Chapter 100: Chapter 100

Chapter 102 Decided to leave

Elly did not expect that one day, such a pained expression on Emily's face would appear. Her pride was crushed.

She was sad, but she didn't show it.

Emily opened the door and was in a full bloom. "Welcome home!"

Elly hesitantly looked at Emily's gentle smile and the light behind her. After a few moments, she finally took a step.

A man sat on the sofa in the living room. He stood up as soon as he saw her and walked quickly to her. Elly was very nervous.

Are you my daughter?

Elly did not know how to answer. She had no memory of the past and felt very estranged to Mr. Russel.

Emily suddenly pushed Elly from behind. She staggered for Emily cleverly broke the awkward situation. "Let us not just stand here, sit on the table. I cooked a lot of food today, so you should give it your enthusiastic support."

Elly sat awkwardly at the table and realized that most of the dishes were foods she liked. Did Emily really understand her taste?

Elly couldn't eat it, she felt shallow and uncomfortable, so she ate as much as she wanted. "Look at you." Mr. Russel said. Tears were running down his face. "You've been suffering for years."

"Dad, don't blame yourself. When Elly decided to marry him, you stopped them, that made her farther away from us." Emily answered. "It's not your fault, let alone Elly's fault."

Elly listened quietly to the two people opposite her, they consoled each other comfortably. Elly felt that she was an outsider in their conversation.

It was extremely difficult for Elly to have this meal. In Mr. Russel's loving eyes, Elly was very upset and she ate her meal dejectedly.

She looked forward to the affection between her father and her. That did happened as Mr. Russell laughed with her and suddenly became her father. He expected Elly to favor their side.

"Go home after you leave the hospital and don't be alone. Your family will take good care of you."

Before Elly had opened her mouth, Emily sadly rejected their Dad's idea. "Dad, our house will be crowded out sooner or later. Creditors often come to harass us, if you will let Elly live here, she will only suffer just like the two of us."

"I don't care! Anyway, she can't be with that Alex!"

She knew that her father loved her and that Alex was the devil who destroyed their family. Her family wouldn't make her sad. Emily said that she cared about her sister.

"Madeline is an honest child. She always puts Alex above everything."

Elly listened to the quarrel between her sister and father. She clenched her lips and it took her a long time to open her mouth. "Regarding the house, I will find a way to keep the it."

Mr. Russel looked at her with love. Elly pulled her chair and stood up to say goodbye.

"There are bodyguards in the hospital. I need to come back as soon as possible to let the Alex know that what happened tonight was not bad."

Elly nodded to Mr. Russel and walked quickly to the door.

"I'll take you home." Emily winked at Mr. Russel and chased after her with the key.

Emily stopped at the gate of the hospital and looked shyly at Elly. "I'm sorry. It's not that I don't want to live with you. Now that the Russel family has fallen, creditors are always coming at our door. I don't want you to experience this chaotic life. Don't be mad at me, okay?"

"I understand." Elly smiled and opened the door.

"Thank you!"

As she looked at the lonely figure of Elly, Emily frowned. It was not easy to win her trust. It was not enough to use words to clean up past mistakes. She knew that some higher measures must be taken.

Back at Russel's family home, Emily looked at Mr. Russel's calm expression excitedly. "Dad, your performance was so great that anyone will believe that you are a father who's just worrying about his daughter."

Mr. Russel stared at her unhappily. "Why didn't you tell me Madeline was still alive? Why didn't you tell me that Alex' secretary was your sister? If I had known, that would have been a great help for us."

"What's the use of blaming me now about what happened?" Emily was angry because she was used to being spoiled by her father.

"Honey, if you had said that, my attitude towards him will not be like that. We would soon hold him in the palm of our hands and use him."

Mr. Russel only wanted to take advantage of Elly, which satisfied Emily. Even if Elly came back from the dead, Mr. Russel still doesn't care about her.

Emily laughed happily. "Our shoot tonight was really perfect. She fell for it. Elly is an idiot. She will fall to our trap sooner or later."

Mr. Russel shook his head angrily. "We need to think better about the next step. Elly's blind trust is the pedal against Alex."

Mr. Russel cast his dark eyes on Emily and hugged his daughter. "We will plan together."

At the hospital, Elly pushed the door back to her room and was surprised when she saw that Alex and Kitten sat on the hospital bed and stared at her.

"Mom!" Kitten ran to hold her leg. "Where did you go? I was waiting for a long time."

Elly hugged him and looked at Alex coldly. "Why are you here? Didn't I told you already that I didn't want to see you?"

"My son asked me to come in." Alex answered calmly.

"I asked him to come." Kitten felt that his mother was angry and he hurriedly explained. "I waited for a long time, but you didn't come back yet. I was scared, so I called for Dad's help."

Kitten sat in front of her, with tears on his eyes. "Mom, don't be mad at me, okay?" he asked pleadingly.

A mother's heart would always give in to their children. She wiped his tears and coaxed him. "You are a good boy. Go out with Housekeeper Geno for a while. I have something to tell your father."

Kitten secretly looked at Alex and whispered in her ear. "If Dad will beat you for running away from the hospital, just scream, I will run to protect her.

Elly coaxed him out and asked Housekeeper Geno for help.

The two of them fell into an atmosphere of silence. Alex was impatient and asked her first. "Where have you been?"

"None of your business!" Elly said coldly, tilting her head. "Or should I be under your control, yes, if I don't move, will you be satisfied?"

Alex did not like the tone of her voice. "You know that's not true."

"You're a bossy one." Elly stared at him and emphasized word for word. "In order to satisfy your desire for control, you arranged for your bodyguard to take care of me like a prisoner."

"I want to keep you safe!"

"I'll be safe without you!"

Elly's voice hurt Alex. "Do you think I am the greatest danger?"

Her eyes were full of anger. "Will you please let me go? Without you, I will live a peaceful life as I wish."

A tear fell on the floor and Elly's voice was heavy with too much emotion. "I beg you."

Alex' mood was getting worse. After a moment of silence, even if it was difficult for him to say, he answered her, "All right. I'll let you go."

After he had gone through a lot of things, Alex knew that he changed a lot. He knew that he should not force her. He does not need Elly to be with him. His heart was full of hatred.

Elly was relieved and she asked hesitantly. "What about Kitten?" How are you going to explain it to him?"

After everything that had happened, Elly did not want to hurt Kitten. She knew that she should not brutally separate the father and son in order for her desires to be satisfied.

Elly explained softly. "I never wanted to abandon Kitten. I had no memory then, I didn't know he existed."

"I understand." Alex reached out and stopped her from talking. He knew her thoughts and feelings.

"I do not know that you were his true mother. I will not tell him unless I got your consent. If you want to see the child, call me and I will ask Gerald to bring him over to accompany you.

Alex' keenness stunned her and a few seconds later, she laughed. "Thank you!"

"Do you go want to go to the discharge counter by yourself or do you want me to help you?" Alex politely asked her for advice.

"I'll do it myself."

Mu Ying nodded and took out a set of keys from his pocket and handed them over to Elly. "I will be in another house in town. Even if you abandon me, you should have a place to settle down, right?"
