Third POV.

“What are you doing?”

He asked immediately before the servant went as he felt that his wife was acting rather restless

“What are you trying to say? I have to go so that he can save Leila!”Selene told him immediately as she panicked, making Endymion frown.

He also had always thought that she didn’t love the girls but seeing her panicking look, she knew that maybe she indeed loved them.

“But are you the moon goddess? The rogues also worship you, I am sure that if you talk to their alpha, he will help you out,” he told her.

“No, he won’t! His mind has already been corrupted by Oizys. Although I am their goddess. They are now Oizys puppets,” she told him calmly.

“Come on, let’s go. If anything happens to her, Lyannette will never forgive me! She might even choose to live with Erebus instead of me,” Selene said with worry in her eyes.

“She will understand. She alway do. You on the other hand, you are behaving as if she is a tool which you have to fight for,” Endymion said angrily.

“No! I can’t lose my daughter! She can’t be with Erebus. He is my enemy and I won’t let him take him away! I carried her for months yet you expect me to just give up and let her go? No way! She is my daughter! My child. Elana and Leila are my grandchildren. Mine and mine alone!” she shouted madly, shocking her husband.

Endymion has never seen her in such a state. He also started panicking as he wondered what was wrong with her.

“Why are you behaving like this?” he asked himself in a low tone but Selene still heard him clearly.

“How am I behaving? Aren’t you the one who said that I am punishing my one bloodline? I want to make everything be the way they are supposed to be,” she replied as she looked at him with a frown on her face.

“Okay,” he answered after recovering from shock .

Lyannette had heard her parents mentioning her kids when she was on her way to the kitchen making her halt, hide herself and listen to them.

She agreed with her step-father that if something happens to her kids, she will leave them and go to her biological father’s house. Although her father’s wife and kids hate her cause she is the most loved, she knows that they won’t harm her when she is living there cause they are always afraid of their old man.

As she was lost deep in her thoughts, she heard what Selene said, making her look at her in disbelief.

Now hearing that her mother regretted everything, she couldn’t help but start shedding tears as it was unbelievable but at the same time she wondered why she had to wait till anything happened to Leila. Her eyes turned cold as she looked at her mother, Selene but deep down she hoped that her mother will make sure she saves Leila or she will avenge her daughter’s death without even caring whether she would go against her.

She left as she tiptoed not to alert them.

“Can we leave? The servant has already left,” Selene said calmly as she didn’t want to argue with her husband whom she loved dearly.

“No, first we need to see whether Leila is truly in Oizys hands. Although she is the rogues pack, we aren’t sure whether she has been caught or not. Whether she has been hurt or not. Although Leila is Lyannette’s daughter and his granddaughter, I think that Erebus loves Oizys more than he will love Leila as he doesn’t know her. We really can’t walk in there and just say anything without evidence. If we want him to help us in rescuing Leila, we have to present evidence to him,” Endymion said calmly as he walked towards Selen, took her hands and dragged her to the nearest seat.

“Okay,” Selene said after a few minutes of silence and her thinking.

She later looked at what was happening on the rogues side.

After looking for Leila everywhere around the pack yet they didn’t find her, they both frowned before looking at the cells.

“Aunty, will I become as powerful as you are after you inject me with that injection?” Leila asked curiously but her eyes had some fear in them.

“Yes. Didn’t you say you want to learn how to make darkness puppets? You have to have your darkness so as to be able to do that,” Oizys said softly but her eyes had disgust in them as she looked at Leila.

Both Selene were confused when they saw how Leila was behaving.

“What is she up to?” Selene asked in confusion as she felt something wasn’t right.

“I don’t know,” Endymion answered, because he also didn't understand what was really happening.

“I can’t sense Amaya. Although Leila isn’t in front of me, I have always been able to sense Amaya and Elaine every time I looked at Leila and Elana from here,” Selene said, making Endymion's frown deepen.

“Why do I feel as if Oizys have already controlled Leila?” he asked as his eyes darkened when he thought of what would happen if that’s the truth.

“I guessed Amaya went into hiding as Oizys claims that she wants to make Leila get her own darkness,” Selene answered without looking at him.

“What will happen if she injects Leila with that drug?” Endymion asked as he couldn’t understand anything related to the darkness.

“I don’t know. But I know things will get messier if she forces Amaya to come out,” Selene said as she didn’t have a good feeling about this.

“Then let’s go to that old man as soon as possible before she does what she wants to do. We will ask Eebus what the drug is used for,” he said as he stood up in a hurry.

Selene nodded her head and did what he said.

Since they were in a hurry, they didn’t see the need to be escorted by their warriors and personal servants.

Lyannette walked out of the kitchen just to see flash lights leaving, making her frown.

‘Are they going to see dad without guards? What if he asks something in return and endangers their lives in the process?’ she asked herself as she started worrying.

Although her mother never gave her all the attention, love and care, she had always felt her feelings that’s why she always did what she was instructed to do. She also loved her mother so dearly that she could never let her mother suffer even if it was in her biological father’s hands.

She hurriedly walked to her room and placed the snacks she had gotten on her table before vanishing.

“I am going to follow my parents but if I summon you, you should come to Erebus house,” she said to her parents’ personal servants and guards before leaving.

They were confused but they did not dare question her as it would be like asking to die.

“Okay,” they answered as they bowed down although she had already left.

Selene and Endymion had already arrived Endmion’s mansion but they were suddenly attacked by Erebus wife’s personal bodyguards as she didn't want Erebus to see Selene as she was jealous of her getting her husband's attention even without Selene doing anything. Also, she was aware of what her daughter had done back on earth thus she couldn’t risk it been known

“You said that she is coming but she hasn’t arrived yet, were you lying to me? Playing with me?” Erebus asked coldly as he looked at the servant kneeling down and surrounded by warriors in front of him.

“I didn’t lie to you. My Lord sent me here to tell you that but before she instructed me, I heard her mentioning that Leila was in Oizys hands,” the servant answered without looking at the man cause she was so afraid of him.

“Leila in Oizys hands? Oizys is my daughter but who is Leila?” the old man asked in confusion as he wasn’t familiar with that name at all.

He looked at the servant waiting for the answer but he didn’t hear anything.

The servant felt cold when she heard his question. She knew she had made a mistake by mentioning Leila thus she pretended that she didn’t hear his question.

“Answer me,” Erebus said coldly and in a loud voice, making everyone tremble in fear as they knew he was angry.

Knowing that she might lose her life if she didn’t answer, the servant gritted her eyes before lowering her head as she asked for the moon goddess' forgiveness.

“She is Lyannette’s youngest daughter,” the servant answered timidly after a few seconds of silence.

The cane that Erebus was holding fell down as he was in shock.
