Eric's POV

"Mom!"

"Where is Angela?" I asked mom as soon as I entered the house and saw them dreadfully.

I know she will go to meet my parents after knowing the truth. She would question them, why did they do something like this to her in the first place.

"Eric!" Mom hugged me while crying.

"Mom! What happens?" My voice is almost shaking with worry.

"She's gone son! She's gone!" Mom could only say this much as her sobbing turned wide.

I flinched in my place hearing her.

"Son, she doesn't want to see us anymore! She was deeply hurt by us!" Mom's voice broke down almost, added this line.

And I was feeling the same. Devastated!

"Son, You are right!"

"Dad!" I held his hand.

"We should have informed her about the Erish accident! But...I...I was too blind that time to look through it!" Dad's voice turned weak while I felt the same hurt.

Yes, we should tell her the truth! But now it's late.

I know everything messed up just because we didn't get the courage to tell her the truth. The bitter truth. My identity's truth!

If I just reveal my identity at the right time. We don't end up like this. If I don't give another person a chance to come between me and Angela. She never needs to phase hard times.

I gave another person a chance to come and destroy our happy world. It's my fault and I need to bear this consequence. But this is turning hard for me. I can't live without her.

I can take any punishment which she wants to give me. No matter how hard it would be. But I don't want her to leave me. I don't want to be left alone again. I don't want my love running.

Without her, my life is never going to be brighter anymore. There will be no shine.

"Mom, dad!" I held both of their hands.

"You both don't worry! I'll talk to Angela. I'll try to explain to her why this happens. I'll not stay calm until she finally gives me a chance and accepts my apology. I'll do everything for her."

I know apologizing is a small thing for which I have done but I'll do everything to make her believe me and not leave me alone.

"Yes! Son, just do everything. If you need help we will also help you. We need to ask for an apology from her and her family." Mom wiped her tears and looked at me with deep stares.

"Mom!" I hugged her. While she patted my back.

I released myself and heard Dad's words.

"Son, your mom is telling the truth! We owe apologize to her and my friend! Please make Angela believe we are still the same parents for her and you are truly in love with her and want to share your life with her! Ask for an apology. We are with you!" Dad's eyes looking at me full of hope.

I felt their words and nodded to them with a weak smile agreeing.

Because the thing is going too hard and I don't know if she will let me explain myself. Will I be able to make her stay with me? I don't know how broken she's feeling right now. She should feel cheated by her loved ones! By me!

I shook my thoughts and looked at my parents.

"Mom, Dad! I'll leave now!" You both should rest and don't think about this matter anymore!" They are already too depressed because of Erish's condition and now Angela's matter is going to make them more uneasy.

"But son…"

"Mom, just trust me!" I cut the mom's word in the middle.

"Alright! We trust you! Take care of yourself!" Mom spoke with a worried expression.

"Yes! Mom!" I said and left the house immediately.

I need to go to Angela's house as she could only go there.

If she's not there then Ella's house is the one I can look after.

I need to meet her and explain everything. I want to beg her not to leave me. I want to tell her to stay with me. I want to apologize and take any punishment.

I take my car and drive immediately to Angela's house.

"Mom, please let me talk to her!" I pleaded as Angela's mom looked at me with a disdainful and hateful gaze. She looked disappointed. I can see. And I can't say she's wrong. I hurt her daughter and she had every right to be angry at me. Even hate me!

"Eric, I don't think there is anything left to say! You and your family betrayed our family. Now we don't want to see you and any of your family members at all! You can leave now!"

"But Mom…"

"Don't call me mom! You don't have a right!" My lips tightly pressed to hear her angry tone.

"We don't have any relationship from now on! I don't how you all can do this to us and my poor daughter. We always treated you and your family like our family. But you all cheated on us. Cheated my daughter. How could you do that? How could you break my daughter's heart like this?"

I couldn't utter a single word to hear her words. She'd completely right. How could we do that?

"When Angela told me the truth, I felt she heard something wrong but when she showed me proof, I was stunned. It's too hard for us to believe that you all can do that thing to us. You all could be so selfish and greedy for your own benefits and fear. You can do something like this."

My hands clenched tightly while my head turned down with guilt.

Every word was true. I knew it. but I can't go like this.

"Aunt, please if you want to punish me, you can! But please let me talk to her! I know! We made a big mistake to hide the things from you all, from her! But I or mom and dad never want her to hurt!"

"Eric! Don't try to hide your and your parent's sin now…!" She angrily shouted at me while I fell silent.

"How could you say that after what you all did to her? Is hiding your identity just a mistake or is marrying my daughter to her lover's brother right?"

My body flickered to listen to those words.
