"How is this possible?" I asked, still not able to believe what I read in Aana's report. I was gawking at Kathie in disbelief.

"Would you tell me, Aaron, what is written in the report?" Aana growled. I look at her and then bend towards her to kiss her forehead.

"We are pregnant" Before I could complete she hit on my arm.

"I know that stupid" she screeched. I chuckled, not able to believe my girl is going to give birth to a twin who behaves like a child.

"You're pregnant with a twin, Aana" Aana looked at her side in disbelief and then at me. a tear of happiness fell from her eyes when I nodded my head.

"Twins" She whispered and kept her hand on her stomach and that's when her reaction changed. She tightly held my hand.

"I felt two kicks'' She looked at me dumbstruck.

"You also didn't know about having twins?" I asked, surprisingly.

"How would I know? This is the first time they kick together." She replied with a smile and held my hand to keep it on her stomach and that's when I also felt two kicks.

"Aah," She yelped but at the same time chuckled. I look at the mother in front of me amusingly. I know this pregnancy period is not easy for her. It's painful but she was bearing every pain smiling for her child.

"I love you"

"Me too," she replied. I wiped her tears and attached my lips to hers, pouring all my love on her through the kiss. She closed her eyes and responded with the same intensity, proving to me that she loves me equally. I broke the kiss when she went out of breath.

"Thank you so much for these beautiful gifts. I'm over the moon" She laughed with me. We were having our moment. That's when my eyes went on Kathie who had tears in her eyes.

"Kathie" I stood up and went to her.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have shouted at you especially when you came here to tell me about the biggest happiness of my life. I'm '' Before I could complete she hugged me. My eyes widened at her sudden reaction and that's when I felt immense anger. I look at Aana, knowing it's not my anger but my mate who is burning like a fireball. If a look could kill then Kathie would have burned till now.

"I'm happy for you brother" All her anger vanished upon hearing Kathie's words. She hit her forehead slightly at her stupid jealousy while I chuckled seeing her.

Kathie broke the hug and went towards Aana to hug her. I smiled seeing how she is happy for me and Aana. Her one action made me realise my mistake: While running away from memories, I left my close one behind.

"I'm so happy for both of you"

"But if I had a twin then why didn't we notice in previous sonography reports," Aana asked her. My smile vanished upon hearing her question.

"Because your baby boy hides his sister behind his body," Kathie chuckled.

"I had a boy and a girl?"

"We" I said, interrupting her. She looked at me and then nodded her head with a smiling face. We both are overwhelmed by this tremendous news. My smile vanished when I realised something.

"Kathie," I looked at her.

"How can it be possible? I mean a Lycan never shares his things. Not even his mother's womb" I state the fact.

"Are you sure that Aana is pregnant with twins?" I asked to confirm.

"Sometimes a miracle happens brother. I was also not able to believe that Aana is going to give birth to a twin that's why I do the test again and again until I become one hundred percent sure." She said, bringing a smile to my face. I nod my head and look at my girl who was crying and smiling at the same time after feeling the kicks of both of our pups.

"Give this news to everyone" I muttered to Kathie. She looked at me surprisingly while I turned my face in another direction, not able to look into her eyes which were filled with hope that I will return to pack, which is the last thing I wanted to do.

"Congratulations Alpha" I heard Patrick, my Beta voice in my mind. Kathie must have informed him right now.

"Thank you" I replied and blocked the mindlink before everyone in the pack started congratulating me. Don't know why I'm not able to accept my parents then and go there even after 6 years of my parent's death. It's still hard for me.

"Aaron" I came out of my thoughts and looked at Aana who was looking at me with concern.

"What happened?" She asked, maybe she sensed my mixed emotions about pack members. I nodded my head negatively and went towards her.

"Nothing... Just thinking about random stupid things" I kissed her forehead.

"Your all focus should be on me and our pups, not on others." She frowned.

"You're right. My whole focus should be on you" I muttered and kissed her knuckles. She smiled and kissed my forehead.

"I'm so happy, Aaron"

"Me too" I replied and caressed her cheek with my other hand. I look at Kathie's side who seems to be a little worried.

"What happened, Kathie?" I asked.

"Alpha, I want to talk to you about Luna's health," She answered.

"About my health?" Aana asked and stood up from the bench.

"Is it related to our pups?" She asked anxiously. I could feel how scared she was for our pups' health. Kathie holds her hand.

"Relax... Did you forget you have to stay stress-free?" Kathie asked.

"But"

"No, but... If you keep yourself away from stress then your pups will also stay healthy" Aana nods her head understanding Kathie's points but the mother in her didn't let her stay calm.

"Aana relax," I said and moved my hand over her arms to calm her. She looked at my side and then passed me a smile.

"Shouldn't we give this news to everyone in the pack" I suggested to enlighten her mood and thankfully it worked.

"You're right... everyone would be so happy after knowing about our twins baby" she chuckled bringing a smile to my face. I can see her smiling face for the rest of my life.

"First let me inform Aunt and Brother Stefan. They would be so happy," she said excitedly and went towards her room.

"Aana careful"

"Don't worry... I will" she responded without looking back. I laughed seeing her so excited to give this news to everyone. My eyes went to Kathie who was looking at everything with a mild smile.

"Now say what you wanted to discuss about Aana's health." Her smile vanished upon hearing my words and looked at my side with a worried expression which was enough for me to know that whatever she is going to say is anything but not good news.
