Chapter 170: Chapter 170
Chapter 172 You can take her to live with you
Elly's unhappy attitude made Alex glance at her suspiciously, "Who made you angry? Why do you look so bad early in the morning?"
"It's nothing." Elly was hiding something. She didn't want Alex to know that Aaron had just left. She was afraid of him questioning her and was not in the mood to answer any.
In the living room, Elly put the coffee cup in front of him and glanced at his thoughts, a little worried that he would complain about what happened at breakfast.
"I missed your coffee." Picking up the coffee cup in his hand, Alex looked at the choppy things inside and sighed. He looked at her with very real sincerity.
Elly's hands and feet remained motionless, thanks to eyewitness destruction of this strange atmosphere. He had a cautious voice, "Are you here to take me home?"
Yeah! He nodded and asked. "What happened to your face? Doesn't Kitten want to go home with you?"
She nodded and shook her head again, asking naive questions. "Aren't you going to pick him up? Why just pick me up?"
Alex turned and looked at Elly's reaction. She bowed her head silently and had to sigh. "Living together is not very convenient for your mother's work. We shouldn't embarrass mom, should we?"
"What do you mean, inconvenient? Dad, as long as you marry your mother, you can take her to live with you."
Elly spits coffee straight out of her mouth, and the child's words were too frightening.
Alex rubbed his thoughts with a smile, satisfied with his son's tone, and interested in Elly's embarrassing behavior.
Elly hurriedly wiped the coffee on the table and placed a beautiful card in front of him. Looking at the exquisite pattern design, she was stunned and did not reach for it. "What's this?"
"Saturday is a birthday party for Kitten. I'm going to hold a celebration party for him. I hope you can come."
His words were gentle, but it was like hitting her on the head with a hammer. She has been in so much trouble with adults recently that she can't remember her own son's birthday. Elly looked at Alex with penitent eyes. "I'm sorry, it slipped my mind. I haven't prepared a birthday present for Kitten yet."
"By Saturday, Mom. You come to my birthday, and your present is the biggest gift." Kitten said with a smile.
"Mom will be there on time."
Alex and Kitten both cheered, jumped out of Alex's arms, and ran to kiss her. Alex watched her hug her son again, smiling at the corners of his mouth. He liked the simple atmosphere.
On Saturday morning, Elly arranged her clothes and picked out her clothes to attend Kitten's birthday. She knew that Kitten's birthday party was not a simple routine, but a formal party full of luxury.
While thinking about the choice, the bell rang in the room door. Elly opened the door and looked at the hotel staff with a big box in his hand.
What happened?
"Hello, Miss Elly! Mr. Alex sent you something." The hotel staff smiled politely.
"Could you put it on the table?"
When Elly was foolishly at a loss, the hotel staff went into the room, carefully put the box on the table, and bowed respectfully. "This was from Mr. Alex, who specially ordered to bring something for Ms. Elly. My job here is done."
The waitress came and went like the wind, while she stood alone on the door with a big box on the table.
Elly stood at the door for a moment and exhaled back to the table. She opened it clumsily and inside was a luxurious and precious party dress.
She was stupefied for a few minutes and then suddenly called Alex in shame. She spoke quickly on the phone. "Did you send me clothes?"
"Have you tried it on?" A hoarse voice with laughter on the phone.
She answered instinctively and was startled because it didn't feel right. "There's no need to try it on. I have clothes and I can't get what you sent. Please send someone to pick it up."
Alex's voice went down, a little unpleasant. "Do you need to be so clear?"
"Yes!" Elly nodded violently.
"Oh, yes! If you want to make it clear that you come to our son's birthday party, do I have to pay for you?"
Elly's expression stagnated and her eyebrows frowned. These two things were different. "I miss my son's mother, and it is obvious that the biological mother appeared on my son's birthday."
Elly argued indignantly, and the more she talked, the more she suffered, so she had no choice but to accept his kindness. "OK, anyway, you bought it and sent it to the hotel. I'll wear it."
The belly button should start from scratch. A low laugh crept into her ear from the phone, and she knew that he was very satisfied with her needs. "I'll pick you up soon!"
Yes. Yes. After they discussed it, Elly hung up the phone.
Looking down at the skirt in the box, she picked up the skirt and wanted to try it. She found a pair of silver and white high heels underneath, which were very suitable for the skirt.
Is he so careful? Elly took a look at her high heels, which was similar to her legs.
Not wanting to spend time in the hotel room thinking about Alex's careful arrangements, she decided to go to the mall to pick out birthday presents for her son.
After walking around the mall, she couldn't find anything suitable. She saw a very exquisite handmade photo album. Elly's eyes sparkled, and she suddenly came up with a new idea.
She spent the whole day preparing gifts.
In the evening, Alex's car was parked at the entrance of the hotel. Instead of going to her room, he called her to go out.
When Elly walked out of the door of the hotel, Alex's eyes could not be explained. He chose the skirt and shoes with his own hands, but he didn't expect her clothes to be so gorgeous and so naturally charming.
Being stared at shyly, Elly looked down at her soft skirt and said sheepishly. "So, how do I look?"
"Very beautiful!" Alex answered quickly, and then he scratched his nose.
The joy of being praised by Alex made her laugh triumphantly. The atmosphere of the two was very different from the smell of hate gunpowder in the past. In fact, the child has always been a bridge for parents, but Elly did not notice it.
Alex bent down to open the door for her and saw her with a big bag in her hand and tried to reach for it. "What's in the bag? Is it for me?"
"What are you doing This is a birthday present for Kitten!"
He frowned and his eyes were a little jealous. "Who says it's not ready yet?"
"What happened to you? How could I not get my son's birthday?" Elly ignored his jealous expression and sat sideways in the passenger seat, "Come on, what are you doing standing there?"
Alex closed the door and turned the passenger seat, but he didn't start the car and stared into the bag in an annoyed voice. "I gave you your clothes and shoes. Don't you have a present?"
"Get you a present?" Elly was startled as soon as she opened her mouth, and she giggled. "Oh, my God! How old are you? Did you want a present? Aren't you ashamed?"
There were also several jokes rejected. Alex angrily stepped on the throttle so that Elly wouldn't have time to prepare, but luckily, she had a seat belt on. She stared into his eyes, saw the bitter stew on her cold face, and smiled chubby again.
Not wanting to touch the ant seat, she turned to look at the window. The enclosed space in the car was very comfortable.
The car was parked in front of Alex Hargreaves' house, and Kitten soon stood at the door to greet her.
"Mommy Elly is so beautiful today!"
"Today, my baby is also very handsome, just like a prince!" Elly stroked his cold cheek and said anxiously. "Why are you standing outside in such cold weather? What if you get sick?"
"Because I was afraid you wouldn't come, so I just stood there and waited." Dizzying with a smile on his face, the bridge of his nose was red due to the cold.
Her heart was so tight that she could not speak, so Kitten pulled her into the room and threw Alex just out of the car.
"Mom, let's leave dad!" Alex shook his head and surrendered, threw the car keys to the housekeeper, and strode in.
The designer was beautifully decorated, and balloons, flowers, and sparkling things are all designed in harmony and warmth. As she predicted, the banquet was very large, and there are bound to be many distinguished guests.
Elly's eyes were attracted by the photos shown on the screen in the living room. Each photo records the growth process of Kitten from birth to the age of five, and everything, as in everything, was preserved very professionally.
Elly watched him grow up day after day, tears could not help streaming down her eyes, and her chest was unbearably heavy.
Regret, pity, sour and sadness were intertwined with emotional levels. She was having trouble breathing.
In the first few years of his life, she missed the maturity of Kitten. He learned to crawl, learned to learn, and went to the nursery for the first time. She missed it completely and didn't accompany him.
Her remorseful expression broke Alex's heart. He touched her hand and gently coaxed her, "Don't cry, I specially prepared photos for you, not because I want to make you feel uncomfortable."
