Chapter 19 Child abuse

Not letting Elly refuse, John hangs up the phone.

"Mommy."  Kitten pulls her shirt, softly says. "Mom, don't leave me.  You can take me to wherever you go, okay? "

Seeing his wet and red eyes swollen from crying, Elly's mind was softened.

"Can I take you to find your mommy?"  Do you remember your mom's phone number?  Let me call and report this to her, then I will take you to the hospital to take the medicine."

Upon hearing that Elly's plan to take him to find his mother, Kitten pulls down his sleeve in fear, causing sand and yellow pustules to mix which results in great pain.  She frantically holds the boy's hands, but he fights back fiercely.

"I don't want you to call her.  Let go of me ... Mommy Maddy doesn't love me anymore, I don't need you... "

"Kitten don't cry.  If you don't call your mom for her permission, I can't let you follow me."

"Then just let me die here."  Kitten moves away from her hands, standing up, and rolls his eyes.

"Where do you learn this sentence?"

"On television."

The corner of her mouth twitches and she becomes speechless, Elly had no choice but to take him to the office.  Anyway, Alex was the baby's father, if the baby runs out like this, the family will definitely be worried.

Elly takes Kitten to the toilet in the building, she wants to first wash the wounds on his hands.

Although she tries her best to be gentle, the wounds keep breaking, the infection leads to yellow discharge, Kitten cannot hold back his tears, hiccups.

"I'm in pain."

"Kitten, be strong, a little more is fine."

"I am in pain.  Mom, lick my hands, don't wash them with the water.  An injured cat just needs a few licks to cure ... hu hu... it hurts... "

Elly carefully washes away the dirt and sand from his hands.  Because she was so attentive, she does not know that the sounds of Kitten can make others misunderstand.

"Elly!  What have you done to my baby? "

Alex was dragged into the toilet by a familiar crying noise, and the sight makes his heart hurt.  Elly is clutching, her fingers are twisting the boy's arms, even though he struggles and sobs.

Tossing Kitten from Elly's embrace, Alex slaps her face.

"Are you still a human being?"

Elly lost momentum, slipping, and slams her head against the wall of the hand basin. She is bewildered, not understanding what was going on while holding the swollen purple lump at her forehead and scramble to get up.

At that time, Alex sees the wound on his son's hands. "Kitten, what's with your hands? Does that cruel girl want to kidnap you? Did she cause you these injuries? "

"Alex!  What are you talking about?  When did I kidnap Kitten?"

"Kitten?  How do you dare to call my child's name?  For what purpose do you kidnap my child?  For the money, or for?" Still, holding Kitten in his arms, Alex reaches out so quickly that Elly only sees a flash, her neck was strangled in pain.  "Do you want to crawl into my bed by taking advantage of him, by staging a kidnapping scene?"

Elly scratches the hands that are strangling her neck as she cannot breathe.

Kitten sees his father bullying his mother, so he hastily pulls his shirt: "Dad, mother Maddy doesn't do..." But by seeing Alex's fierce face that is full of dangerous intentions, he is too afraid to speak.

Alex heard the sound of his son, so he looks down at him. Elly quickly makes use of this advantage to get his hands off her neck and kicks him hard on his one knee.

Feeling pain, Alex's eyes are bloodshot red, he cruelly threw her body to the ground, which makes Elly's head hit the sink a second time.

She ignores the throbbing pain of her head, instantly standing up and backs off to prevent more injuries.

"Damn Alex!  I don't kidnap your baby.  Who gives you the right to hit innocent people? "

"So, can you explain why my child who doesn't know, appeared to be with you in your arms?"

"Didn't you the one who abused your own son? Alright! So, you want to prove it, don't you?  I will call the police to see whether they would arrest the kind of father who abused his child or an innocent citizen who saw a child in pain and brought him in here to clean the wound?"

Elly aggressively takes out her phone and calls the police. She also wanted the police to clarify this case, Kitten was too small to suffer from this type of domestic violence. The police should intervene in this abusive father right away.

The air in the toilet becomes way too oppressive, Elly stares at Alex, she regards him as an evil and heartless human being, whereas Alex considers her a kidnapper, so he does not allow Kitten to run her side.

Kitten is frightened with the murderous expression on Alex's face. He looks at Elly's eyes to crave for help: "Mom Maddy..."

"Don't be so careless with your mouth."  Alex roars, threatening the boy to stop crying, which makes his tears gradually turn into small hiccups.

Two policemen arrived some minutes later, Elly retorted first.

"Sir, he is the one who abused his child. You can look at the injured arms of the baby, this kind of merciless father who has no humanity should be put in jail and beaten to death."

Alex looks at Elly coldly, emphasizing every word. "This girl kidnapped my son, tortured, and beat him. Please investigate this case clearly."

The two policemen looked at each other anxiously, they also did not expect this phone call which reported about the cruelly famous boss of this company, if they handled this situation carelessly, they will definitely lose their job.

Elly has been beaten several times, so her clothes are totally ragged. Additionally, she loudly criticizes Alex, so the policemen decided that everything was caused by her.

"Please return to the police station to cooperate with us about this case."

"Why I am the one who was arrested?  He was the one that should be imprisoned... hey... hey... Sir, don't touch me."

"Mom Maddy did not kidnap me.  I wasn't beaten by my mother." Kitten sees that Elly was struggling to escape from the police and immediately screams out loud.

The baby holds Alex's hands.  "Daddy, the one who hurts my hand was not mommy Maddy."

Alex looks at Elly being arrested with satisfaction, suddenly hearing his son, and looks down.  His gaze still has a merciless ferocity that instinctively shrunk the kid's fear, but he still manages to finish his words.

"Emily cut my hand.  She hit my hand with a whip. If they have recovered, she will hit them again."

Alex was shocked, his body becomes stiff, his jaw is wide open, his teeth clenched, making his voice hissing.

"Emily?"

Kitten nods strongly and then lower his head, not daring to look into his father's scary eyes.

The policemen plan to perfect more testimony.

Elly hears the name Emily and immediately knows that this is their family's problem.

"Excuse me, can I leave?  This is the personal case of his family. I don't have anything to do with other people's families."

Alex hears that Elly was disgusted with his family's story. He got extremely angry but couldn't force her to stay.

"Go away.  I'll talk to you later."

Elly glares at Alex and then throw the fruits she bought before into the trash and leaves the bathroom.

"What on earth are you doing? Being a father but you cannot even protect your own son. Such a useless person. The famous cruel and ruthless boss was still blinded by a woman, and a boy was tortured without his father's realization...Well, if I was the one who takes care of him, I will regain his justice, avenge poor Kitten. "

Elly's hateful sayings were not of great importance to Alex right now, because at the present he was trying to embrace Kitten, not allowing the baby to run after her.

"My mother runs away again. Why is dad and I are always left behind by Mommy Maddy?"  Tears roll down his tiny plump face, Kitten looks resentfully at Alex. If it wasn't for his dad, he would have been able to catch up with his mother.

The two policemen scratch their noses and glance at each other as if they have heard the news about the long-term mysterious mother of the well-known boss.

Alex looks coldly at the two people standing beside him who is secretly judging him.

"Thank you for coming.  This is a family matter. I will take care of it.  You two can go."

The power of this man in front of them was much greater than their chief, so the two comrades raised their hands in greeting and quickly left.

Alex took Kitten back to his office.

He puts the baby on the sofa, sitting in front of him, sternly asks.  "Kitten, why don't you tell me about Emily beating you?"

Kitten purses his lips; he doesn't want to answer at all.

"Now I already knew this, I will never let Emily hurt you again," Alex emphasizes.

"Didn't you order her to beat me?"

The innocent young voice was like a hundred thousand knives stabbing directly into Alex's heart.  His body becomes stiff, tightened in the luxurious suit, the ferocious beast in his body turns into an irresistible ferocity.

Kitten looks at Alex's increasingly scarier face, tears fall from his eyes, his voice is clear: "Every time she would beat me, then she says that you let her beat me if I am disobedient."

"If I don't call her 'mother', I'll get hit."

"If I say she is not my mom, I will get hit."

"I say my mother's name, Maddy, she will immediately beat me."

Kitten talks shakingly. Alex holds the baby in his arms, his body was burning with anger and pain. His son who was in his warm embrace suddenly says,

"Daddy, you always wanted to hit me because you hate me, right? Emily also shows her hatred towards me. If you hate me so, can you take me to my mother?"
