an evil smirk.

"Would you be able to bear it?"

"I will," he nodded his head with a smile on his lips. "I will adore you till my last breath." A big beautiful smile appeared on my lips with his words. I joined my forehead with his.

"I will happily fulfil my punishment and that's a promise." He muttered. His tears and smile are proof that he is going to fulfil his promise this time. I nodded my head and kissed his forehead lovingly.

I chuckled when my tears fell on his face. I lovingly cupped his face while looking into his eyes and kissed at the corner of his lips.

"Would I have to pass a special order for you Patrick?" Aaron said while pulling me into his lap, holding my waist.

"Special order?" Patrick asked in confusion.

"Leave idiot" he growled in a low tone. Patrick immediately ran out of that place. I chuckled at his speed and then turned my head towards my mate.

"I want one more promise" I mumbled while playing with his shirt button.

"Say"

"Promise me that you will never hurt yourself like you did today"

"Pearl"

"Promise me otherwise I will do the same thing you did just now" A low growl escaped from his lips which was enough to shiver my soul.

"Don't scare me like this" I muttered in a complaining tone.

"Then don't utter rubbish"

"Promise me" I raised my hand towards him. He held my hand and nodded his head.

"I promise, I will not hurt myself and also I will take care of you and our pups." I smiled and kept my head on my chest.

"I can't reverse what I did in the past, Pearl but I promise to give you a thousand times happiness in return for the tears you shed because of me." I look at him, raising my head.

"It was not only your fault, Aaron but mine also. I lied to you to keep my pregnancy secret and also because I was dealing with my past at that time. It was all for your benefit but I lied." I tightened my grip on his hand. "I promise not to repeat the same mistake. I will share every problem with you without caring about the consequences. I will not lie to you, no matter what the situation is" He kissed my forehead in response.

"I love you"

"Me too," I replied. We both lean towards each other's lips for a deep passionate kiss to seal the promises we made with each other. I don't know what the future holds for both of us, whether I would be able to survive after giving birth to my pups or not but I know one thing: I want to love him till my last breath, forgetting every difference between us.

"I want to rectify my biggest mistake," he said, after breaking the kiss to give me time to fill my lungs.

"Mistake?"

"Remember we were about to mark each other on my birthday" Tears rolled from my eyes remembering how I missed the day which could have been the best day of my entire life.

"How can I forget it? I missed the beautiful opportunity" I sobbed. He wiped my tears lovingly.

"I don't know the reason why you didn't arrive nor do I care anymore. All I want is to do the thing which we missed on my birthday" I scrunched my eyebrow in confusion.

"I didn't get it"

"I want to mark you as mine" My eyes widened with his words. I never thought that I would be blessed to be marked by him after missing this beautiful opportunity before.

"Mark me?" I asked, pointing towards me, to confirm. He nodded his head.

"I don't want to delay it anymore but"

"But?"

"Rex" My smile vanished when he took Rex's name. The memory of him choking me to death flashed in my mind. He hates me for losing Alice. Tears welled up in my eyes realising that getting marked by him would remain my dream.

"He will not let you mark me" I muttered, bowing my eyes.

"You're wrong pearl" I looked at him, only to find his eyes colour changed to golden, indicating to me that his wolf was on the surface.

"Rex"

"I want to mark you as much as Aaron wants but before that, I want to apologise to you" he took my hand in his hand before kissing my knuckles.

"I'm sorry," he muttered in a broken voice. "I'm sorry for behaving like an asshole to you" I nod my head negatively.

"You did all that in pain of losing Alice. it's not that I was okay with your behaviour but I can understand the reason behind it. Even I hate myself for hiding the truth of my past from you because of which we lose Alice today." I mumbled and wiped the tear from the corner of his eye.

"I'm sorry for rejecting you"

"If you're genuinely sorry then rectify your mistake and mark me" A beautiful smile appeared on his handsome face. He nodded his head and leaned towards my neck before opening his mouth like a big wolf.

"Aah," I moaned in pain and pleasure when he punctured my skin with his canine and then leaked that area to heal the wound. I closed my eyes and clutched his hair with my left hand in the pleasure he was giving me with his tongue but then suddenly I felt an immense energy in my body.

"Rex" I felt like someone took control of my body for a few milliseconds. Before I could understand anything I was back in control but my vision became blurry. I left my whole weight on him while he held me tightly.

"Alice" I heard him calling my wolf before everything started blacking out in front of my eyes, and then I felt my entire energy drain out before darkness consumed me. It seems like angels of death came to take me with them and it's time to say goodbye to this world.
