Kathie was looking at me with a worried expression. Maybe she is in a dilemma about whether to tell me or not and worried about how I would handle the news she was going to give me.

"Luna is pregnant with twins despite one of those pups being a Lycan," Kathie said the thing which I already know.

"Don't beat about the bush, Kathie" I frowned.

"Your power is divided between two pups, Alpha. Baby boy is blessed with your Lycan power and baby girl is blessed with your healer power" she muttered bringing a smile to my face.

"She will be a healer like my mom"

"If she would be able to survive '' My smile vanished upon hearing her. I look at her dumb-headed.

"What do you mean if she would be able to survive?" I growled.

"She is weak… In recent days whenever Aana's health gets worse because of panic attacks, she uses her power to heal her mother as a result her own health gets wrecked. It's hard for her to survive till delivery"

I felt like the ground slipped under my foot. I was about to fall when she held my arms and made me sit on the bench. Tears fell from my eyes.

"You just give us the news of her presence and in another moment you're telling me it's hard for her to survive" I stuttered while saying the last words. The thought of losing my pup was enough to shatter the world around me.

"Please Alpha, get hold of yourself. If you will react like this then who would handle Luna" Her words bring me back to the world. She is right, if I'm reacting like this then I don't know how Aana would react to this news. I wiped my tears and looked up at her.

"you're not going to give this news to Aana."

"But Alpha"

"I said no and it was my order," I said, interrupting her and releasing my Alpha aura so that she would not go against my decision. She nodded her head and bowed her eyes.

"I don't know how she would handle this news. She will break down" I muttered to myself. Fear of her reaction scared my soul because I know how much she loved our child. I was thinking about her only when I sensed her presence near me. I turned my head and found her standing at the door.

"Aana" I quickly wiped my tears when she approached me.

"This news overwhelmed me" I chuckled. She didn't say anything and passed me a smile.

"I came here when I remember you wanted to talk about my health with Aaron. I wanted to know what it is?" She asked, looking at my side. I opened my mouth to say something when she showed me her hand, asking me not to utter a word. Maybe she knows I would lie only.

"Answer me, Kathie" She muttered, turning her head towards Kathie. I followed her gaze and found Kathie looking at me nervously.

"Nothing special, Luna"

"I want to know what you said to him even if it's nothing special"

"Aana, She told you... It's not so important" I tried to argue but shut my mouth when she looked at me suspiciously.

"I was talking about medicines and precautions that you have to take and also how he should take care of you as a father." I took a relieved breath when Kathie came up with a good excuse. I look at Aana who is looking convinced by her words. Thankfully Alice was not with her otherwise she would have smelled our lies.

"ohh okay" Aana took a deep breath and then looked at my side.

"I'm sure... he is going to fulfil his father's duty like an expert and protect our pups with everything." Her words were like an arrow that directly pierced into my heart. I forcefully smiled and nodded my head.

"Aana" We heard the voice of Aunt Jennifer who came there with a box of sweets.

"Congratulations Son" Aunt Jennifer sweetened my mouth.

"Thank you" I whisper and look at Aana's side when she holds my hand and passes me a smile.

"I'm over the moon after knowing that Aana is going to give birth to twins. I already started making plans to celebrate this news." Aunt Jennifer chuckled, bringing a smile to our faces.

"Yeah... We are going to celebrate this news in a very special manner." Aana muttered and looked at my side.

"It's your responsibility, Aaron, to make sure that everything goes perfectly. You're perfect at decoration. I want you to decorate everything like you did when you proposed to me"

"As you say," I mumbled and kissed her forehead.

"I can do anything for you... Anything" I whispered.

"I know that's why I trust you so much and now you have to add two members to your list. Our pups... When they will come you have to take care of them as well. If something happened to me" Before she could complete I kept my hand on her lips.

"Don't utter rubbish," I growled. She chuckled and nodded her head then kissed my fingers. I remove my hand from her lips and kiss her forehead.

"I can't live without you"

"Me neither" she replied and parted away from me.

"Let's not make this special moment sad and enjoy it," She said and held my hand to take me out in the park where everyone in the NGO was waiting to congratulate us.

I went to the side as everyone started showering their love Aana after congratulating us. My eyes went to Kathie who was looking anxious about something. I went towards her and stood by her side. She looked at me agitated and then bowed her eyes.

"What happened? You're looking worried about something" I asked.

"I think Aana heard our conversation" My eyes widened upon hearing her. I looked at her shockingly to which she nodded her head. I turned my head and looked at Aana's side who was talking and smiling with everyone.

"No. I don't think so. If she had listened to us, she wouldn't have taken it so calmly" I replied to her and looked at her again only to find her tear-filled eyes on me.

"Aana"

"I'm not sure whether my assumption is right or wrong. It's my wolf who said she sensed her presence before but before she could have informed you, you used your Alpha aura to shut our mouth," she whispered. I nod my head while looking at my girl who is looking normal from the outside but doesn't know why I'm feeling like something is not good.. Like she is not okay.

"Moon goddess please keep her well. Please. I can't afford to lose her, not after finding her with so much struggle."
