Chapter 100: Chapter 100
No One Pov's
.
Aana parked the car at the side and went inside the forest. It took her a long time to reach the destination without Alice. Tears fell from her eyes when she saw Vince's body from a little distance.
"Vince" She took a step to go near his body when Ryan held her hand and took her away from that place.
"Leave me, Ryan. I want to see Vince" Aana yelled, trying her best to get out of his grip but he didn't let her go.
"Alexander's people must be here only. I told you not to come here" He growled. Aana bite on his hand and pushed him using all her physical strength. Ryan was not prepared for it as a result, he left her hand. Taking it as her chance, Aana ran towards Vince's body but she was late.
Vince's parents burned his body. She fell to the ground, not able to hold herself and yelled in pain of losing Vince. Pain of not being able to see his first love for the last time.
"Vince" She called his name despite knowing he wouldn't listen to her. Tears were falling from her eyes, recalling all the moments she spent with him. The moment when they become friends. The moment when he called her best friend. The moment when she realised how important Vince was to her. The moment when Vince chose her over his fated mate. The moment when he confessed his feelings. The moment when she said yes to him. She was recalling every moment of their relationship. She recalled the moment when Vince fought for her and her dignity with everyone in the pack. He even stayed with her in the dragon. She recalled their engagement day and then the moment when she lost him.
She felt a sharp pain in her heart like it stopped beating remembering that moment. With every passing second, her pain was increasing.
"Aana'' She heard Ryan calling him but before she could respond to him, the darkness consumed her. Ryan checked her pulse and it didn't take him long to understand that Aana had a heart attack, unable to hold the pain. The worst part is Alice had blocked her because of which she didn't know anything about Aana's health then there is no chance she would have healed Aana.
Ryan kept both his hands on her chest above her heart to apply pressure, trying to give her a temporary treatment and thankfully it worked. Aana starts breathing and slightly opens her eyes but he knows she needs proper treatment. He immediately took her to the werewolf hospital, which is not far, and called the heart specialist to operate on her.
Ryan was furious at Alice for being careless. He badly wanted to scold her but right now, he was just praying to the moon goddess for Aana's recovery, and his prayers were heard by the goddess. Aana's life gets out of danger but to deal with the weakness in her body, the doctor gives her an injection because of that it will take her time to regain consciousness. Ryan tried to contact Aaron to tell him about Aana's condition but Aaron didn't pick up his call nor did he check his email.
Ryan stays beside Aana, taking care of her like a big brother. He just wanted her to recover while Aana was unconscious for four days. When she opened her eyes, only one name came out of her mouth and it was Aaron's name. Ryan told her that he tried to contact him but Aaron didn't pick up his call nor checked his emails.
Aana recalled everything that happened on her birthday and a tear rolled from her eyes. She wanted to yell at Ryan for stopping her from going near Vince but somewhere she knows he did that for her betterment. Aana called Alice who unblocked her. It didn't take her long to understand that because of Alice only she got conscious.
"Let me call the doctor," Ryan muttered and left the room.
"I'm sorry, Aana" Alice apologised, whimpering at her stupidity for blocking her human who was about to lose her life. Now when Alice's anger cooled off, she understood the reason behind Aana's action.
"It was not your fault. You were mad at me for hurting our mate and your decision was right. I deserve this pain for hurting our mate." she replied to her and a tear rolled from her eyes. She knows Aaron and Rex must be mad at her for leaving them alone at the venue.
"Aana" Her eyes widened upon hearing the voice of the person about whom they are thinking. She looked at the door to confirm her doubt. A smile appeared on her face seeing Aaron standing there, huffing like he was running over here.
Aaron was about to take his flight when he checked his email and found an email from an unknown person, stating Aana's medical report with a note.
"We found Vince's body in the forest and when I informed Aana about it, she came to see Vince for the last time. I don't know the reason but Alice had blocked her. When Aana sees Vince's burning body, her health gets worse. She had a heart attack and was admitted to the werewolves hospital."
Aaron checked the date, it was the same date when Aaron proposed to Aana. It didn't take him long to understand that Aana ran from the venue to see Vince last time. Tears rolled from his eyes realising the reasons behind her action.
The moment he came to know, Aana had a heart attack, he rushed to the hospital and then ran like a maniac towards the room in which Aana is admitted. He took a deep breath when he saw Aana and a tear rolled from his eyes. He never thought that he would see her in this state.
"Aaron" Aana called him and extended her hand towards him, asking him to hug her. He bowed his eyes, feeling guilty for misunderstanding her. All the time, he thought she left him after rejecting his proposal. He thought she didn't care for him, that's why she didn't contact him but in reality, she was hospitalised.
Aaron rushed towards her and took her in his embrace. The moment she got his arms, She lost all control over her tears and herself.
"I'm sorry" They both apologised together while crying in each other's arms. Only they knew how much relief they got after seeing each other. For a moment they felt like they lost each other and that thought was enough to crumble their souls.
"I love you" He muttered, hiding his face in her neck. Aana didn't reply to him but hugged him tightly, not wanting to let him go.
"When I returned home and didn't find you, I thought you left after rejecting me" he mumbled like a child.
"How can you think of something like this? Didn't I tell you, I can't live a single day without you" She replied in a complaining tone, bringing a smile to his face. Indirectly Aana confessed her love. Aaron broke the hug and kissed her all over the face.
"When I came to know you had a heart attack, I felt like my heart stopped beating for a moment" He muttered. Aana wiped his tears and touched her forehead with his.
"I'm fine. Alice healed me" His expression hardened upon hearing Alice's name.
"It was not her fault, Aaron," Aana muttered, understanding the reason behind the change in his expression.
"It is... What the fucking hell she was thinking before blocking you?" He growled, making her flinch. Aana moved her hand on his arms to calm her. He removed her hand.
"No matter what you say Pearl but I won't forget her for this" He growled. Alice whimpers upon hearing him. Aana took his hand in her.
"She did all this for you, Aaron"
"For me?"
"Yes, for you... She didn't want me to leave you alone there especially when you were crying but I went against her that's why in anger she blocked me. She did that because she loves you"
"But" Before he could say something, Aana put her finger on his lips.
"Forget whatever happened. Moreover, I deserve this pain for hurting you"
"Don't utter rubbish" He growled, removing her finger from his lips. Aana didn't reply and rested her head on his chest. Tears rolled from her eyes.
"I'm sorry for hurting you" She mumbled.
"You can." He muttered. She looked up at him.
"You had all right over me, Pearl. You can love me then you can hate me as well. You can make my life then you can also destroy it. You can heal me but at the same time, you had all right to hurt me. I'm all yours and only yours" He confessed, bringing a blissful smile to her face. She closed her eyes when his lips touched her forehead making her realise the moon goddess blessed her with a gem like him who is like a remedy to all her pain.
