CHAPTER 46

" You want me to fight you?...Then it's a deal" Hudson's voice thundered. Ben understood what was going on immediately.

" No.The plan is not going to work. We need to stop them, everything is going on wrongly" Polaris said to John, Blink, Eclipse and Emily who stared at Hudson and Alvara helplessly.

" Didn't you guys hear what I said, we need to abort the plan before everything else gets out of hand " Polaris yelled impatiently.

" And what the fuck do you want us to do?" Blink snapped in frustration.

" We need to stop them, don't you get it?"

" You and I know that even if all the mutants in the whole universe join hands together, we can't fight Alvara talk more of the both of them " Eclipse too snapped.

" The Fenris force is highest and strongest in the history of mutants. It's like gathering the power of all mutants, joining it together and handing it over to one person. How to do want us to stop it? " John groaned, running his hands through his hair.

" What should we do then? Stay and watch everything we've worked so hard for come to an end? Stay and watch the earth getting destroyed and Selena finally getting what she wants?" Polaris yelled as tears rolled down her cheeks.

" You should have told me so in the beginning, I would have ended my life a long time ago knowing I'll still die in the future"

" What then do you want us to do? Don't you get we're hopeless here, we can't do a thing " Blink replied, letting her tears fall too. John and Eclipse looked up, blinking repeatedly to prevent their tears from falling.

" This is not the end guys, calm down " Emily spoke up looking surprisingly calm. Everyone glared at her

" We should calm down?" Eclipse scoffed in disbelief.

" Yes. You all need to relax. I trust Hudson and I know he will be able to stop Alvara " Emily replied.

" What?" Polaris couldn't help but exclaim faintly. It was just as if Emily has gone nuts.

"What does trust have to do with the fact that we're all going to die?" She couldn't help but wonder.

" The dark force already took over Hudson, he's just like Alvara now and he just made a deal. The both are ready to fight each other, what does trust have to do with it?" John pointed out.

" Can't you see what's going on?" Polaris snapped at her.

" And I'm telling you all to calm down " Emily snapped back.

" Like I said, I trust Hudson " She added in a much calmer tone.

" This isn't about trust Emily" Blink and Eclipse half yelled impatiently at the same time.

" It is about trust guys. Hudson is ice and only him can stop Alvara. All we have to do is trust that he'll do the right thing " Emily explained.

" And I also trust my daughter. Anger and hatred might have taken over her, the dark force might have taken control over her...but I know that she still have a heart, she still have a little atom of love in and that love will win" She added confidently. What she said soothed everyone's heart and they all relaxed.

" Emily is right. We need to trust Hudson " John agreed.

" I trust him" Blink said.

" Me too" Polaris and Eclipse backed her up.

" Hudson please don't... don't fight her" Ben pleaded.

" Remember the promise you made to your Grandpa not to let history repeat itself. Everyone is going to die, please " Hudson's heart melted immediately hearing his father pleading with him. He closed his eyes and once again too control of himself. Snapping them open he exhaled deeply.

" Oh shut up, old hag" Alvara snapped and let go of Ben who fell off. Hudson quickly stretched out his hand, forming a huge pile of snow in which Ben fell into, thereby landing safely. Ben got up immediately and on seeing Blink and the rest, he ran towards them.

" Guys " He called making everyone surprised on seeing him.

" Ben? How come?" John asked.

" I don't have time to explain. What should we do, the war I was scared of my whole life is about to kick off, didn't you guys come up with any plan to stop it?" He demanded.

" Don't worry, we have a plan and it will work" Emily assured.

Looking up at Alvara,

" Are you ready?" Alvara grinned, already forming a fireball in her hand, ever ready to throw it at Hudson. She was so happy that finally Hudson agreed to fight her and she is so eager for it to start already.

" I love you Alvara " Hudson confessed making Alvara freeze in shock for a moment, her fiery eyes widened greatly.

" What?" It can out faintly as the fireball in her hand vanished.

" What did you just say?"

"I love you " Hudson repeated and Alvara's eyes only widened the more. She was still in shock, still trying to put together what Hudson just said.

" Don't you want to destroy me, despite everything I've done?" She questioned and for the first time, her voice was undeniably calm. Hudson let out a slight scoff. It was a painful one though.

" You love you Dad so much, don't you?" Alvara only blinked to his question.

" No matter what he does, can you bring yourself to kill him?" He asked again and Alvara's lips parted.

" You can't right? In the same way, no matter how much I want to fight you and kill you, I still can't cause I don't want to hurt the one girl I love " He added. What Hudson said was like a sharp arrow which aimed directly at Alvara and pierced into her heart.

" I know you're still there Alvara, I know you can hear me. But maybe the dark force has caged you...

" You can control your dark side Alvara, you just have to let go of the anger and hate you have inside of you. You just have to forgive my Dad and the Sentinels. I know what my dad did isn't justifiable but I'm sure where ever your dad is now and if he's watching us, he won't want his own daughter, his Alvara to create such a destruction. He won't want you to be the reason why the universe will come to an end and I don't want that either" Hudson explained and a strand of tears rolled his left eye but it turned into ice almost immediately.

" Look around Alvara. The war haven't even started yet but still look at everywhere " He added and for the first time Alvara listened to him and looked around. She was more than shocked seeing the destruction she created.

" No..." She mumbled in disbelief.

" I didn't do any of this, did I?"

" You didn't, the dark force did. It was only using you to get want it wants " Hudson answered her question.

" Take a look once more at everyone; Blink, Eclipse, John, my dad, your mom. We're all hoping the Alvara we know will always do the right thing " Looking at everyone a strand of fire rolled down her cheeks on seeing the hope in their eyes. Happiness ran through Hudson on seeing she was reacting.

" Alvara..."He called coming closer and held her hands not minding that has own hands were melting.

"Can you please give me an entrance into your heart?" He requested. Alvara stepped away from him before closing her eyes.

" You already have an entrance Hudson, what do you want to tell me?" She asked in her mind and surprisingly only Hudson could hear her.

" Thank you " He thanked in his mind and only Alvara could hear him.

" Selena is here " He revealed.

" What?"

" Selena is none other Madelyn, the leader of the Innercircle. She knows everything about us. She was the one who instigated the first war between our grandparents and she's trying to do the same thing to us. She wants us to fight so she can extract power from our dark force joined together and prolong her immorality " Hudson explained ( NOTE; Everything was going on in their minds, no one could hear them, not even Madelyn )

Alvara turned and looked at Madelyn. She was a little bit shocked by what she saw.

" She killed Madelyn, the formal leader of the Innercircle and is only putting on her body. I can see the real her, she is grinning evilly " She revealed to Hudson who wasn't surprised even to the slightest.

" That's the type of devil she is. She has done worse than that. Are you aware that she has been the one controlling the Sentinels this whole time?" He asked and Alvara nodded negatively.

" She is the one in charge of them but they are not even aware. It was just one of her scheme to use the Sentinels to distract every mutants so she can draft her plan really well" Hudson explained making Alvara huff glaring hatefully at Madelyn.

" Do you want her type of person to become powerful?" Hudson asked.

" Never" Alvara answered.

" Then let's do the right thing. Take control of your dark side Alvara" Hudson said

" I know you can do it just like I did and I trust you" He gingered and hearing that gave Alvara a more reason why she should listen to him.

Madelyn ( Selena) on the other hand grew impatient of the duo. She was running out of time but the duo was still busy doing whatever it is they were doing. She quickly grabbed Maverick by the neck.

" Mom, what are you doing?" Maverick shuttered, surprised.

" Shut the fuck up" Selena snapped and opening her mouth, she started sucking Maverick's soul.

" Mom... you... can't...kill me...no" Maverick yelled in despair as his face shrink. She let go of him and he dropped to the floor dead.

" Useless" Selena hissed. She exhaled deeply and snapping her eyes open, which turned bloody red.

" Enough!" She thundered making everyone, including Hudson and Alvara turn to her. And just then, her body started transforming. First her face turned and one could see her pointy nose and sharp fangs. Her finger nails and toe grew really long and sharp too. She was only putting on what was covering her private areas. And not the forget the staff which was on her hand. The truth of the matter is that, Selena was extremely beautiful and young but she had a dark aurora revolving around her.

" Enough!" She boomed again and started levitating. She stopped on getting to the same height as Hudson and Alvara.

" I've been waiting for this day for more than centuries and everytime I tried getting the Fenris Twins to fight, one thing or the other interrupts my well drafted plan. Either the two fool end not fighting or end up stupidly killing themselves without giving me what I want, but not anymore!" She roared and released a dark power from her staff which swiftly entered Hudson and Alvara making the both of them go stiff.

" Now, you two will have to listen to what and everything I say without any objections, understood?!" She commanded. Hudson and Alvara nodded in agreement.

" What's going on, how is this even possible?" Ben muttered in shock. He wasn't the only one in shock, everyone was.

" I thought the Fenris Force is the strongest power in the whole universe. Then how could Selena possibly get control of Hudson and Alvara..."
