Aana was sitting comfortably in Aaron's lap. Despite Alice healed Aana, Aaron still gets her full body checkup done. He wanted to make sure she was alright and when he was assured everything was fine, he brought her home. He made food for her and then made her eat with his hands while she was making sure that he also had his food with her.

After dinner, they went to the terrace. He sat on the swing which is situated in the middle of the terrace and then made her sit between his legs. They both were silently enjoying the presence of each other looking at the sky, full of stars. Aaron looked at her when he felt a drop of water fall on his hand. She had tears in her eyes.

"What happened, Pearl? Why are you crying?" He asked anxiously.

"Are you feeling any sort of pain?" He muttered and held her hand. She nodded her head negatively and sat straight.

"Then why are you crying?" He asked.

"I'm sorry for hurting you" she mumbled and opened her palm in which she was holding the ring which Aaron purchased to purpose to her. He looked at her, widening his eyes.

"Where did you find it?"

"My Beta found this ring where you proposed to me. He went there in search of you. He told me that you destroyed everything over there." He turned his face in another direction, not able to understand what to say. She made him look at her and then held both of her ears.

"I'm sorry. Believe me, I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to see him for the last time and I rejected him because I didn't want to be unfair to Vince who died because of me. How selfish I would be if I moved on with someone else." She mumbled. Aaron tightened his lips, not to say anything harsh to her.

"How can someone be so stupid?" Rex growled in Aaron's mind. He wanted to snap her for thinking something like this but Aaron didn't let him, because he knows Rex easily loses his temper.

"I left you alone over there to see Vince for the last time but moon goddess snatched that chance as well from me. I think in this whole world no one is more unfortunate than me." She covered her face in her palm. Tears welled up in Aaron's eyes seeing her like this. He could feel her pain through a bond.

"What do you mean you didn't see him last time? You went there to see him only. Right?"

"I went but before I could see him, Vince's parents had burned his body." She hugged him while crying. He could feel how much she wanted to see him for the last time.

"I was about to confess my love to Aaron when someone shot him with a silver bullet. I didn't even get a chance to tell him how much I loved him. They killed him to take revenge on me."

"Who?" She looked at him confusingly.

"Who killed him?" His one question was enough to tremble her soul.

"Fuck.. I was about to utter about Alexander in front of him. No... he shouldn't get to know about him" She thought looking at him.

"Why? He had all the right to know about our past, Aana. If you're not going to tell him then I will" Alice frowned at her human.

"No... Dare you Alice to do something like this. Don't you know how he reacts in our matters? Remember once I was locked out by a coworker mistakenly in the storeroom."

"Yeah... You had a panic attack because of the darkness. Thankfully, Aaron felt it through mate, and came on time because it become hard for me to calm you"

"And after calming me down. He beat the hell out of that person who locked me mistakenly. Only I know how I controlled him that day for not killing him." Aana rolled her eyes.

"Why are you talking about that topic?" Alice frowned.

"Aaron reacted so badly only that small matter then imagine how he will react when he came to know what Alexander did to me"

"He will kill him," Alice mumbled.

"He will try but will not be able to because Alexander belongs to high-rank werewolves. He ruled many packs. It won't take him even a second to wipe out both of us and I don't want anything to happen to Aaron. I don't want a single strain of my past on Aaron" Aana replied and looked at him.

"Finally you realised I'm seating with you" Aaron complained to her. He was waiting for her to answer his question but she started talking to Alice.

"I can't believe you're jealous of Alice" She chuckled. A smile came on his face after seeing her smiling. He moved his hand in his hair and shrugged his shoulder.

"Could you blame me for that when you're ignoring my presence"

"I wasn't ignoring you but talking to her" Aana replied.

"It's the same thing."

"You're crazy!" She laughed and hopped down from his lap. Aaron held her hand before she would have taken a step.

"It's a nice way to avoid my question, Pearl" Smile vanished from her lips upon hearing him. She tried her best to avoid his question but she forgot, he knows her better than anyone. He smiled and stood up.

"If you don't want to tell me then it's okay" he muttered and made her look at him.

"For me only you and your happiness matter, Pearl. If you don't want to tell me about your past then it's all okay" he said and attached his lips with her, widening her eyes. She didn't expect him to kiss her suddenly. He smiled seeing her reacting and pulled her closer only to deepen the kiss.

"Aaron" she moaned when he bit her lower lips. Finding it as a chance he entered her mouth and started exploring every corner with his tongue. Aana closed her eyes, feeling the intensity of his love. She felt her knees get weak. Thankfully, he was holding her otherwise she would have surely fallen on the ground.

"I want you to kiss me back, Pearl," he muttered, breaking the kiss. Aana looked at him dumb-headed. Before she would have processed his words, he again attacked her lips. She took time but then kissed him back with equal passion and love. They both started fighting for dominance and then he gave up and let her kiss the way she wanted. They both were kissing each other passionately until it became necessary for them to fill the air in their lungs.

He picked her up in his arms while she crossed her legs around his waist. She joined her forehead with him. Their faces were still closed and they could feel each other's breath. He looked into her eyes to see any resistance or hesitation and when he didn't find anything but love in her eyes, he again attached his lips with her.

He sat on the swing and moved his hand from her waist to her hips folding them. She moaned in his mouth in response.

"Stop... stop... stop" Aaron was ranting in his mind to remind himself not to do something for which she was not ready. He broke the kiss and maintained a little distance from her.

Aana looked at him in disappointment, not expecting him to move away like this. Aaron scrunched his eyebrow when he found her glaring at him angrily.

"What happened?" He asked but she didn't reply and instead smacked on his arms.

"Aah… Why are you beating me?" He hissed.

"You deserve that, dumbo" she hissed and pushed him, making him loosen his balance on the swing. He tried to hold the stand but failed and fell on the ground with her above his body. She looked at him, widening her eyes, realising what just had happened.

"Moon goddess... I'm sorry. I'm genuinely sorry. I didn't think you would fall. I'm sorry." She immediately apologised, realising the situation.

"Are you okay?" she asked anxiously and was about to get up when he held her and pulled her closer, making him fall over him again.

"At first it hurt but don't worry, Rex healed me" She took a relief breath upon hearing him. He smiled and encircled his hands around her waist.

"Answer me one thing. Why were you angry?" She narrowed her eyes at his question.

"Are you angry because we were that close or you're mad at me because I grip on myself on time?" He asked, making her realise how close they were a while before. Her whole face reddened with his question and her reaction was enough for him to know the answer to his question. He laughed when Aana hid her face in his chest.

"Pearl" he called her after a while. She raised her head and looked at him and then what he asked next was enough to give goosebumps all over her body.

"Would you like to meet Vince?"
