Chapter 50: Chapter 50

Third Pov.

“Don’t you dare come near me,” Leila said as she was really afraid of what Aiden could do.

She could see that he had been fighting with his wolf for control and dominance but he had refused to give in. Now, seeing his eyes turning darker than usual, she could tell that she had messed up a big deal but her mind was still crowded as she didn’t know what to do to make him go away.

“Why shouldn’t I come near you when you belong to me? You are my mate thus I should always be with you. Don’t you think so?” Aiden said with a wicked smile on his face but Leila cower in fear.

“But, but, had you not promised me that you would give me time before all these happened?” Leila asked but she was afraid of looking at him.

“Yes, I did. I am so turned on and that’s why I was going to get a shower to cool myself but you. It seems that you really don’t want that. Guess you are already wet for me,” he said as he lifted her nightdress up making her gulp as she felt hot.

“What are you doing? Please stop. I am feeling hot. Can you please switch on the fan?” she asked him.

Aiden looked at her and wondered whether she was pretending or not.

“Do you think I will fall for that? How sure am I that you aren’t going to run away? Or that you aren’t pretending to get rid of me?” he asked her as he grabbed her chin but not forcefully.

“Don’t be irrational. How can I get rid of you when we are in the same room? Can’t you think for once in your lifetime?” Leila asked but she regretted saying the last sentence immediately after she completed it.

Aiden’s eyes turned darker than before and she knew that she had hurt his ego. She wondered whether she should apologize or not.

“First of all, you can get rid of me by running and hiding in either the closest or the washroom. Secondly, I always think. If I never thought, I would have already marked you. I can’t understand why I am sympathizing with you and don’t want to hurt you. I think I should teach you some manners so that you can stop talking to me in that manner,” Aiden said angrily.

“I… i …”

Leila tried apologising for her mistakes but she was forced to shut up by Aiden when his lips landed on her soft lips. Feeling how soft they were, Aiden became angry and started kissing her roughly without giving her a chance to turn her head.

Leila struggled under him. She opened her mouth wanting to talk but regretted it when Aiden’s tongue invaded her mouth. She could feel his tongue on his mouth moving from one corner to another drying her up.

After some more minutes, Aiden stopped, removing his tongue from her mouth, looked at her red face but did not let her go.

“You bastard!” she cussed as she started hitting her after regaining her breath.

“Now, I have become a bastard, huh?” he asked in a surprised tone.

He did not expect the first thing she would say after sharing their first kiss. He knew that he had done it against her will but he had not expected such a big reaction from her.

“Yes, you have. How can you do that? I had always dreamed that my first kiss would be so passionate and not what you’ve given me!” she said angrily as if she wanted it to come out as a yell but it came out as a whisper making Aiden chuckle in amusement.

“You should be happy that I haven’t gone farther than that. If I want to I can do this,” he said as his hand went up her thighs.

When Leila felt his hand on her pants, she gulped but at the same time, she had tears in her eyes. Discovering that she might start crying and it makes it seem as if he was forcing himself on her and making him be regarded as a rapist, he stopped teasing her and got away from her.

Leila stopped crying when she saw what he was doing. At the same time, she sighed in relief as she wasn’t ready for any of that. She knew that he was disappointed in her but there was nothing she could do since she was also disappointed in herself.

She had to admit to herself that before she found out Liam was her so-called chosen mate, she was ready for everything. She had promised herself that she would give herself to her mate on the day she found him but everything changed when she was rejected.

Even though Aiden did not reject her, she was still worried that he might anytime soon. Moreover, she was worried that he was just after her body and that he would reject her the following day. Because of her insecurities, she did not dare let him get what he wanted till she could see how sincere he was when it concerned her.

Looking at her indifferent look, Aiden knew that she was thinking of something. He was afraid that she would regard him as a scumbag with only her body. He wanted her to feel comfortable and trust him unconditionally.

“How dare you! Just because you think that your new friend will now become the queen of our kind just because she was chosen by the moon goddess doesn’t mean that she will be!”

When he heard those words, he was shocked and he looked at Leila only to find her looking at her with questioning eyes. He knew that she had misunderstood him. He wondered whether she thought he was just after her body then he would reject her. When he saw tears trying to escape, he panicked since he wondered what he could say would prove her otherwise.

“Please don’t listen to her. I am sure it’s Madeline who is speaking,” he said as he neared her but Leila shook her head as she tried to get far away from him.

“Oh, so are you planning to let her become the queen when I stay here as who to you?”
