"When you said your mom called you back for an emergency I thought it was something serious"

"there is something more serious than that"

"what is it?" Michael asked.

"About Elliot, he suspect Sofia and he is really working with that company overseas. He even took his daughter hostage to keep Sofia from doing anything" he answered.

"I also tried getting information about that company helping him but am not able to get any tangible information. We just know that it was created five years ago and it's developing fast. But the most suspicious thing is they work with us and we already gave out order that no company with us should work with B&B" he also explained.

"They are not a threat. I just want to found out more about the accident before Elliot knows what has befallen him" he said. "Why are you using this method? We can just take him away and question him" Michael said.

"No that wouldn't do. Call and inform our men in country Z to hurry up and also investigate Simon more, in every aspect. I want to know if he has a link with that company"

"am already on it" he replied.

"And also Kelvin is coming back next week" he said.

"Really? that's great. Since his father's death. We haven't talked to each other.

"Where is Sonya?" He asked.

"Oh! she got partnered with Simon. They should be in the kitchen together" he answered and before he could add another word Maxwell already stood up and left for the kitchen.

"Jealous bastard!" he remarked and shake his head.

.... Simon was busy cutting the onion and mistakenly cut his finger.

"Ouch" he let out

Sonya quickly went to his side to check on him.

"Are you a kid? How can you hurt yourself by just cutting a few onions" she scolded him and help him rinse his hands then wipe it for him.

"It's been a while since you talk to me like that" he responded.

"That's because it's been a while since you made silly mistakes like this" Simon smiled happily. Sonya finished and push him out of the way.

"Just stand there I will finish up" she said and took the knife.

"Sonya" he called lightly from her back.

"Yes, what is it?" She asked still cutting.

"You are still coming back with me to country Z after your degree right?" He asked.

"Why are you asking me that again? I already told you yes. How many times do you want to continue asking me?" she answered. Simon sigh in relieve.

"I just want to be sure you haven't changed your mind about it" he said.

"I would never do that" she replied and Simon hugged her from the back suddenly.

"I believe you" he said.

"What are you doing? Sonya protest and try to turn.

"We do this often" he said when he saw a figure standing some feet away from them.

"Sonya!" Maxwell called.

Maxwell move towards the two of them slowly. Sonya turned to him and noticed clearly the anger on his face. He looks like he is boiling with anger. She push Simon away from her but he didn't budge.

"Hey, what are you doing? Get off me" she said to him but by then Maxwell was already beside them. Simon reluctantly release his hands from her waist and face Maxwell.

"Maxwell" Sonya called faintly. But his eyes remained fixed on Simon. Maxwell sigh heavily and try to keep his cool.

"You are going back?" He asked as calmly as he can but it was still visible in his voice that he is angry.

"We are leaving together" Simon answered before Sonya could say anything.

"Shut your mouth" Maxwell roared at him.

"Let talk outside" Sonya said and held Maxwell's hand. Maxwell turn towards her and start to follow her out but then Simon held her other hand.

"We need to finish this" he said and held her hand tightly.

"You can finish up on your own" Sonya said but he still held her not attempting to let go.

"Mr Hart, it shouldn't be that you are sacred of losing her to me right?" He said provokingly and show off their hands locked together. Maxwell was agitated by that sentence and punch his face. Simon fell down instantly.

"What are you doing?" Sonya screamed at him and release his hand to check on Simon.

"Are you alright?" She asked worried then help him sit up. Maxwell was more mad with the way she shouted at him. He looked at his hand that she released and rub on it. He watch as she cared for him and check his face worriedly. He felt very jealous and pull her up.

"Stop it" he said but Sonya jerk his hand away.

"Leave me" she said and help Simon up. His nose was bleeding. She looked at Maxwell and hesitated before leaving the room with Simon. Simon look at Maxwell with a mischievous smile and held Sonya as they left together. Maxwell stood on the spot fuming then he walk out.... Sonya search around for Maxwell and couldn't find him. She went up to Michael and asked him.

"Did you guys have an argument? He just left angrily and he didn't say anything about where he was going to" he answered. Sonya nodded at him and walk away.

"Did she really make a mistake?" She thought. She was just agitated and concerned because he punched Simon.

"Sonya, what are you doing there? Come here and eat" Evelyn beckon to her. They all say down to eat.

"Why is Maxwell not here yet?" Evelyn asked Michael.

"You should ask Sonya" Micheal answered and Evelyn turn to her.

"Are you hiding him so no one gets to pair up with him" she asked jestingly. Sonya remain quiet. She was worried about where he could be.

"Then loveth, you are left with no partner. What of Simon?" she asked again.

"Am here" he said as he emerge from inside and took his seat beside Sonya. They eat in silence for a while.

"What! Urgent news" Loveth screamed.

"You sacred me" Sonya said and touch her chest.

"What news?" Evelyn asked curiously. Loveth raise up her phone and read for them.

"Maxwell Hart and Joyce Martin to announce their wedding at the Hart group of company anniversary" she read.

"The news says they've been engaged for a long while now and have decided to tie the knot between the two family" she added. Sonya dropped her spoon. Her head was suddenly not functioning well and she felt sick in her tummy.

"What nonsense are you saying?" Evelyn shouted and snatched the phone from her hand but Michael was not too surprised but he still took out his phone to check it.

"Maxwell said he already took care of it" he thought. Simon smiled to himself knowingly. Sonya trembled and quickly drank some water. Amy also stood up to receive a call.

"Sonya, this is false, there is really nothing like that. You have to trust me" Micheal told her and also stood up and left to look for Maxwell. Leaving the rest of them.

"Sonya, are you okay?" Charles asked concerned.

"How could he do that? He must have been playing around with you when he already has a fiancee" Simon said displeased.

"Why are you trying to add insult to the injury? My brother is not like that” Evelyn said in Maxwell’s defense.

“why don’t we get going right now” Charles suggested. Sonya was not concentrating on any of their words at all, All her thought was on Maxwell. They all set out for the haunted house. Simon was all around Sonya and acting like her boyfriend which pisses both Evelyn and Loveth off. They finished from the haunted house and unlike what they excepted it was quite boring. They decide to go to the park before going for their beach party. They got to the park and Simon got a matching costume for himself and Sonya.

“are you trying to take my brother’s place? Because that’s how it seems to me or why else would want to wear a matching couple's costume with her” Evelyn said pissed off.

“what are you saying? They are cousins, its just for fun” Loveth chipped in.

“cousin with mouth. We already know that you guys are not real cousins” she replied.

“Evelyn don’t make trouble lets leave them” Charles said and drag her away to another side of the park. Loveth was surprised to know that they are not really cousins. She has suspected this before but confirming it now was still shocking. She followed behind Evelyn and Charles while Simon gave the costume to Sonya.

“you haven’t said anything since we left, What exactly are you thinking?” he asked worried.

“its nothing” she finally said and return the costume to him.

“I cant wear this. Its childish” she said.

“childish? You love stuff like this and always wear this whenever we go to the park” he replied.

“that’s in the past” she answered.

“let’s go” she said and leaves.

“what does she mean by past?” he thought and followed after her. They ride on the roller coaster and Ferris wheels, flat ride and a lot more then they went back to prepare for the beach party.

Amy and Micheal joined them at the spa. They finished their business there and changed their hairstyles. Then they proceed to set up for the party. They also set up a camp tents, two people per tent and change their outfit to a suitable one

Maxwell came back and Sonya try to talk to him but he didn’t pay her any attention. She was really pissed off.

“he’s not even trying to explain the rumors about him and Joyce” she thought sadly.

“Sonya are you not going to join us?” Evelyn asked as they get ready to play in the water.

“am coming” she answered.

“Amy, what about you?”

“I don’t think I should” she answered.

“why not?” Evelyn said and pull her with them and ran to the sea side. They played and the guys joined them afterward.

“why don’t we get something to eat, am famished” Amy said after sometimes.

“wait, why don’t we play the sandcastle game before that. Whoever loses gets to stay in charge of the foods and snacks and also serving them” loveth suggested. Everyone agreed and get prepared. Sonya quickly went over to Maxwell’s side to pair up with him still he did not give her any face and move away from her to pair with Micheal giving Simon the opportunity to pair with her. Everyone start with loveth and Amy pairing together and Charles with Evelyn.
