Laura's Point Of View

"Laura. Laura!" A hand slighty grazed over my face.

"Huh?" I shook my head in confusion.

"We are about to go into the gym and you just froze," Nelly spoke.

Oh! It was just my imaginations. Remember what happened the first day I introduced myself in the orphanage that's what just happened.

I'm so happy that it isn't real. Gabriel is still with me and so are my friends.

I looked at my friends staring at me, worry written boldly on their faces.

"I am fine," I held myself from running into their arms including Gabriel's.

"Come on," he dragged me. "We are going to be late now," I blurted and our friends trailed behind us.

He held me close and looked around, probably for Cody..... Is it me or does it feel familiar like in my trance. I don't want it to end like that, I have to change my answer.

And even if I say yes, I don't think that Gabriel or my friends will ever leave me, but yet again the thought of Tammy and Patricia put some doubts in me.

We walked over into the court and the first person we saw was coach... Again this is so familiar.

I know she's gonna ask me about my decision and I don't know what to say.

It will be great playing against or with Gabriel, so that I can annoy him a little, that is if I join!

If I don't I'll have time to my fri..... Actually I won't, Emma is a science student and she doesn't follow us around that much, Nelly and Harper both are signing up for volleyball meanwhile Gabriel, max and Ricky would be playing basketball so I will be alone.

Again, not everyone have this opportunity like this and I got it without sweat, I would be taking things for granted if I decline.

It's an opportunity to learn something new.

"Laura, have you thought about your decision?" She asked and I nodded, not wanting a long conversation.

"I would love to join, I'm willing to learn how to play," I stated simply and she smiled.

"That's great," she shrieked. "Gabriel over here will be your tutor. I hope you two get along very well."

"There's no need for that since she's my girlfriend," he smiled and held me close. Everyone gasped including our coach but she was putting on a smile.

My cheeks heated up and I bowed my head, feeling shy of the attentions I was having.

In my trance, I received curses from everyone, a break up from Gabriel which brought tears to my eyes. But, now, I'm receiving cheers from everyone, love from Gabriel which brings a blush on my cheeks. Everything reversed.

She gave me a uniform which consisted of a short blue spandex and a white T-shirt. Gabriel led me to the locker room and I went to the locker assigned to me.

"Leave! I need to change," I huffed, when I noticed Gabriel lingering about..

"And what about that?" He asked naively and I glared at him.

"Alright, alright I'm going," he raised his hands in surrender and quickly scrambled out. I quickly changed and went outside to the court.

"Alright since you are new, we are going to start from basic tactics," coach said and I nodded while Gabriel winked at me.

The court was a bit empty, the only people around were the players, coach and some other people who lingered around.

"In our next class, you are playing with the females only but now, you are playing with both genders," she said and I sighed.

Me, max, a girl with a blond hair, Gabriel and Ricky were up against, a dark haired girl, Cody, two brunettes and a hazel haired boy.

"Coach I want Gabriel out of my team," I stated and Gabriel shot a confused look my way.

"Why is that?" Coach asked totally confused.

"I would love our team to be full of more females and it wouldn't be fair if almost all the best players in this team " I explained and coach nodded.

"You are right. Gabriel, do you mind changing teams " Gabriel groaned because he knew that he can't protest and win.

"But I'm her tutor!" he retorted and I chuckled.

"Can't my tutor be in a different team so that he can teach me some skills," I stated and he frowned defeated.

He walked to me and quickly whispered, "I know what you I trying to do and you won't win."

I gasped, he really does know me well.

"It's gonna work," I giggled. "And you can watch Cody from there."

"Okay, then let's keep this aside and practice shooting, dribbling and passing for today," she said and I groaned. I was really hoping to beating Gabriel.

"Choose a partner," she clapped and Gabriel was already at my side.

The rest of the class we practiced, and Gabriel and I flirted a little.

After class we all went back to the locker room to change. When I got to my locker, changed back to my uniform. I waited for Gabriel and the guys and we went back to the class together.

We got in and sat down. I didn't have a minute of rest, Nelly just dragged me up and I groaned.

"I have to fill you in the details," she said and Harper gasped.

"I need to rest a little," I groaned. "And you will, but hear us out first," Harper said and I nodded tiredly.

"Guess what-"

"Just get straight to the point," I pushed and they rolled their eyes.

"You are no fun," they pouted. "Whatever," I smiled.

"Anywho, something happened today," she grinned. "You know Fransicesca right? Well, she had an accident. She fell from the stairs and broke one of her arms and legs " I gasped.

"How is that a good news," I frowned. "Okay I guess it's not, but I think I know who pushed her. It's Rachel she wants Fransicesca fame and minors to herself," she replied.

"I still don't think it's a good new," I retorted.

"I never said it was a good new," she snapped and I giggled, I deep voice chuckled and I turned.

"I never knew that you eavesdropped," I smirked.

"At desperate times, you'll do many things," he said and I rolled my eyes.

This isn't a desperate time or anything, I don't know what he's saying.

Harper and Nelly dragged me back to face them.

"What? I thought that it was over," I groaned.

"Rachel is a smart bitch but we are smarter," Harper smirked.

"Language please," I replied. "Don't tell me that you have never said bitch in your life," she retorted.

"I have," I sighed defeated. "Speak of the devil and it shall appear," Nelly leaned to us, signaling the door.

Rachel walked in with four girls, she was in between them. She glared at me and smiled at Gabriel which angered me, before she sat down.

I peeled my eyes from her "Where will they sit," I asked.

"In their normal sit dumdum," Nelly said in a duh tone.

I gasped and slapped her head.

"Ouch! What was that for?" She asked childishly.

"For calling me a dumdum," I said and she rolled her eyes.

"I just stated the obvious," she replied and I glared at her, then went back to staring at Rachel.

"When did the accident happen " I almost whispered, not wanting the two face bitch to hear.

Oh! I just said bitch.

"Now you want to know," harper smirked and I sighed.

School was over, I said some goodbyes and I got into the car and frank drove off.

The surprise that was not-so-hidden in the house made me almost scream when I saw it or her...

"Katherine, thank goodness," I morphed between a hug.

"Yeah, I am here alright " she replied. I could feel her smile from behind me.

I know it's not much of a surprise but, I've gotten so close to these people so, she finally coming back to the house is exciting.

I changed my clothes after a quick bath and walked out of the room towards or Howard's office. You might be wondering why I'm going there, well.... That's for another day.

I knocked softly on the door. "Come in," his voice sounded through the door.

I turned the door knob and walled in, closing the door behind me.

"Oh Laura, take a seat and let's discuss. What exactly do you want to tell me?" He moved his eyes from the paperwork before him.

I sat down comfortably and sighed, "It's something really important," I started.
