Chapter 90: Chapter 90
Third POV.
“How?” Aiden asked immediately as he jumped from his seat.
“We can’t just leave since there are rogues outside,” Elana said as she shook her head since she thought that was what Marcus was planning to do.
“I know, okay? Since we can’t lower our guard and do what we could have done as we don’t know what their plan is by attacking us, we will just use them to get out of here,” Marcus said with a grin on his face.
Everyone was confused by what he was trying to say but did not bother questioning him through their mouth as their eyes could tell what they wanted clearly.
“Haven’t you guys that he is the only one talking?” he asked, making everyone look at the other alphas.
After thinking for a while, they all nodded their heads as they remembered that they have not talked since Elana started to act weird.
Elana’s eyes twinkled and widened as she understood what Marcus was trying to say.
She looked at him with love and admiration but at the same time, she couldn’t help but wonder when he did what he did.
“What does it have to do with us leaving here? And why are they not talking but he is the only one talking?” Aiden asked calmly but in his eyes, there was a bit of confusion and desire to know more.
“At first, I thought he was the only one who was on our side and wasn’t working with them thus I let him be since he had not spoken since we got into this room but it seems I was wrong,” Marcus said before looking at the man.
He shut everyone and everything happening around him and concentrated on the man in front of him.
After a while, he broke the contact and looked at his group with a smile on his face.
“What if we try breaking the wall? The side wall. That is. At the same time, we can release them to go outside. Of course the rogues will keep their guard down as they are working together. When they are asked why we are, they can say unconsciously in the room or that we deceived them and escape. Later, the alphas will turn against the rogues and start fighting when the rogues will insist to check it out themselves. We will use that chance to get out of here,” Elana said as she looked at both Aiden and Marcus while her eyes were asking whether her plan was good enough for them to follow.
“Excuse me Elana, but I don’t think that that will work,” Eric said, making Elana raise her eyebrows with a frown on her face.
“Yes, I also think the same since how can the alphas turn against their fellows?” Matteo also chimed in making both Elana and Marcus roll their eyes.
Aiden looked at them curiously but did not ask questions as he had already guessed the answer but still he was curious of how it could be done.
“Alphas stand up and turn on your right,” Marcus said.
As if they were robots, the alphas stood up and did as instructed.
“Sit down,” Elana said and they still followed her instructions.
Both Eric and Matteo were dumbfounded. Their mouths were wide agape as a shocked emotion was seen in their eyes. Elana chuckled upon seeing their reactions.
“Do you believe now that they can do as told and fight against their own?” Marcus said, making both Eric and Matteo nod their heads.
Although Aiden knew that they could control minds, he was still shocked to see that scene but at the same time, he was impressed and envious of them.
“It seems that Aurora was right. I wish that I listened to her instead of arguing,” Aiden said, making them sigh as they had to believe that they had indeed done a wrong thing.
“We can’t just stay here and continue regretting what happened. Since it has already happened, we can just try to minimise what was supposed to happen,” Marcus said silently.
Everyone's expressions turned cold and serious. Even though they were going to do what they had planned, they were still afraid that it may not work.
Elana got into the enemy once more before instructing them.
The alphas got out of the room carefully and as they talked and laughed as if nothing had happened to them.
“Sir, is everything okay? Why did you leave the room after just a few moments?” the rogues who seemed to be their leader asked.
“What? Did you think that we would end up spending the entire day and night there?” the first alpha snorted angrily, making the leader's rogue eyes turn cold.
They argued for a while before a battle broke down. Since the alphas had also come with their warriors, the warriors started fighting the rogues and it was a chaotic scene.
Seeing what was happening outside, Matteo nodded at Eric.
They walked out of the hotel wearing the employees' clothes. As a normal person, anyone would be frightened at a scene where people are fighting and killing each other. They pretended to be scared and screamed as they ran away from the scene.
They ran till they came near an SUV which they recognised.
Fortunately for them, one of their cars had broken down and needed to be repaired. They had left two warriors and a driver.
When they opened the door and got in, the warriors were ready to fight them since they didn’t recognise them because of their clothes.
“Drive,” Eric said, making the warriors halt their action upon hearing a familiar voice.
“Your majesty?” they called out even though they didn’t know who Aiden was as they had covered their faces.
“Just do as Eric says,” Aiden said as he took off the scarf which had hidden his face.
“Marcus, Elana, are you guys going to leave them in that state? Isn’t it dangerous?” Aiden asked with a frown on his face while both Eric and Matteo looked at the two mates.
“Even if they are taken to the rogues, nothing will be traced to us. I added some scenes so that it could be as if we had a good discussion. Also, now the rogues will be at odds with them and that’s a good thing for us,” Marcus explained.
“Can you drive fast? The kingdom is under attack.”
