Chapter 91: Chapter 91

Third POV.

Leila did as she was told and in no time, she was done. She took out the barrier that was covering her and walked towards the rogues who were beating up their leader.

The screams of the leader were so terrifying that the people present had to cover their ears to avoid damaging the eardrums.

Leila looked at how the leader was beaten up and a smile formed on her face since she was so satisfied.

“Stop,” she shouted, making the rogues stop and stand still.

“How…how can you do that?” the leader rogue asked as he stammered terror evident in his voice.

Leila rolled her eyes at how weak the man was yet he called himself their leader.

“What? Why are you surprised? Didn’t you know that I have special gifts?” Leila asked, making the rogues’ leader's eyes blink.

“You…our boss will kill you soon,” the rogue leader told her as he started laughing out evilly but Leila shook her head as a smile appeared on her face.

“What? Do you think that he will be able to kill me when I can do what I just did and many more?”

Leila bent down so as to reach the man who was lying on the ground.

“You may be pleased that you can do that but it is the only thing you will ever do since all the elders will be killed or get kidnapped,” the leader said with a smirk on his face.

Leila’s eyes dimmed as they turned cold since it seemed that was why they were here.

“Why did you attack the council and the old King?” Leila asked as she slapped the man on his right cheek, making him throw up blood.

“Do you think I will waste my time talking to a slut like you? You must be insane?”

The rogue leader’s voice was full of disgust and arrogance. He spat on Leila’s face making her be gloomy.

Out of anger, she slapped the man four times making the man fall down again.

“You matter tell me before I torture you,” Leila said but the man laughed as he did not believe such a young woman could beat him up.

“You are so weak yet you wish to torture me. Those are just your wishful thinking but there is no problem in always dreaming,” he said with an evil grin on his face.

Leila was speechless and did not know what to do.

Everyone in the room shivered as the room temperature decreased as Leila gotter colder and had a murderous aura on her.

She opted to give Amaya control so that she can torture the man. Before doing so, something came on her mind making her give Amaya half-control making her eyes not to be pitch black.

Seeing the big black eyes staring at him sharply, the man shivered as he dragged himself farther from Leila as he was afraid of her.

“Huh. I thought you said that you aren’t afraid of me since I am so young that I can’t torture you? Why are you running? Guess you are much more of a big coward than even your subordinates,” Leila said mockily with a sweet smile on her face.

“I … I … leave me alone. I will tell you what you want to know,” the man said as he continued to back away from Amaya.

A laugh escaped from Amaya as she did not think that her black eyes were enough to make the man talk.

“Speak.”

Her tone was deep and cold, making him flinch.

“I… we were looking for our Alpha’s mate,” he said, shocking everyone.

“His mate?” Amaya asked in confusion.

“Yes, he met her once and later discovered that he was a warrior from the kingdom and her father is one of the council.”

His tone was calm, his eyes held fear and a panicked expression on his face. He wondered what his alpha would do to him when he discovered that he had already told them about his mate. He just hoped that he would never find out that he had snitched on his people.

If him saying he was looking for their Alpha’s mate had shocked then what he had said shocked them to the core.

“Madeline?” Eliud’s low voice asked, making the man nod his head when he had the name.

They were confused as to why Madeline did not tell anyone that she had found his mate and who he was. Why did they insist on staying in the kingdom if she had such a mate? Even though he wasn’t a good person and always had evil intentions, they all knew that Madeline liked to be with rich and powerful people no matter what their characters are.

“Have they been speaking to each other?” Amaya asked after getting out of the shock.

“They rarely did. The last time they did is after the previous attack. He had told her to make sure to cause a conflict between you and the king and aso find out what your powers are if she did not want her family to die.”

“If that’s the case, why is he looking for her when he has given her an assignment?”

“They have neither marked each other or mated thus he can’t mindlink her. Also, they were supposed to meet three days ago but she failed to show up. The man who had been sent to spy on the kingdom saw you visiting the elders thus the alpha was mad. He started seeing you as a threat if you were given a chance to study under the old men and women.”

They remained silent upon hearing what had occurred. Never had they thought that Madeline was the enemy’s mate. They were relieved and glad they did not release her since she would be of great help to the rogues when they attack us.

“Thank you for your honesty but it is the high time you die,” Amaya said as she slit the man’s throat.

Leila took control and looked at the other rogues who had been motionless.

“Slit your wrist,” she said and they did as told.

“Slit your throat.”

They did not expect them to still do it till their blood splashed before they fell down.

“The elders!”
