CHAPTER 43

John, Blink and Eclipse who were at the library doing some research on how to stop the war between Hudson and Alvara, headed downstairs on hearing someone call out their name.

Their eyes widened in shock on seeing Emily, who was looking restless.

" Emily...how did you get here?" John asked as they all climbed down.

" It doesn't matter how I got here...I came here for answers" Emily snapped.

" Tell me... where is my daughter?" She asked. A scoff left her life as Blink, Eclipse and John looked down in shame.

"So it is true?" She mumbled.

" So this is true" She said pointing at the her phone with the subheading of Alvara being a serial killer. She angrily grabbed John by the collar of his shirt.

" What the fuck did you guys do to my daughter?" She yelled angrily to his face

" Tell me!"

" Emily... please calm down" Blink said and only got a hard glare from her.

" Don't you dare tell me to calm down when my daughter has been painted as a serial killer!" Emily yelled.

" I trusted her with you guys. Day and I night I couldn't help but worry how my daughter is doing but always telling myself she is safe in your hands made my heart relax...so you guys tell me what's the meaning of this?" She ranted before letting go of John's collar, running her hands through her face.

" Emily...can we just sit and talk about this whole thing?" Eclipse spoke up and Emily glared at him

" Please" He pleaded and she nodded reluctantly.

" We're...so sorry about what happened to Alvara but it was out of our control"John began.

" What happened to her? Why has she changed so much?" Emily asked.

" Her dark force is controlling her. Believe when I say...she doesn't know what she's doing" Eclipse replied and Emily frowned at him in confusion.

" What dark force are you talking about?" She asked but a gasp left her lips immediately.

" Wait...do you mean...the dark force of Fenris Force?" She asked. Blink, Eclipse and John was surprised with the fact that she knew about Fenris Force.

" You're aware?" John questioned in shock.

" Of course Alvara is my daughter... I know everything about her" Emily snapped impatiently.

" Listen... I'm aware about she and Hudson being the second generation Fenris Twins...she told me about it" She added instead in a much calmer tone.

" If that's the case...we don't have much to tell you about then" John said.

" No... you guys have a lot to tell me. Starting from the fact that I know that the dark side of the Fenris Force won't just manifest in Alvara without anything instigating it...so what happened that made her extremely angry?" Emily asked yelled.

" She found out Ben was the one who killed your husband" John replied and Emily's eyes widened in horror.

" Who the fuck told her that?!" She yelled and everyone flinch back a bit

" Wait...so it's true? Did Ben really kill your husband?" Eclipse couldn't help but ask.

"Yes... I am aware...why do you think I kept the truth from Alvara since she was a baby?...

" Alvara loves her Dad more than her own life and she can do literally anything for him...so who told her that the Sentinels were behind his death?" Emily asked.

" We seriously don't know how she figured out. She just suddenly attacked Ben" John replied.

" Where is Ben?"

" He's in coma" Blink replied.

" What?!" Emily eyes widened in horror.

" Alvara almost killed him and he ended up in coma instead"

Emily ran her hands through her hair as tears rolled down her face.

" God what's happening?" She muttered trying to fight back her tears which failed her.

" What am I going to do now?" Blink pulled her to a hug immediately and Emily hugged back letting her eyes fall freely.

" My daughter is in so much pain that she's letting her anger control her... what do I do?" She cried even the more as Blink pat her back.

" It's ok Emily... we'll figure a way out... please stop crying" She assured, patting her back.

John and Eclipse only let out a sad sigh watching Emily cry.

After crying to her satisfaction, Emily pulled out from the hug, sniffing as she wiped her tears.

" I'm sorry Blink, I didn't..."

" It's ok" Blink smiled at her making Emily chuckle lightly despite the tears in her eyes.

" So...what do you guys planning to do about Alvara?" She asked.

" Right now, the dark side of fire and ice had manifested in both Hudson and Alvara... which means the war is about to repeat itself... we're only trying as much possible to make sure the two don't cross part with each other while trying to figure a way to stop the war from happening" John explained.

" You can't stop the war from happening" Emily's words caught everyone off guard.

" What do you mean?" Blink couldn't help but ask.

" The war can't be averted" Emily answered.

" Hudson and Alvara are like Nemesis Reborn. Them possessing the Fenris Force...this war must happen"

" We don't understand what you're saying Emily" John said in confusion.

" After Alvara told me about her and Hudson, I had to do a lot of research about the Fenris Force and I found out something very important;

" The only reason the X-Men gave Hunter and Hayden the Fenris Force was for them to join hand together and destroy, mutants number one and most dangerous enemy... Selena..." Emily began.

" But Selena used it against them for her own selfish gain. She manipulated Hunter and Hayden to fight against themselves, thereby trying to destroy the Fenris Force after using it to make herself more powerful...but her plan didn't work...

" The X-Men gave Hudson and Alvara the same Force so they can fight Selena, who is still alive. And for that to happen...they war will have to set off..

" But who is Selena now?" Eclipse asked.

" I don't know. We can know find out after the war begin. She will definitely show herself when the war kick off" Emily replied.

" So since we can't stop the war... what are we gonna do then?"

" Alvara wants to fight Hudson... not Selena. What happened to Hayden and Hunter is about to happen again" Blink implied.

" Since Alvara is fire and Hudson is ice... only Hudson can stop Alvara" Emily replied.

" But Alvara wants to kill him.. how will he be able to stop her without getting killed?" John scoffed.

" Hudson will have to stop her. Their love will be only thing to stop this war. If Hudson try talking to Alvara... he might convince her"

" But the two hate each other what does love have to do with this?" Eclipse asked, confused.

" Hudson loves Alvara...that I know cause I can see it in his eyes whenever he looks at Alvara" Blink chimed in.

" I've been studying the both of them for sometime now. They love each other but doesn't want to admit it...

" Blink are you sure about this...

" Yes...I love Alvara" A voice replied, prompting them all to turn to the direction where the voice came from. Their eyes widened on seeing Hudson who approached.

" Hudson... you're back" John chuckled happily and Hudson smiled at him.

" Hudson...what you just said...

" I love Alvara and that's why I don't want to fight her. I'll do anything possible to have her old self back" Hudson replied and happiness ran through everyone.

" That's so relieving to hear" Eclipse heaved.

" But does Alvara feel the same?" John asked.

" I don't know" Was all Hudson could say.

" All I know is that I love her and want the both of us the fight the main enemy, Selena" He added.

" But how can we fight who we don't know?" Eclipse asked and a smirk formed in Hudson's lips. Bringing out a scroll, he passed it over to Eclipse who glared suspiciously at him before taking it from him.

" I found this scroll at Professor's Xavier's layer" Hudson said as Eclipse opened the scroll.

Eclipse's eyes widened in shock on seeing the drawing on the scroll.

" Madelyn?!" He yelled in shock

" Yes Eclipse...Madelyn is Selena..."
