Author's POV

"I don't know what you want? But if you think staying here makes my daughter talk to you! You are thinking wrong!" Mrs. Brown looked at him with a big disappointed face before leaving him alone in front of his car to go back to the house inside.

While Eric remembered Angela's mom's every single word again and again.

He felt too numb and got back inside his car while his hands clenched on the wheels.

"Mom, did he leave?" Angela inquired as soon as she saw her mother coming back to the house.

"No! He is stubborn! He wanted to talk!" Mrs. Brown sighed helplessly as she could help her daughter with Eric's matter.

Angela's face frowned to hear that and she blurted out coldly, "Then let him do whatever he wants! I will not give him a chance!"

Her eyes turned red as she went to her room leaving her mom.

Eric stayed in the car the whole day without eating anything. He never flinched from his seat at all.

He asked his P.A to take care of everything in his absence.

Angela never opened her window at all as she knew Eric was still outside there.

At midnight, she felt thirsty and got off from her bed to drink water. But suddenly she thought about Eric and thought to check on him.

She walked towards her window and took a long breath before pulling the curtain slowly to peek through it.

However, she finally discovered his car was still there, in the same place and she couldn't help but pull more curtains. From the car windows, Eric's sleeping face could be seen as he was not moving.

Angela stood there for a long moment and remembered their together moment, their honeymoon, his confession everything. But suddenly she comes back to her senses as tears are already streaming down her cheeks.

"Damn Angela, what are you thinking? You are not in love with Eric. You made those memories because you thought he was Erish!" Angela mumbled to herself as she was trying to make herself realize that it all happened only because of a misunderstanding, she got nothing for Eric. There is no love, no feeling.

But is this true? Suddenly a wisphere came from the corner of her mind but she shook that thought instantly feeling scared of her own mixed feelings.

She glanced at the car and Eric for a moment before covering back the curtain again.

She felt too confused the way her heart now started questioning her thoughts and her action.

She never thought one day she would need to face something like this.

Feeling uneasy inside her heart, she immediately walked toward her bed and grabbed the phone, only to take out Ella's contact number and pressed the call button.

Ella already knew about Eric, as Mrs.Brown told her the whole truth. She wanted her to talk to Angela as she needed someone so much.

Ella was out of the city at that moment, so she talked to her on the call.

"Hello, Angela…"

"Are you alright?" Ella hurriedly asked with worry as she got a midnight call.

"Yes, I'm alright! Don't worry! And sorry to call you at midnight..." Hearing her, Ella felt relieved.

"Thank goodness! I was scared!" Ella replied.

"Ella…" Angela bit her lower lips as she felt a little uneasy about what she was going to tell her.

"Hmmm..." Ella hummed as she's waiting for her to say further.

Angela feels too uncertain in her heart if she's doing right or not. Should this decision be going to make everything right? Her mind is chaos as.

"Angela, are you alright? Hearing nothing from her, Ella's voice became worried again, as she asked from the other side in a hurry.

Angela came to her senses and she shook her other thoughts before replying to her finally.

"Yeah...I'm alright...I just…"

"Babe, don't try to lie...it's not like I don't know how upset you are! I know Eric is outside your home! Your mom already informed me in the afternoon." Ella's words made her press her lips tightly for a moment. Before suddenly speaking out again with a rough voice.

"Ella...could you do me a favor?"

Hearing her, Ella immediately replied to her from another side.

"Yes, babe! Tell me, what favor do you need?"

"Angela, think again!" Her half mind shouted at her. Angela felt disastrous to hear that. But bit her lower lips as she shook her mind to not think too much about that as she continued her words.

"Ella, Do you know any good lawyers? I want to file for di...divorce..." Her voice turned shaky as soon as the last word came out of her mouth. While her eyes filled with tears.

Ella felt stunned as a deep silence turned around to hear her friend's words.

On the other side, Angela waited to hear her but did not hear her voice for a long minute from the other side. She enquired.

"Ella...are you there? Did you listen to me?"

"Huh...Yeah!" Ella responded hesitantly.

Angela felt ridden.

"Angela...Are you sure about that?"

"I mean, you truly want that?" Ella asked with a serious voice.

Angela knew she would ask that to her.

"Yes! I'm sure..."

"I can't take this anymore! I want to break the relationship with him and his family!" Her lips were shaking as she wiped the tears.

Ella felt her words and knew how hurt she was.

"Alright…"

"If you want this, I'll help you with all my might…"

Ella only wants to see Angela happy. So, whatever her decision, she already planned to go with it.

"Thank you, Ella!" Angela's voice turned weaker.

"You don't need to say that...we are sisters! Not blood-related, But with soul…"

"I'll always be with you and your decision! So, be a strong babe!"

Hearing her, Angela felt warmth.

"Yeah...I know…" She slowly smiled.

"I think now you should rest, let me handle everything for you…" Ella spoke up.

"Alright..." Angela replied with a heavy tone.

"I'll call you tomorrow! But until then try to stay relaxed!"

"Yeah...I will!" Angela responded with heavy heart.
