Chapter 130: Chapter 130

Third POV.

The more Oizys continued to inject Leila with the drug the more she frowned.

It was supposed to work after ten times but she had injected her more than twenty times. Cause of this, she started to doubt whether Leila’s darkness was really locked up or not.

“Leila, are you sure your darkness hasn’t awakened yet?” she asked with a frown on her face.

As someone who has been taught how to read people’s expressions, Leila could tell that she had continued playing dumb for a long time making Oizys start suspecting her.

Leila looked at her innocently and in confusion.

“Aunt, you know I don’t know how to tell when my darkness is awake,” Leila said, making the alpha chuckle while Oizys face slapped herself cause she now understood why Leila wasn’t saying anything else apart from crying out loudly when she was being injected.

She felt frustrated at how stupid she was believing that the little girl could detect it.

“What are you feeling currently?” Oizys asked with a bit of worry in her eyes but the expectations and eagerness were higher.

“I feel that my body temperature is rising,” Leila said in a low tone but Oizys who had heard her smile widely.

“Aunty, does that mean that I am about to get my darkness?” Leila asked, full of expectations.

She knew that if she didn’t give up right now and say some signs, she might give herself in and she couldn’t till her sister found her.

“Yes. I know that you might be feeling uneasy but please try being strong, we will finish the process later,” Oizys said, full of smiles as she couldn’t believe that she was about to succeed in her plans.

She was first afraid that Leila was pretending so that she can become stronger than her but it seems that she didn’t have to worry about that now as she was so sure that the darkness was still so weak.

“Okay aunty,” she said innocently with smiles on her face.

Oizys was about to inject her when she heard her mom’s voice in her head making her halt what she was doing and frown cause she was not pleased at all with being disturbed.

‘Oizys, just know that I love you so much. Always remember that,” her mother said, making her frown deepen as she knew that something bad must have happened as her mother would never tell that anytime she felt like it.

“Mom, what’s the matter?” she asked as she tried her best to calm down.

“I tried killing that woman but I was caught,”her mother replied, making Oizys feel anxious as she knew that her mother had really angered her father this time.

“Mom, don’t worry. I am about to succeed in controlling Lyannette’s younger daughter, Leila. After doing that, I will lead the rogues, my army and her to attack Selene’s creations and wiping them all. When the battle is over, I will come back home and report to dad that I have done what he wanted. I don’t think he will punish you when I have done a good job,” she said, trying to assure her mother and at the same time, assure herself.

“No listen to me..” her mother tried talking but Oizys interrupted her.

“Mother, just stay strong and endure for at least a day. I will be back so soon,” she said before shutting her mother out and concentrating on Leila who had been looking at her every action.

When she met Leila’s eyes, she saw something in them making her confused and feel fear inside her but she later got her composure and shook her thoughts away as she didn’t want to believe what she had just seen. To her, Leila was so stupid and she couldn’t come up with a plan to lie and set her up.

She didn’t talk to her as her mind was on what her mother had told her and what would happen to her mother if she didn’t haste and do what had brought her down here.

She injected Leila one after another without even counting the numbers making both the alpha and Leila frown as they knew that she had been counting so as not to make Leila strong but now. They could tell that there was something that was bothering her.

The alpha was shocked as he had never seen Oizys even once not in her right mind. To him, he knew that there was nothing the woman couldn’t solve but now looking at how she was behaving he realised that he was so wrong. That even gods had troubles to deal with but he wondered what had happened cause she was fine some few minutes ago.

Leila looked at Oizys sternly and knew that she had been told something. Something that didn’t please her at all. She knew that she had felt another god's presence even if it was through the mind.

Due to the drugs injected in her body, she had become so strong that she felt as if she was a real god although she had always been one.

“I have injected you so many times thus I believe that your darkness will be awake in some few minutes,” Oizys said coldly, making Leila change the way she had been looking at her as she didn’t want Oizys to notice her.

“Okay aunty,” she said in a low tone as she pretended to be afraid of Oizys cause of the tone she had used.

Leila closed her eyes and notified her wolf to tell Amaya to emerge after five minutes.

After the five minutes, Leila’s eyes turned pitch black.

Seeing the black pupils, Oizys smiled widely as to her, she had succeeded.

“Welcome home. What shall I call you?” she asked with a smile as she walked closer to Amaya.

“Amaya,” Amaya answered in a deep voice which made both Oizys and the alpha take a step backwards as it was too strong and terrifying.

Although Oizys felt nervous and afraid, she smiled as she had been proven right. That Leila was indeed special and her darkness was so strong.

“Amaya, that’s great!” Oizys said as she walked towards the table that was in the room and full of daggers, drugs, syringes and a bowl.

She picked a dagger and cut her palm before making the blood pour on the bowl.

Seeing this, Amaya trembled in fear as she became cold.

Sensing that something was wrong with Amaya, Leila who was inside and had given up control frowned as she wondered what was going on.

“Amaya, what’s wrong?” she asked.

“She was trying to make me strong so that she could then control me! Make me one of her puppets!” Amaya replied, making Leila turn pale.

“Do you think you are now stronger than her?” she asked her.

“Yes, I am,” Amaya answered in confidence

“But I am afraid that she will still do what she is planning to cause we are currently pretending. Also, although I am stronger than her, she is more trained than I, thus I think she can defeat me. I can’t risk to stop pretending as it will endanger our lives since we are all alone here,”Amaya explained.

“Quick. Contact Elaine and notify her!”
