They started building it but Evelyn was not getting it at all.

“that’s not how to do it” Charles said and move closer to her and held her hands.

“you do it like this” he demonstrated it for her still holding her hands. Evelyn was not concentrating on what he was doing at all but rather on his touch on her hands, she still feels aroused with his touch. She was putting on an arm less top, so she could clearly feel his breath on her from behind. She felt butterflies in her tummy and let herself devour his smell.

“were you listening to me?” Charles asked after calling her name twice.

“yes I am” she answered quickly and move away from him.

Simon and Sonya start to build theirs but Sonya was not concentrating at all. She keep looking over to Maxwell side. Simon was also in his own fantasy world and was happy he succeeded in his first plan. It was very easy to use Joyce for his plan and knowing Sonya’s behaviour and Maxwell’s jealousy, it was somehow easy to make them drift away from each other’ he thought and continue to build the sandcastle.

“Sonya, do you know have always wanted to build a castle like this for the both of us to live in. I’ve always imagine us moving in together and living happily ever after” he said with excitement. “why would I have a happily ever after life with you? You should think about that with the woman you will be getting married to” she replied.

“I don’t mean it that way. I just want to give you the best of everything,for you to live a comfortable and happy life” he said. Sonya face him and held his shoulders.

“look Simon, you’ve done a lot for me and I really appreciate it. You are my brother and you will forever be. But am old enough now to take care of myself and do things on my own. You don’t have to go a long way just to do things for me” she said.

“so you don’t want me in your life anymore?” he said with an heavy heart.

“no, you…” she saw Maxwell leave in anger and stop what she was saying and quickly followed him.

“Maxwell! Maxwell wait up” she shouted after him. Maxwell keep walking without stopping. Sonya hit her leg on something and cried out in pain. Maxwell stopped in his track and turn back to her. He wanted to run over to her but decide against it. So he said in a soft voice instead

“why are you following me?” he asked.

“where are you going to?” she also asked.

“that's non of your business” he answered and turn to leave but Sonya yank him back.

“am not done talking” she said.

“what else do you want to say?”

“what exactly are you angry about? I snapped at you because you punched him” she answered. Maxwell kept quiet.

“you know Simon is my cousin. Why would you get jealous of him? It just doesn’t make any sense” she said again.

“so your cousin hugs you like that?’ he replied.

“it was just a simple hug. It doesn’t mean anything”

“alright then” he said and turn to leave.

“is that why you are not going to explain to me about the rumors online about your engagement with Joyce” she said to stop him. “what should I explain about it?” he asked.

“You told me you break off your engagement already, so why is there news about you getting married?” she questioned angrily.

“it just happened like that” he answered nonchalantly.

“am your girlfriend I deserve am explanation” she yelled loudly. “the same explanation you use to justify another guy hugging you. She is just like a sister to me” he said and walk away. He wanted to really explain it to her but his anger wouldn’t let him.

“why didn’t she tell him she is leaving with Simon soon? She actually planned to leave without considering him” he thought and wonder if he’s even in her plan or future.

“did she even think about him and imagine him in her future. He opened his phone to check if there is still any sign of the posts about his engagement with Joyce but there was none. After he made it clear to Joyce she still went ahead to create rumors” he thought and sat down not far from the water. Sonya return to the others sadly. “what is it? Is it about the rumors online? Am sure they are all false. He would never do that” she said.

“so you don’t believe them, that's great” she said in relieve.

“then why are you looking depressed. Do you have a fight with him?” she asked.

“not really, I made a mistake and he's really angry” she answered. “if is about that, then I have a great idea" she said and whispered somethings to her. Sonya look at her in disbelieve.

“no, I don’t think that's going to work”

“just try it” she said and nodded and her assuredly.

“then why haven’t you try one of your tricks on Charles yet? Am sure you noticed him pawning over you all day" she said. Evelyn ignore her words and Sonya decide to also leave it.

"brother, Sonya is drowning” she said while trying to catch her breath. Maxwell spank up immediately from where he is sitting.

“how is that? What is she doing in the water” he asked anxiously and before Evelyn could answer him he already dash towards the water. Simon also ran to follow him but Evelyn and Amy block his way to stop him from leaving. Maxwell saw her figure in the water struggling and entered without thinking twice. He quickly bought her out and lay her down beside the water and she was already unconscious.

“Sonya, Sonya, wake up" he called and tap her furiously. He quickly bent down to perform a mouth to mouth respiration. He place his mouth on hers on blow in air. He tried it two more times. Sonya opened her eyes slowly and when he tried the third time. She opened her mouth and kissed him instead. It caught Maxwell unaware and he didn’t know what to react at first. Sonya swiftly sit up placing her hands around his neck and try to deepen the kiss. Maxwell realize what was happening and pull gently away from her. He looked at her confusedly.

“were you faking it?” he asked in annoyance. Sonya was taken aback by his tone. Maxwell move his hand away from her.

“is this funny to you?” he asked again.

“when Evelyn told him she was drowning, he felt like his heart was going to jump out through his mouth in fear and when he saw her looking helplessly in the water, he lost it. But she was just playing a prank on him” he thought angrily and wanted to stand and leave. Sonya held him back immediately.

“wait listen to me, am sorry am really sorry. But is really not what you think. I really take Simon as my cousin and brother and when I said I will be leaving with him to country Z, I don’t mean it like that” she said.

"Is that the only thing you are sorry for?” he asked. “at first, when I met you, I was drawn to your face and just like every other girl, I like you and wanted to become your girlfriend. Is not like I did not think about you in my plans for the future but i don’t just want to go in too deep because this looks like a fairy tale, a prince falling in love with a Cinderella at first sight and living happily ever after. I thought that it would be enough to just date and not get too involve with you, But now I’ve start to get greed. I want you to only love me and care for me. Get married together, have kids and live happily ever after. I cant even get you out of my head at all. You are all I think about.I know am not good with words but one thing am very sure of is that I love you Maxwell” her last sentence ring a bell in maxwell’s head.

“she just said I love you to him, This is the first time” Sonya waited anxiously for him to say something.

“Maxwell” she called. Maxwell smiled brightly at her and lower his head and enclosed her lips. He kissed her fully with excitement and hunger. Sonya trembled by the way he kissed her, It was so warm and different. She felt like this is the first time they will kiss. She slowly close her eyes indulging in the tingling sensation. Sonya open her mouth to return his kisses, Maxwell put his tongue in her mouth and devour her mouth more. His tongue felt warm and she moan. Maxwell pulled away from her lips a little.

“I love you” he said before kissing her again. This time their kiss become more intense, he kissed her hard and more deeply. They were both lost in their kisses but were suddenly interrupted by Micheal.

“why don’t you both wait till you get back to your room, this is a public place you know” he said after clearing his throat for the third time to draw their attention.
