Chapter 129: Chapter 129

No One POV's

.

a few days went into a thin year. Alice was on the surface, spending time with Aaron but after a while, when his anger subsided he started missing Aana. He was anxious for Aana and the feeling that she is not okay was getting stronger day by day.

"Can you give control to Aana" Alice looks at him with a sudden question, not expecting him to ask it, especially just after they make out in the office.

"Why?"

"I want to talk to her. I want to know how she is?" She stood up from his lap and started wearing her clothes.

"what will you do by knowing how she is? She doesn't want us then why should we care" Aaron frowned at her reply.

"I'm repeating the word Rex told you before. We love you and Aana equally. She is important to me as you are and no matter how many times she hurts me, I will still love her" She rolled her eyes at his reply.

"She is sleeping"

"At this time?" He scrunched his eyebrow looking at the time in his watch which also reminded him of Aana as she gifted him that watch with her first salary.

"Do you think I would lie to you?" She growled.

"I didn't say that"

"But you mean that only"

"No... I don't. leave all this... I have an important meeting to attend. If Aana woke up then give her control. Rex wants to talk to her," he said, half lying to her. Yes, Rex indeed wants to talk to her but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to do the same. Aaron wants to see her, talk to her and most importantly he wants to make sure that she is safe.

"If that is so then ask Rex to talk to me" She scoffed and turned her heels to go outside but stopped when Aaron held her hand.

"What now?"

"Are you mad at me for asking to give control to Aana?"

"Yes, I'm because I don't want her to be around you anymore. What if she hurts you and Rex again" She said her last words in a cracked voice. Aaron sighed realising that she is concerned about him.

"That's not how things work, Alice. I love her and she is my goal to live this life. She is my everything."

"But" Before she would have argued, he put his finger over her lips.

"What if I always stay on the surface and never give control to Rex?"

"Rex doesn't hurt her and me" Alice muttered after removing his finger.

"Really? Did you forget how he accidentally used his aura while yelling at Aana and hurt her unintentionally" Alice opened her mouth to say something in her defence and then closed it, not finding anything to say.

"Is it necessary to make me a villain to make her understand things?" Rex growled at his human. Aaron shook his head.

"I'm tired of handling two stupid wolves"

"Excuse me" Rex and Alice yelled together.

"Stop yelling...You both will make me deaf" Aaron frowned and sat on his chair.

"I just want to know, Is Aana okay because with every passing second, I'm getting weird feelings," Aaron said truthfully, hoping that she will understand.

"Obviously she is okay... What will happen to her? She is sitting happily inside. moreover believe my powers, nothing will happen to her"

"You were with her before also Alice but you know that she was not okay. You can heal her physically not mentally"

"I gave up... She is awake now, talk to her" she mumbled and gave control to Aana. Aaron stood up from the chair, not prepared to face her.

Aana looks around and then at Aaron. She could not believe that Alice finally gave her control. Tears fell from her eyes when they met with Aaron's eyes which were busy staring at her.

"Aaron" She took a step towards him to hold him but Aaron moved back. She looked at him dumb-headed as she was not expecting him to react like this. She bowed her eyes recalling the moment when he yelled at her for lying.

"I deserve this... I deserve your ignorance. I deserve this for hurting you" She raises her head and looks at him with teary eyes. "But please don't push me away. I will" She clamped up when his eyes colour changed, indicating to her that Rex is on her surface.

"Now he doesn't even want to see me."

"It's nothing like that, Pearl" Rex tried to calm her, hating to see tears in her eyes.

"Then what it is. He gives you control so that he doesn't have to face me" She cried and held the chair beside her tightly. She turned her body in another direction, not wanting to show him her condition which was aggravating with every second.

"Stop panicking... Can't you let them have a single peaceful moment when you're on the surface" Aana closed her eyes when Alice growled at her. She took a deep breath to calm herself, trying her best not to panic.

"Pearl" Rex turned her towards him and wiped her tears. "Please don't cry... You know we hate to see tears in your eyes"

"I will not" She wiped off her tears and clutched his shirt. "I will not cry... I will not panic nor I will lie but please don't hate me. Do---Don't push me away from you" she stuttered. He looks into her eyes which are filled with fear of losing him. Her whole face turned red and she was shivering.

"What is happening to her?" Rex thought and held her hand in his.

"Why would we leave you, Pearl? I and Aaron both love you. Don't you trust us?" He asked. she looked into his eyes and then another tear rolled from her eyes.

"I always hurt you. I'm sorry but believe me, Rex... I--I" Before she would have completed, someone knocked on the door.

"Sir, Miss Ivanna Scott is here for the meeting"

"It's an important meeting, Aaron has to attend it" He muttered and gave control to Aaron.

"You never prioritise anything over me. You always postpone your work for me"

"Stop overreacting," Aaron said in a stern tone and released his collar from her grip. She looked at him with devastated eyes. It was a normal thing for Aaron but for Aana, his every action and words are huge because of the mental trauma she was going through.

"Now, I'm overreacting?" She muttered and moved away from him.

"I was right... I started losing you. I knew that you would also leave me, like Vince."

"If you don't trust me and Rex then no matter how much we say, you won't believe us" Aaron replied in a defeated tone and went outside of his cabin. He was not mad at her but hurt because of one lie. He wanted to calm himself before talking to her because he knows his few words of anger could worsen the situation. He was lost in his thoughts when he bumped into a girl. She almost loses her balance but Aaron holds her hand and with another hand, he holds her waist, saving her butt from touching the ground. Aana turned and looked in the direction in which Aaron went, only to find a girl in his arms and that girl was no one but Ivanna who was a signal of the upcoming tornado in their relationship.
