Okay then I'll just read before going to bed..

I picked up my books and suddenly the door opened and Nelly walked in looking tired and shocked when she saw me.

"What are you doing here, and you're on my roommate's bed she kinda grumpy and- "

"Actually I am your roommate now."

"Impossible, that's her bed."

"The girls asked for a new roommate and Miss Malika agreed to it, so here I am."

"Oh, sorry about that."

"Nah, it's fine, I love the room, most especially the colour and decoration," I shrugged.

"Yeah I know."

"Did you bring something back?" One of girls asked as they came close to us.

"Nope not today, I am sorry Emma," Nelly said.

Hmm.

Emma!

"This place is just boring," The other said.

"I agree," Nelly smiled as she went to her bed and the other girls surrounded me.

"Sorry we didn't introduce ourselves early but we just had to test you first," Emma said.

"What test"

"If we tell you, it won't be a test anymore."

"I am Harper by name."

"And I am Emma.. "

"I'm Laura, it's always cool to meet new friends," I smiled and they nodded.

"What exactly do you do Nelly?" I asked as I turned to her.

"Well, I have a job."

"That's cool, but what's the job."

"I am kidding, I just visit a relative of mine almost everyday."

"You have a relative?"

"Yeah, but more like relatives," She grimaced.

"Why didn't they take you in?"

"They don't want to, you can't just force people to adopt an orphan."

"But they are your family "

"I don't think they like me and they said that they aren't ready for another kid," She said, her lips were still holding the grimace.

"Ooh, I am sorry about that."

"It's okay, I just go there to try my luck each day."

"Okay, that's enough. I have having brain aches," Emma yelled.

What?

"Laura, I heard that you kissed Gabriel," Harper said.

"I mean he kissed you,"She added and I nodded.

"For some awkward reason, I am asking you how it felt," She said.

"Okay?" I said confused.

"Like how did it feel, were you nervous?" Emma asked, leaning in to listen.

"I kinda froze," I said.

"Wow, do you like him," She asked.

I could see how excited she got as she waited for an answer.

"What?... No way," I said and slowly a smile crept onto my lips.

"Why are you smiling then?" Nelly winked and I glared at her.

"Ooh, you like him..I mean who wouldn't," Emma smiled and Harper nodded.

"Can we talk about this tomorrow, am kinda tired," I yawned and stretched up my arms.

"Yeah, we'll get the truth out of ya tomorrow," They laughed and Nelly winked again.

"Okay that's just creepy," I said and used the duvet to cover my body as they all went to their beds.

I have new friends..

I don't want things to turn out like before but for some reason my gut tells me it won't.

Few days Later...

Sandra Pov

It has been a while since the princess started living with us and I have been trying to teach her some things before I go...

And yeah, I am gonna be leaving so that Luke and princess Anne's romance can grow.

As I'm here with them, I am getting in the way, even though I don't want to.

But it's for the best..

Right now, I am teaching Anne how to cook and FYI she's awesomely wretched at it..

Yeah I just said that.

Do you know how many times she has smoked the whole house.

It's just no use, she's a princess.

And they don't do this kind of stuffs...

How quaint.

The best thing is to find a maid, cause I'll be leaving soon.

"Mr Howard," I called as I stood close to door of his study.

"Yes dear, come in," He said and I slowly walked in and sat down.

He was handling some paper work.

"So what is it?" He asked.

"I told you before that I'll be leaving soon," I said.

"Yes and you said you'll teach Anne some things before you go," He said.

"Actually I give up, she's unteachable," I sighed.

"First time I've ever seen you given up before," He said.

"What?"

"I know this is hard for you but you can't just give up."

"I know, but please just find someone else I'll teach that will learn faster."

"I will see what I can do"

"Thanks sir."

At least I'll be gone soon so that they can have their privacy.

I don't mean me gone as in dead..

I gotta keep trying to teach her, she might come up before the new maid comes.

Laura pov

"No, stop it," I yelled and laughed as Gabriel continued tickling me to a painful death.

"It tickles," I laughed between my words.

"Stop, stop, stop, stop!" I yelled and pushed him on the ground.

"Okay that hurts," He groaned.

"Good but don't ever tickle me like that again."

"Understood," He saluted and we laughed.

Ohh!!

I just got so close to Gabriel in a couple of days.

"I gotta go Gab," I said and he frowned.

"Oh, you let Laura call you Gab, but you will cut off our heads if we do," Max said.

"can't you see that she's his girl so she can call him whatever she wants and he won't do anything about it," Ricky said and I smiled.

Ok why am I smiling..

Did he just calk me 'his girl?'

"I am not anybody's girl," I argued.

"I hear you," Ricky said and threw a pillow at him and he fell to the ground and we laughed

I didn't know I threw that hard.

"Oh you're on! rricky said as he stood up and and was about to throw the pillow at me but instead received a pillow in his face.

I turned to see where it came from and Gabriel winked at me.

It's definitely him..

"Good job," I said as we high fived.

"Pillow fight!!" Max yelled and they started throwing pillow at us but I hid behind Gabriel.

He's my guide alright!

I also joined the fight but I didn't do much.

"You won't win, we will defeat you," Ricky said dramatically and I rolled my eyes.

"We'll see " I said and carried a pillow from their roommates bed and whacked the boys.

And they were all screaming my name while Gabriel was laughing..

Suddenly they turned on me, whacking me all over and I fell on Cody's bed..

Just so you know, Cody are the guys roomie and they don't get along that well but I get along with him perfectly..

Okay enough of the talks, am being whacked here and Gabriel is whacking me too..

The door opened and Cody walked inside and the boys retreated back to their beds while Gabriel helped me up..

"I am sorry Cody, it was totally my fault," I said staring at his bed that was neatly arranged but now evenly scattered.

"It's okay, I'll get it done," He smiled and I turned to see Gabriel frowning.

Okay??

"No, I insist," I said as I re-arranged the bed.

"All done," I smiled.

"Thanks but I am not staying, I just needed to take this," He said waving a book in his hand.

"Oh," I nodded.

"Thanks," He said again but this time with a hug.

I know Gabriel is staring right now.

"Maybe, we'll can study together, I really need a hand in English and Math," He smiled.

"Yeah, maybe in school," I said.

"Okay then, see you," He said and walked out.

"What was that about guys," I said turning to Gabriel.

"You tell me," Gabriel said angrily.

"Okay, why the sudden change of mood?" I asked.

"Well because you helped him out and he just hugged you, for no reason and that's absurd," He said.

"What do you mean? It was just a hug," I said.

"You're been absurd," He said.

"What? I am not been absurd," I yelled.

"Maybe you are," He yelled and I huffed and walked out.

He's so annoying sometimes.

I just want to squeeze his head.

I walked back to my room and angrily jumped on my bed, ignoring everybody.

"What's up with you," Emma said but I didn't respond.

"Okay, why are you angry," Harper said but I didn't talk.

"Why don't we go to the spa today," Nelly said and I turned.

"I've never been to the spa before," I smiled.

"I thought that you weren't talking to us," Harper said.

"I'm sorry, I was angry but now I am over it," I said.

I think...

"Let me guess, Gabriel has something to do with it," Emma said smiling weirdly.

"Yea," I nodded.

"You seem to be hanging out with him a lot, are you sure that you're not falling for him?" Nelly asked.

"What? No! I've told you for the hundredth time, me and Gabriel are just friends," I said.

"Ok, whatever you say," Harper said and they gave each other a look.

"Okay, what was that about?" I asked.

"We just can't wait to go to the spa," She said.

"We better go now I can't wait," Nelly shrieked.

"Yeah yeah, we know," Emma said and we walked out of the room.

I was staring at the rooms and the corners we passed just to make sure I remember next time when I want to go to the spa.

"I would love to see it," I said.

"We're here," They smiled.

Something about their smile is strange.

They are definitely hiding something.

"Spill the it!" i said folding my arms.

"What's that suppose to mean," Nelly smirked.

"What are you guys up to," I said.

"Eww, we aren't guys we're girls," They said and I rolled my eyes.

Whatever!!

"Apart from that you're up to something," I said.

"Something that's up always comes down at some point, so if we're up to something you'll see it and we will tell you," Harper smiled.

Definitely up to something.

Oh, If only they were the types that can't keep a secret.

We reached a big door and they opened it, smiling like sheep.

I think that they hit their heads somewhere.

So many people where inside, most especially girls.

"Some girls take too long in here just to admire Gabriel," Harper said.

What does that have to do with me.

And why will Gabriel come to a spa.

He's a guy.

"What will he be doing in a spa," I said as we walked into the spa.

"Well you have to ask him yourself," Nelly said.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked confused.

"He's right there," Emma said and I turned looking left and right, my eyes feel on someone and I felt kinda weird.

He was looking at me strangely and that scared me.

Wait, isn't that Gabriel, I didn't recognize him.

Stupid me..

"Hey, Laura," I heard and I turned to see Cody.

"Oh hi, what are you doing here?" I asked as I tucked my hair behind my ears.

"The same reason you are here," He said and I smiled but we were rudely interrupted by Nelly's annoying coughing.

"Can I get you a glass of water?" i smiled but secretly glared at her.

"Hello, Laura won't you introduce me to your friend," Nelly said and Cody smiled.

"My bad, Cody meet Emma, Harper and Nelly, my friends," I said.

"Pleasure to meet you ladies," He said and Emma blushed.

I'm rolling my eyes right now!

"Where did you find a guy that is hot, smart and appreciate what he sees," Nelly winked and I rolled my eyes.

"We should go take a seat," He said and that's the only thing I heard again.

Because I got distracted looking at Tammy and Maddy with Patricia but Christy wasn't with them.

Can this day get any worst!

I guess what?

It just did, because Rachel just entered and is going to meet Gabriel right now.

I should stop saying that!

"Earth to Laura!" Nelly snapped her fingers at me and they all stared at me.

I didn't know that I had been staring at Gabriel till now.

"We better go now," I said and dragged them to empty seats far away from my rivals.

Yeah, rivals is a good word to call them.

"I just love this colour," I said staring at my fingers and toes.

"You didn't even do anything to them," Nelly said.

"It's white," I snarled and she rolled her eyes.

"You so love white," Cody smiled.

"Yeah who wouldn't," I said.

"Me!!" Harper said and I rolled my eyes.

I looked at Gabriel and he was with Rachel and his friends.

The look on his face shows that he's tired.

I wish she'll just bore him yourself death.

He turned tiredly to my direction and immediately he's eyes fell on me, I couldn't look away.

Something didn't want me to, or something was on his face that made me stare like that or don't really know.

What type of feeling is this?

Someone please save me from him.

"What are you staring at?" I heard and I flinched.

It was only Cody.

But that kinda tickles.

Am not in the mood right now for talks.

"It's nothing, I think we should go now," I said as I stood up.

"Oh, I was thinking of doing my hair," Emma pouted.

"Your hair is perfect Emma," I said.

"Thanks but that's not gonna do my hair," She said and I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you rushing anyway, the spa is more comfy than our rooms," Nelly said.

"I think my bed is more comfy," I said as I stood up.

"That's for you but not for us," Emma said.

"Everybody your attention are needed in the hall," Someone said and we all turned to see Miss Malika.

Sometimes I wonder if she's the only one here.

"Now see what you've caused," Harper huffed and I chuckled.

Now we can leave I am so happy.

"Let's go, I want the five of us to sit together," Cody said and I nodded as we all walked to the big hall.

I was surprised when I saw Mr Howard there.

"But today is Saturday so what is he doing here," I said.

"Maybe he came here for something urgent," Harper shrugged.

"Whatever it is, he should be quick, I have to get my hair done," Emma said.

We walked to the front and luckily for us, five seats were empty.

We sat down and a few minutes later.

Tammy, Rachel, Madison, Christy and Patricia walked in and sat behind us.

Why?

So now they have teamed up with Rachel.

How fun!

Mr Howard was saying a few things but I wasn't listening.

I'm being watchful incase anything happens to me.

Cause I don't know why they sat behind me.

"It will be an opportunity to learn new things, so who wants to volunteer," He said and that was the only thing I heard.

"Volunteer for what," I asked Nelly.

"Maid stuff," She shrugged and looked away.

Maid?

I wonder who will volunteer.

"Mr Howard, Laura can do it, she has been whispering to her friend about it because she's too shy to talk," Rachael said and I froze.

Devil!!

"Laura, that's great, but don't be shy.. "

"Me!! " I yelled confused and angry.

"So you do want to do it," He smiled.

"Sir.. "

"It's okay, you don't need to thank me.. "

"But sir she didn't say.." Nelly tried to protest.

"It's okay, and no one should protest, she volunteered and it's done," He smiled.

"You will start tomorrow, I'll come pick you up, you'll be living in my house from now on," He said as he walked away.

No!!!

Why do Rachel always bring me grief.
