Chapter 75: Chapter 75

Chapter 77: Dad is nicer to aunt than me.

Those words said by his son tugged a string of emotion in Alex' heart. He looked at Elly.

Elly blushed and turned around. "Let's go to the playground." Elly's voice trembled a little as she tried to supress her feelings.

Alex is their driver today. He took his son and Elly to the playground, just as they planned.

Kitten held his father's hand and asked in a low voice. "Why don't you go with me? Let's get on the high-speed glider, Dad."

Elly turned his eyes and looked at Alex and laughed secretly as he imagined him standing in line with a series of children.

Alex saw Elly's smile, he stooped down and explained to Kitten, "I am already an adult. I can't play these childish games."

Alex deliberately leaned over, got closer to her and said. "Your Aunt Elly is also an adult but she's shorter than my shoulder." Alex said. The visual theory made Elly felt insecure for her humble height. Elly did not expect that he would say this to Kitten, her surprised eyes met Alex' burning eyes. In an instant, Elly's heartbeat was out of control, and she blushed. It was not clear whether she was shy or angry. She pushed Alex away. "Who is the child?"

"If Aunt Elly is a child like me, shouldn't you like me more? You should ride with me on a high-speed glider so that I won't be afraid. You talked happily just now and I was afraid it would make me cry." Kitten blamed his father. He said that sincerely and it made the two adults choke up.

"Okay, I'll sit with you there." Elly hurriedly took him by the hand and dared not stand there for fear that she would continue to say unusual words. She never forgot to look at Alex. "Your father is too old to play this kind of games."

Alex did not participate in the games, but when he saw that Elly and Kitten were happy, he felt very happy also.

It was not until the two became exhausted that Kitten reluctantly got on the car. As soon as Elly got on the car, he said,"Thank you, Auntie Elly, for taking me out." Kitten smiled.

On the way back, Elly looked out of the window all the time. Alex felt that his words made her feel very embarrassed, he is thought that maybe it was the cause why she deliberately avoided his eyes.

Kitten could not contain his laughter and was in a good mood.

When he parked his car in front of the house, he found out that Elly was fast asleep. Alex looked at his baby son first said, "Go back to your bedroom first. Aunt Elly was tired from playing with you today. Don't wake her up."

Kitten looked at him reluctantly, climbed out of the car discreetly and told Alex seriously before leaving, "Dad, please don't secretly kiss my Aunt Elly."

Alex frowned and watched the boy ran inside followed by their housekeeper.

A few minutes went by and Elly still showed no sign of waking up. Alex bent down and held her in his arms gently, fearing that she would wake up, and lifted her

Elly's body is very light and exudes a fragrant smell. Alex thought it would be great to carry her to his room.

As soon as he put Elly down on the bed, the cell phone in his pocket suddenly rang, which caused Elly to wake up immediately.

When she opened her eyes, Alex' face was very close to hers. In his eyes, she could not see the usual viciousness, only a touch warmth. Elly immersed herself in his gentle eyes. Their breath was intertwined.

Before reason could stop her, her hand unconsiously reacted and a loud slap was heard inside the room.

Elly slapped Alex, her gentle eyes suddenly became ferocious. She stared at him angrily, as if she wanted to eat him alive. "You fell asleep in the car and I kindly carried you back to my room." Alex reasoned out.

Elly blinked in horror. "Your face was flushed and you are talking nonsense but thank you."

Alex was still leaning over her, but the phone in his pocket was ringing constantly, he did not care as he quietly looked at Elly.

"You should give up your habit of hitting people." Alex said.

She bit her lip and her face was warm because she gave him a good beating. Alex knew that he was wrong, he nodded shyly and whispered. "I'm sorry. I was also surprised."

As he bowed his head and admitted his mistake, he quickly looked away and took back his hand that was holding her shoulder. "Take a rest." Alex said faintly ss he walked out of the room.

Elly watched as the door closed. She threw the blanket over herself in panic. She knew that her face was very red just like a tomato.

Even if it was only a small touch, Elly's heartbeat was as fast as a drum. She was frightened by what she felt.

Outside the door, Alex was not calm as she was, breathing heavily, he was panting and he felt very nervous. He thought that it seemed like he was in a bit of a hurry and it was a bad thing because she wasn't used to this kind of intimacy.

The next morning, when Elly saw Alex, she suddenly remembered what happened last night. Her instinct made her afraid to look at him in the eye. Elly clearly felt that she was intoxicated with the constant tremors in her heart.

She doesn't know if this was a good thing or a bad thing.

She went to the room of the Kitten because today she agreed to draw and play with him. Kitten always plays this game, sometimes he will cheat, but will be deliberately conceded by Elly.

During the break, Kitten sat in her arms and drank a box of milk. she rubbed his hair, a thought formed in her mind, she finally had the courage to ask. "Kitten, what do you think your father thinks of Aunt Elly?"

"Daddy?" He tilted his head and thought seriously before he answered that his father was nicer to his Aunt Elly than him.

"There is no need for you to ask me, Dad bought you a lot of things, but when I told him that I wanted to buy a plane, he did not agree."

He bought me a lot of stuff?

"Dad bought you clothes, shoes and handbags. I saw lipstick, too." He said with a hint of jealousy in his voice.

"Maybe your father bought you a present secretly?"

"Dad said you are poor and had no money to buy clothes. So he wanted to help you look beautiful. I promised him that I won't tell it to you, don't tell Dad that I did." Kitten said.

Elly nodded in agreement, she remembered the day when Alex fetched her, he was surprised that she had too little luggage. It turned out that he still took it to heart.

As Kitten said, these expensive clothes and beautiful shoes were sent to Hagreaves' home three days later, and Elly was very confused.

"I appreciate your kindness, but I can't accept it." Elly declined politely. "I'm just your secretary and babysitter and I'm not qualified to accept such treatment."

Alex was annoyed at her inferiority complex, and his voice grew louder before he knew it. "If you won't accept it, I'll send someone to cut them into pieces."

"Are you always this bossy?"

Alex was worried that she would not accept it, but her face was still fierce. "I'll ask you again, would you not accept it?"

"No, no!" Elly answered bravely.

She watched Alex' face as he got angry. He was still beside her when someone hurriedly pulled her, "Miss Elly, let's go."

Elly felt pressured because of Alex' tyranny and even though she was dragged away from the ferocious line of sight by one of the housekeepers, she was still very dissatisfied. "Was he always this arrogant?"

When the housekeeper heard her question, she could not stop herself from laughing. "Miss Elly, Mr. Hagreaves is not bossy to you. This is the first time that the boss has feelings for a woman, so the way he expresses his feelings is still very clumsy and unsure. Miss Elly, please don't be angry."

Elly stiffened, she blushed and answered. "Don't say that. There is nothing going on between the two of us."

Miss Elly looked like a good match with her boss. She is an honest person. Their master lived with Miss Emily for three years, but their relationship was not as good as outsiders thought. "Our boss is obviously quite indifferent to Miss Emily but Ms. Elly is different. This is the first time our boss has bought clothes for a woman."

Elly was surprised by the servant's comments. Alex once said she liked her, but she didn't believe it, but everyone around her saw it.

The next words of the housekeeper made her more shocked. "Since you moved here, our master changed a lot, he now likes to go home for dinner, he's often at home now on weekends, and he no longer works overtime until late evening. Especially, every time you come around, his face was no longer as cold as usual.
