"Arghh'' Aana yelped and wiped her left cheek which Shrine just licked. I sat on the ground holding my stomach, laughing loudly. It took her a few months to get used to Rex licking her face but Shrine licked her face in the first meeting only.

"Is this lioness tasting me before eating?" she asked in fear.

"what? no… She is loving you as Rex does" I chuckled at her innocence. She looked at Shrine and wiped her cheeks.

"Ahh… I hate this sticky thing" She yelped and wiped her cheeks with her scarf. I started laughing seeing her reaction.

"What?" She snarled.

"Your expression... oh god... It's worth watching." I laughed to which she glared at me and then turned her head towards Shrine who leaned down and looked at her baby bump. Aana looked at my side in fear. I nod my head, assuring her nothing will happen.

"Shrine... She is carrying my pups" I muttered. She turned her head towards me and then moved her neck around Aana's stomach softly, bringing a smile to my face. She suddenly sat on the ground and looked at my side, rolling her body and laying down on the ground on her back.

"What happened, Shrine?" I asked, not getting what she meant. Aana sat on the ground.

"Be careful, Pearl '' I mumbled when she sat on the ground with the support of a tree. I notice that for the past few days, she has been facing difficulty in getting up and sitting because of her big baby bump and also swelling in her both legs has become another problem for her.

"I'm fine" She replied and caressed Shrine's fur then touched her stomach.

"She is pregnant" She muttered with a big smile on her face.

"Pregnant?" I sat near Shrine and rubbed her fur.

"When did you become so big?" I chuckled and kissed her forehead. My eyes went to Aana who was staring at me.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Wondering what would have been your reaction if I shared the news on time" She mumbled.

"What news?"

"I want to share my pregnancy news with you on your birthday as a present." She muttered and kept her hand on her stomach. "When I returned home, the first thing I wanted to tell you is that I'm pregnant with your pups." My smile vanished upon hearing her. She reminded me of a horrible day in my life but what shocked me is that she knows about pregnancy and chooses to hide it from me.

"She slept with someone else while carrying our pups," Rex muttered, making my eyes widen. I looked at Aana's side dumbstruck while she was waiting for my reaction.

"It means you know that you were pregnant with my child, but you still cheated on me," I asked the same thing that Rex just figured out.

"Aaron"

"Answer me" I growled, making her flinch. I clutched my hair frustratingly, trying my best to control my anger, not wanting to do something in anger that I would regret later.

"Aaron" I turned my head and looked at Aana who stood up from the ground and moved away from me and then suddenly she started coughing. I was about to go near her when Shrine came between us and growled at me.

"Shrine" I kneel when I notice that she is sweating. "What happened? Why are you sweating?" I asked, moving my hand lovingly on the fur.

"Are you okay?" I asked anxiously as she was sweating. "Is she going to deliver her pup?" I asked and looked at Aana who was looking at me with teary eyes while holding the tree.

"She got scared because you released your aura," She said, making me realise my mistake. I was realising my aura in anger. I look back at the Shrine, she was calm now and lay down on the ground.

"She is looking exhausted." I moved my hand on her fur. "I accidentally hurt her… I'm sorry" I whimpered and kissed her forehead. My anger is my strength as a werewolf king but at the same time, I end up hurting my people accidentally. That's why I hate my power. It became my weakness instead of my strength. I carefully observed the Shrine.

"She is fine." I smiled and looked at Aana who was looking at me. She kept one hand on her forehead and with another she held the tree.

"My head is spinning" My eyes grew wider upon hearing him. I immediately stood up and ran towards her to hold her before her butt would have touched the ground. I carefully made her sit on the ground.

"Fuck... my aura must have hurt you as well" I whimper and kept my hand on bump. "please forgive your father for getting angry at your mother... I'm sorry" I whispered and looked at Aana who was staring at me.

"You lied to me" I scrunched my eyebrow.

"Lied?"

"Yes... You lied to me that you're regretting doubting me. you still think I cheated on you." Tears rolled down from her eyes.

"What do you mean by I think? Didn't you accept that all those pictures are real?" I scoffed. She clutched my shirt in her fist.

"Yes I said that because those pictures were real but"

"Didn't you accept that you came back after spending two nights with another man?" I growled, interrupting her. She passed me a smile and wiped her tears.

"When you have already thought that I have cheated you, then there is no point in saying anything." She parted away from me and sat with the support of a tree.

"Can't you just tell me what happened that day instead of running away from the conversation like a coward" I snarled. She looked at me and then bowed her head while looking at her palm.

"Great.. now you're silent." I sneer. She looked at me with teary eyes.

"Well, you're not wrong as anyone in your place would be just as embarrassed as you're in confessing your deeds." She sighed and then caressed her baby bump.

"Could you please do me a favour?" She asked. I squeezed my eyebrow.

"Please leave me alone for some time. Please" I look at her stunningly, not expecting that she would say something like this in answer to my question.

"Fine." I stood up from the ground. "Before when I left you alone as you asked, you cheated on my back. I hope this time you won't do the same" I snarled and went away from there without looking at her or waiting for her response because I know if I stayed even a moment longer there then I would end up breaking down in tears in front of her which is the last thing I wanted to do.

"I hate you, Aana... I hate you for cheating on us" I thought and morphed into a wolf for a long run to calm my anger.
