Chapter 86: Chapter 86
Author's POV
"Now just leave! Before I asked my security to come and drag you out from my door! Just leave my daughter!" Her face scowled with unhappiness.
"But Aunt…" He tried to take a step.
"Stop there! Don't try to come anymore! Eric, you should be thankful that Angela's father is still outside the city, or else he will make you pay for what you did to our daughter and let you and your family drag to the court for cheating charges."
She angrily announced and slammed the door in his face.
Eric felt lost and stood there for a long moment before going to his car. He turned to glance at Angela's room window and felt she was there for a second but he knew it was his illusion. After what he did, there is no chance she's going to come out and meet him.
All he can do is wait. The perfect time when he can explain his side! When she was finally ready to listen to him but till then all he could do was wait for that time.
He turned back and reached for his car, he opened the driving seat and got on it, closing the door.
He looked at the home from the car window and then took his mobile in his hand to turn on the screen and stared at their honeymoon photos with a breaking heart.
"Angela...I'm sorry please talk to me!" He whispered with a painful voice.
On the other side, Angela heard Eric and her mother's conversation but didn't come out as the pains she was feeling right now, seeing Eric only going to be worse. So, she tried to avoid him in all manner for now.
However, when her mother slammed the door on his face and he was going back. She couldn't help herself now to run towards her window and looked at the leaning shoulder figure in sorrow. But as she saw him suddenly turning towards her window she gasped and hid behind the curtain not to be caught by him while tears almost came out of her eyes.
She didn't know why she ran or why she hid? But watching Eric made her heart feel more pain. As she remembered the happy moments which they spent together.
Next Morning,
"Angela!.." The heavy knock came from the door as her mother's voice caught her ears and made her open her tired, puffy eyes the next moment from the deep sleep.
She got off the bed and went in the door direction just to open the door for her mother.
As soon as the door opened, her mom's worried face came into her eyes.
"Mom, what happened?" She inquired with a confused face.
"Angela, Eric is still outside our house with his car! I think he didn't leave last night and stayed there the whole night!" Hearing this Angela immediately looked outside through the window pulled the curtain and found out Eric's car was still there as her mother informed her.
Her face frowns to see this, and she immediately covers the glass again. Before taking the turn to her mother.
"Mom! Just make him leave! I don't want to see him at all!" Her eyes turned red as soon as these words came out of her lips.
Mrs.Brown felt too hurt to see her daughter like this and nodded immediately, creasing her cheek.
"Don't worry sweetie! Don't panic! I'll go and make him leave now!" Mrs. Brown's face turned straight as she showed how angry she was.
"Thank you, mom!" She created her hand on her mother's hand which is on her cheeks.
"Now, please don't be nervous, just rest here!" Mrs.Brown showed a weak smile and Angela nodded to her in response.
Mrs.Brown came out of the house and went to his car side just to see him sleeping on the seat with a tired face.
She knocked on the window's glass with heavy knuckles just to get Eric's sleeping eyes open with a frown and looked at her with little dizziness before getting himself straight mind.
He opened the door immediately and came out with a heavy face.
"Eric, what the hell are you thinking you are doing?"
"Why are you still here outside my house?" She looked at him with a deep frown as she angrily shouted at him.
Eric felt numb for a moment before he talked back to Mrs.Brown.
"Aunt! Please let me meet Angela and talk to her once." Eric looked at Mrs.Brown with a pleading gaze as he felt he couldn't wait any longer. The whole night turned out to be a worse time as he found himself looking out Angela's window with hope.
Whenever he looked there he hoped to see Angela's face at least once.
After the beach conversation, he didn't see her and he felt too worried for her. How is she? Is she fine? Did she cry? All these thoughts claim his mind the whole night.
"Aunt, please! At least let me see her from afar!" He suddenly kneeled in front of Mrs.Brown.
Mrs.Brown gasped and moved backward feeling a little upset to see him doing this.
"Eric, don't do this thing! She doesn't want to see you or do anything with you! Why can't you just listen to my words!" She coldly asserted.
Eric felt taken back to hear her words and clenched her hand before standing up again.
"I can't do that, Aunt! Because I truly loved her in my marriage life and without talking and explaining her to my side! I can't stop!"
Mrs.Brooks widened to hear his confession for her daughter as she felt he was telling the truth. She could feel and see that but what could she do? Eric chose the wrong path to get her daughter's heart and now there is no turning back.
She sighed helplessly in her heart as she tried to talk back to him," There is nothing to explain, Eric! There is nothing to explain…"
"When she comes to know your identity. That was the last day of your relationship with my daughter!"
Eric's heart tightened to listen to those words.
