*Laura Point Of View*

I woke up the next day and got ready for my morning chores. I totally forgot that Anne left that I went to knock on her door for laundry. When I got no reply, I remembered that she left.

I sighed deeply and went on with my work. As usually, Fred took me to school but it was after I checked on Katherine. And guess what? She's gonna be discharged today.

"Hey gir--- ladies," I smiled when I saw my friends seated. Everyone except Gabriel was there.

"Hi Max, Ricky," I turned to each of them and they smiled.

"How was your night?" I asked and dropped my bag and collapsed on my seat. "Bad, I had a horrible dream and when I woke up I couldn't sleep again," Harper pouted and I gasped dramatically.

"That's so bad," I tilted my head and she rolled her eyes. "What about you Nelly," I called and she sighed.

"I actually went to my uncle's house yesterday and came back late in the night " Nelly yawned. "I didn't have enough sleep."

Oh, I wish I could help her, I wish that so much but what can I do?

What can I do?

"Dude we have been waiting for how long now," Ricky whined behind me and we turned to him with confused looks.

"Yeah I've been busy," a smile crossed my face. "Gabriel!" I shrieked, almost falling from my seat. He just stared at me and walked to his seat.

Oh! I forgot that we are not in good terms right now.

"Gabe, can we talk," I turned to him. "I'm busy," he simply said.

"But you aren't doing anythingz" I stared down at his deserted desk. "Even your--"

"Will you just leave me alone," he almost yelled as he banged his desk and I flinched. "I'm sorry," I whispered, feeling horrible as I turned back.

Through out that morning, my head was buried on the desk. If any teacher asked what was wrong Nelly would tell them that I wasn't feeling well, which was a bit true.

"It's break " someone patted me and I groaned. The voice is muffle and I don't want to stress my ears.

"Come on " I recognized this one as Nelly. "I am sleeping " I pointed out. "But you just spoke," she said as if she was stating the obvious.

"Please, we need to eat and sustain energy. We have gym class today," I sprang up from my seat when I heard that. I haven't even decided if I'll join the female basketball team or not.

"This is horrible " I pouted with frustration. "Let's get some food first," Harper stated and they dragged me out of the class.

"Wait!" I stopped them, "I need to wash my face" I stated and they sighed. "Okay be fast, if you take too long we'll come and check if you have been locked in a bathroom again," Harper said.

"If that is your way of telling me to keep an eye open then I thank you. I'll try to avoid them at all cost," I seized and walked away.

"We'll be at our usually table," they yelled behind me and I nodded. I'm not sure they saw that.

Anyway, I walked to the restroom carefully and hastily. I don't want to have that experience twice.

I quickly washed my face and walked out only to bump into someone. "Ouch! You stepped on my toe! That hurt " that sounds like Tammy.

"I am sorry " I apologized, she hissed and forcefully pushed past me.

That was rude. She was so nice back then.... Whatever, I shouldn't make myself feel bad.

I sighed and finally walked out. Now to meet my friends, I just hope that Gabriel would be there so I'll have a chance to apologize.

"Laura " my name echoed in the hallway. "It's Cody " he stated before I turned. Thank goodness. I taught I was in trouble.

"Hey Cody " I smiled at him, when our eyes met. "Hey, I haven't seen you for a while," he shrugged and I sighed.

"I guess we never crossed parts " I also shrugged. "Yeah. I heard what happened to you in the bathroom," he said and I gasped.

"Does everyone know?" I panicked. "No, no. I overheard Ricky and Max talking about it " he stated and I breathed out.

"That was close " I sighed. "Anyway, I came to ask you two questions " he stated. "Spill them " I forced and he smiled.

"Firstly, would you be on the basketball team. We have gym class today and I really want you to be among us," he said and I bit my lip.

"I don't know," I simply shrugged. "Please think about it. I really hope you consider," he stated and I nodded.

"Okay, the next one," I rushed, knowing fully well that the girls will soon come find me.

"Um, I wanted....well, um," he stuttered. "I really have to go Cody " I stated and he sighed.

"Do you mind going on a date with me," he stared at me, "I mean it'll be just me and you hanging out nothing more, not that it means anything," I smiled at his nervousness.

Now how will I tell him that I'm dating gab-

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but she's already taken," that's Gabriel? What is he....how did he... What?

"Gabriel," Cody spoke through his gritted teeth. They really don't like each other. Gabriel walked closer to me and wrapped his hands around me, pulling me close.

Cody's eyes trailed to me, "is that true?" He asked. "Yeah, he's my boyfriend " I answered. I never knew that he--

"I think you should be atleast a 100 feet away from my girlfriend, irrespective of us having gym class together," Gabriel smirked.

"Understood?" Gabe wriggled. "Understood," Cody spoke back angrily and walked away.

Gabriel removed his hands and pulled away, I felt empty. I thought that we broke up but he just made me doubt that.

I hugged from from behind and rested my head on his left shoulder. "Gabriel " I whispered and he stopped moving, his eyes fixed up. "I am sorry for how I reacted yesterday, please forgive me. I know that I'm a burden in this relationship and I hate it," I breathed.

"I acted stupidly and callously. I was not in a frame of mind, the thoughts of Katherine in the hospital haunted me," I stated unaware of the tears that flowed down my cheeks.

"Why are you crying and what happened to Katherine " he almost yelled as he placed me in front of him. I felt a bit jealous that he's worried about kat and also happy that he's caring for me.

"You know that I hate seeing you cry," he wiped my tears with his thumb. "Katherine had an accident, she got angry because her boyfriend dumped her and she ended up hurting herself " I explained.

"We stayed in the hospital and weren't allowed to see her. I only came to school because of the project, I was devastated that's why I acted that way. I am sorry," I sobbed.

"I should be the one apologizing. I got jealous, thinking that you were with Luke while it was the opposite " he stated.

"You always get jealous " we shared a brief laugh. "You don't have to worry about Luke. He's getting married on Sunday, Annie's mom, the queen came yesterday so she went to choose her wedding gowns and left " I said.

"Wow! Things happen so fast," he exclaimed and I shrugged. "I'm sure that I'll attend so I want to invite you," I said and he smiled.

"I don't think Luke will like that," he said. "What? Luke will, as long as you're my boyfriend. He even knew you before we started dating and he liked you then, I think. And besides you are a friend of Anne," I shrugged and he nodded.

"Yeah, you are right" he smiled. "We should get going or I'm not going to eat lunch today," I whined as we walked to the cafeteria.

"Remember 100 feet," he said and I stared at him before rolling my eyes. Jealous!

We sighted our friends on our usually table and we approached them. "I told you that she would be with Gabriel, didn't I?" Nelly rolled her eyes.

"You've made up, that's good," Emma smiled as I digged into my food that Nelly passed to me.

The bell rang a few minutes later and we all rushed to the....Gym.....

Gabriel was on the look out for Cody as he held me closer. I only laughed at his actions. He's so... Possessive and it's cute.

The first person we saw was coach..... Is it bad that I forgot her name?

Well, it was the basketball coach. Am stuck wondering if its only basketball that we will learn. I quickly moved away from Gabriel and almost walked away.

Again 'almost'

"Laura!" She called and I sighed, turning to her slowly. "Have you thought about your decision?"

I hesitated before speaking. "I don't think that....I can do it" I stuttered. "What do you mean by that?" She asked angrily as she walked to me.

Oh no, I'm in trouble.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean-"

"You are sorry?" She stood in front of me. "I am really..." I tried to say.

"You are filthy orphan. I don't even know what made me think you would fit as a player. I could have listened to Patricia!" she hissed and I froze. That was scary.

"Coach you are..." Gabriel was trying to say. "Don't support her " she shrieked.

"What? I would never support her. She is just naive and callous like she said. I am only in this relationship with her because she's beautiful nothing else," Gabriel spat and I gasped.

"You should break up with her!" Nelly yelled and the girls supported her, I froze. These are my friends, he is my boyfriend.

"Now you see why we treat her the way we do," Rachel laughed and they all followed her to laugh at me.

Gabriel smirked and walked closer to me. He leaned closer and whispered, "We're done," and i froze, my mouth was opened like a fish who needed water, "Close your mouth," he used his finger to lift my jaw and just like that he was gone.

He walked over to Tammy and gave her a passionate kiss. "Be my girlfriend," he said. "I would love that," she smiled.

The world hates me, I just lost my friends and my boyfriend.

What world?

"I think I'll have you too," he winked at Rachel and she blushed. How cruel. Tears flowed freely down my cheeks.

I have cried two times today just in the name of Gabriel. He never loved me, no one will ever love me, even my friends.
