"What about you Peter, have you been seeing it too?" Elena asked as he shrugged.

"Maybe I wasn't paying attention to take notice of this I guess," he said with a shrug.

"Who the hell is Bonnie?!" Alex muttered to himself.

They stayed there till the closing bell was rung.

*. *. *. *

They were outside the school premises with their bags as they met Nicholas talking to Bonnie.

"It's on Saturday, you can't miss my birthday right?" He asked as she smiled.

"Yh, sure thing. I promise" Bonnie replied.

"Pinky promise?' He asked sticking out his pinky finger as they both crossed fingers.

"Pinky promise," she said as he smiled.

"Hope to see you there," he said running to meet his mom.

"Does a pinky promise still works?' Alex said interrupting her who was waving at Nicholas.

"I don't know, the kid thinks it does," she said with a shrug.

"That kid you just called a kid is way older than you," Alex said as she shrugged.

"And why didn't Fay come to pick you?' Peter asked as she smiled running to go hug him.

"She's sick. Aunt Analice called" she said.

"I better call her," Alex said bringing his phone out.

"Bonnie, what you told us about the universe, synchronicity, and numerology is real," Elena said with her eyes almost popping out as she squatted before her.

"Oh really?" She replied nonchalantly.

"Her line's nothing through, guess I'll pay her a visit" Alex muttered to himself as he placed his phone back in his pocket.

"Bonnie, have you been seeing signs too?" Peter asked her as she looked up at him.

"Wel--" she stopped and looked at Elena.

"ELENA... "

The voice whispered her name as she held her ears and screamed.

"Stop calling me!' She yelled as she fell to the ground and passed out.

"Elena!" her friends called her name as they squatted beside her.

*. *.

She slowly opened her eyes as she rubbed them on the back of her palm. She removed the wet towel that was placed on her forehead as she struggled to sit up.

"Guys, she is awake!" Bonnie yelled as Elena looked around the room.

"Am I in Peter's room?" She asked looking around the room seeing Peter's pictures plastered on the walls.

"Nope, you're in mine," she said with a smile as Alex, Laura and Peter ran to the room.

"How are you feeling now?"

"Are you feeling better?"

"Does your head still hurts?"

"Should I bring ice?"

"Are you hungry? I can make your grilled cheese, your favorite "

They bombarded her with questions as she didn't know which to answer first.

"I'm fine, I'm fine, I'm fine," She said getting out of the bed.

"I think you need to rest. Don't push it" Laura said as she smiled and sat on the bed.

"I'm fine," She said looking at her friends as she wondered how her stars blessed her with such caring friends.

"I'm ok," she said touching her head.

"Here, take this" Bonnie said handling her two tablets of aspirin and a glass of water.

"Thanks," she said swallowing it as Bonnie took the glass from her.

"So, what happened?" Alex asked sitting beside her now.

"It's that same voice. It kept calling my name. I don't know why, it's just freaking me out" Elena said.

"How does this strange voice sounds like?" Peter asked.

"I don't know. I can't tell" Elena said shaking her head sideways while facing the floor.

"What should we do about this? What if we confront the voice?" Peter asked as they gave Elena a quizzical look.

"No no no, I can't do that. I'm too scared" Elena said looking at them with teary eyes.

"What if we pay grandpa Ethan a visit? Maybe he might tell us about the strange voices and things we might wanna ask too" Alex brought up the topic.

But the truth was that what he wanted to ask Grandpa Ethan was about who Bonnie was because he had started doubting if she was 9 years old. If he wasn't there when she was born, he would have sworn that Bonnie was 9. (This story is written by Naomi Innocent)

"I don't think that's a nice ide--"

"I think it's perfect. Grandma would love us to come around. I'll call her tonight and her we would be coming over tomorrow" Laura said smiling.

"We're skipping school tomorrow?" Elena asked with raised brows.

"Sure! I've always wanted to skip school" Peter said.

"Can I come along too?" Bonnie asked smiling as they became scared Alex would kick against it.

"Yh sure, you're most welcome and I'm sure you're gonna love grandma's meatloaves too," Alex said with a smirk on his face as Bonnie smiled too.

"Oh my God," Elena said unbelievably.

THE NEXT DAY

The Freaks waited at the bus stop alongside other passengers that wanted to travel too.

The bus stopped by as the people inside alighted, the Freaks, and other passengers entered as the bus drove off.

"I'm so excited," Bonnie said looking outside through the window.

"Yh me too," Alex said looking outside.

(Because I'm gonna finally know who you are) he thought.

They stopped at Bloomspring's bus stop, they were the last passengers. They alighted after paying the fare.

Walking inside Bloomspring, it was easy for them to trace the house because they've been there before.

Laura knocked on the door of the old house and waited for a while.

Edward opened the door to the amazement of everyone.

"What are you doing here?" Laura asked.

"I should be asking you that" He replied still in bewilderment.

"Hi, Edward" Elena said to him.

"Oh hi, come on in," he said smiling at Elena as they all walked inside the house after which he closed the door behind them.

"Grandma!" Laura called racing to meet her.

"Oh, my child" she replied as she hugged her.

"I came with my friends again," She said excitedly.

"Hi Grandma," They all said except Bonnie who was observing the house.

"You've been here before with them?" Edward asked sitting on a wooden chair.

"Oh, bless you, my children. Forgive me I've forgotten your names" She said hugging them all.

"This is Elena, Alex, Peter, and Little Bonnie. Forgive grandma, she forgets things easily" Laura apologized.

"Must you add little to my name?" Bonnie asked rolling her eyes as grandma laughed.

"Wow, they brought a beautiful angel with them," Grandma said picking Bonnie up.

"Awwn, Laura, I think I love your grandma already," Bonnie said hugging grandma.

"Yh that's cool. You guys can be making meatloaves. We are gonna say hi to grandpa" Alex said dragging his friends as they left.

"Edward! Stop drinking your grandpa's liquor!" Grandma scolded as Bonnie giggled.

The Freaks walked to Grandpa's room and met him on his particular chair still putting on sunglasses.

"Nice to meet you guys again," grandpa said and they weren't perturbed because they were used to his weird ways already.

"Seems you brought someone with you too," he said and smiled as the freaks exchanged glances.

"Yes Grandpa, I wanted to ask some questions about her. She is my kid sister, just 9 years old and she behaves strangely" Alex said.

"Not strangely but awesome" Peter added.

"Yh, whatever" Alex said as grandpa chuckled.

"What's her name?" Grandpa asked.

"Bonnie," He said

"Get me something that belongs to her" grandpa said as Peter nodded and raced to the parlor.

"Here, this lipstick belongs to her. Peter bought it for her" Alex said giving the lipstick to grandpa who took it and sniffed.

He forgot the lipstick was with him and wouldn't have allowed Peter to go meet her.

"I don't perceive Bonnie here. All I see is Charlotte" grandpa said.

"Oh My--, No way!" Alex said half yelling as he began to sweat.

"Alex, who is Charlotte?" Elena and Laura asked simultaneously.

"Alex, are you ok?" Elena further interrogated.

"Charlotte Bennett is my mom... " He stopped talking as his lips trembled and his mouth became too heavy.
