Chapter 70: Chapter 70

Third POV.

One of them punched him on his head while the other kicked him on his stomach making him take steps backwards before falling down.

“Pfft. You always claim how powerful you are since you have been getting trained by a master but it seems you are just a dust in front of us,” Amaya said, making Elana’s darkness smirk.

“Of course he has to be dust since how powerful can he be in front of us?” She asked before they both started laughing loudly.

“Tsk. He is so weak. Why are you standing up Josiah?” Amaya asked in disdain.

“Let the poor guy have some rest. After all, can’t you see that he is just an old fellow?” the other said before laughing.

Josiah stood up after some minutes of struggling but he did not talk or try attacking them back.

“Both of you are just crazy but Amaya you’ve proved to me that you are the craziest of all,” he said after some time.

Amaya rolled her eyes before saying, “thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate them.”

“Even if you knew that Elana’s darkness was just dominant and not gone, why did you have to provoke her in front of people? Couldn’t you wait till you are indoors? That if anything happens no one will know your identities?” Josiah asked angrily.

“Identities? We are ashamed of our identities like you are! So what does it have to do with how we want to do?” Elana’s darkness asked angrily.

“You are just stupid. Even though you have been dormant, don’t tell me that you don’t know that the rogues have tried kidnapping Leila twice because of her powers. Now, we are busy trying hard to know what we should do to keep her safe as she continues with her practice but you also want them to know that you have powers just like her and should come for both of you?” Josiah asked her as he wished he could just fight with her to knock some sense in her but he knew that that was not the best thing to do when facing both of them.

“You are just afraid of mere rogues! My sister and I can get rid of them all in less than an hour thus I don’t know what you are so afraid of,” she said making Josiah laugh sarcastically.

“Girl, do you know what you are talking about? Do you know why they want her? It’s because they believe that she had darkness in her. The rogues are not the issue but the people behind them! They want to avenge their mother. Do you think that both of you are ready to fight experienced darkness gods? Your cousins, aunties and uncles who have been sent by the God of Darkness to avenge your grandmother?” Josiah asked, shocking the two of them.

“If you don’t know them, stop being reckless! If the rogues know that both of you are powerful but have not trained your powers then they will ambush right away and take you with them. In that way, your grandmother’s creation will be wiped out and you will both get killed. Till you are all ready, that;s when you should show the others your identity. When you know that you can save the gods on the other side. Be aware that they ruin everything and anything since they have no goodness and light in them unlike you two,” Josiah reprimanded them without caring what they were thinking or feeling.

“If both of you want to train in your darkness form, then do it indoors and not outdoors. Tell me. Now that Madeline knows that Amaya’s eyes were pitch black when she was fighting against her and that both of you were fighting on the air and she is to be banished, where do you think she would go? To the rogues pack of course and when she arrives, she will just tell them what happened here today in exchange of her being allowed to live there and have a roof on top of her and meals to put on her mouth. Think twice before doing anything,” Josiah shouted at them, making them lower their heads in guilt.

“I don’t fucking care how you will learn to erase people’s memories but I want everyones memory of witnessing the fight to be erased by tomorrow evening! I know that I am just a nobody to tell both of you what you should do but I will do what brought me here. What I was told to do,” he said coldly.

The two girls looked at him as it later turned into them glaring at him.

“You can’t be serious. How can we do that when we have no idea how to do it?” Elana’s darkness asked angrily.

“Whose fault is it? If both of you weren’t wasting time on irrelevant stuff would I have told you to do that? Or wouldn’t you be learning how to use your powers from the older people with powers in the kingdom?” Josiah answered her sharply shutting her up in the process.

“What are you going to do if we refuse to clean that mess and force you into doing it? After all, weren’t you sent here to look after us and help us out? Mom and dad always cleaned after we made a mess. Thus you should too if you want us to trust you unconditionally and always listen to you,” Amaya said after some time of being silent.

“Yeah, you can even be one of us instead of staying locked up there,” Elana’s darkness voiced out.

“You wish! I am neither your nanny or parents so I can do any of the stuff mentioned. You should stop dreaming that I would,” Josiah answered.

“You are so stupid. Do you think we don’t know who you are? Leila and Elana might not know but in front of us, we can see through you and even slide what is on your mind and know more. If you don’t want us to know who you are you better clean the mess,” Elana’s darkness said coldly as it was already turned off talking to Josiah.

“You girls you never learn! Or do you want me to slap you once more?
