Third POV.

“Madeline, what are you doing on my brother’s floor?” Aurora asked coldly as she neared them.

“Huh! I wonder where you got the guts to speak to me in that tone,” the woman in the nightdress said angrily.

“Oh, then can you tell me how I am supposed to speak to someone who sneaks in our house in the middle of the night?” Aurora asked as she folded her hands.

“I don’t need your permission to come on this floor. You love barking here when this floor doesn’t belong to you. After all, I am aware that you need your brother’s permission to do so,” Madeline said with a smile on her face.

“Well, well. Look who loves being arrogant! Maybe I should remind you that I am the princess of this kingdom unlike you who is a nobody! Furthermore, who do you think my beloved brother will choose between you and I if he comes here and realises what you were up to?” Aurora asked with a smirk on her face upon seeing Madeline's face turning white.

“You! You are accusing me forcely! I am innocent. I am just here because I was worried about Aiden. We were ambushed and I am afraid that he might be hurt,” Madeline said in a concerning tone and a worried face.

“You really surprised me, Madeline. We weren’t ambushed tonight or yesterday but the day before yesterday. If you were really concerned then why did you try seeing whether he was alright yesterday during the day?” Aurora asked as she stared at the girl who was still acting.

“I was also hurt. I had bruises and I didn’t get any sleep since I have been having nightmares about that day,” she said as she played with her fingers.

“Now you think that if you sleep with my brother, you will stop having those nightmares?” Aurora asked with a frown on her face.

Madeline blushed instantly but she came back to her senses making her glare at Aurora.

“Didn’t you hear what I said? I came here just to see whether my chosen beloved mate and life partner is okay,” she said with a smile.

Elana, Marcus and Aurora chuckled at her stupidity.

“Are you sure you are here to see whether he is doing fine and not sleeping with him when you are dressed like a slut who is ready to be fucked by a customer whose wife is sleeping?’ Marcus asked, making Aurora chuckle at his words.

Hearing that, Madeline felt humiliated. She wanted to kill him but looking at his well built body, she could tell that he wasn’t her match even though she was a skilled warrior.

“Aurora, do you know that you are a hypocrite?” Madeline asked as she glared at the girl in pyjamas.

“What have I done now?” Aurora asked in confusion.

“You are just concentrating on how I came up here yet you can’t ask these two unknown and weird creatures,” Madeline said as she pointed at Elana and Marcus making the two glare at her upon hearing her words.

“You are really shameless. Do you know that?” Elana asked her coldly, making Madeline take some steps backwards out of fear.

“Madeline, I don’t know why you think that my brother would choose you to be his mate over the mate he was given by the moon goddess,” Aurora said in disdain.

“That creature who doesn’t even know how to walk well? She walks as if she is blind. How can she compare to me? I have been brought up here and my dad guides me through as the next queen,” she saw proudly making the rest roll their eyes.

“You? I am sure that my brother would rather choose an omega in the kingdom to be his mate than to choose an arrogant, prideful and shameless woman like you,” Aurora said without sparing any effort to hide her displeasure.

“How dare you! Just because you think that your new friend will now become the queen of our kind just because she was chosen by the moon goddess doesn’t mean that she will be!” Madeline rebuked her.

“You are so stupid if you think that my brother would break the laws just for you to be his mate and queen. Sorry girl but sadly, you will have to wait for eternity for something like that to happen in this life,” Aurora said.

“Aurora, you shouldn’t argue with stupid people. Do you think that she can get what you are trying to make her understand? Maybe we should just scream, make people wake up so that they can see how shameless she is and what she was up to,” Elana said while looking at Madeline coldly.

“You are just a nobody. How I wish that it was that woman speaking rather than you talking nonsense,” Madeline said, making the chuckle.

“Oh dear, they are her family. Why do you think they have been allowed to stay on this floor and not in the guest house like the rest of the guests?” Aurora asked with a smirk on her face.

Madeline looked at both Elana and Marcus trying to see the similarities between them and the girl she had met previously.

“She shares some similar features with her but not this guy,” she said arrogantly but deep down she was jealous of the two sisters.

They were more beautiful than she was and wondered why it had to be that way. Luckily, she was good at concealing her emotions thus they never saw it.

“Its none of your business. You should just lave before brother hears our voices and get out,” Aurora said.

“You are lying. At this time I am sure that he is still on his study room,” Madeline said

“Sdly, you aren’t a god to know that. Why do you that I am here? Can’t you see that I am carrying bags full of ladies clothes?” Aurora asked.

Madeline looked at Aurora’s hands and she recognised the label on the shopping bags making her bite her lower lip out of anger.

“You mean that that girl and … and..”

“Yes, they have already mated and marked each other,” Aurora interrupted Madeline as she spoke.
