Third POV.

“What drug? Aunty, did you use drugs to make such a puppet?” Leila asked as she pretended to be curious.

“It isn’t a puppet! It is one of my armies!” Oizys shouted angrily, making both Leila and the Alpha speechless.

“An army? Then what are we? It is just a puppet cause it can’t talk and does everything you tell it to!” The alpha said in his mind but he could’t say it lousy afraid of what might become of him.

He feared that he might become one of her so-called armies.

Leila tried her best to avoid rolling eyes on her.

“Sorry aunty. I thought it was a puppet,” Leila said, making Oizys wish she could kill her while Alpha wondered where she had gotten the guts from.

‘Didn’t she know how much the woman hates her cause she keeps provoking her?’

“Aunty, will we be using the drug to make armies?” Leila asked as she knew when to stop.

As expected. Oizys facial expression calmed a little bit.

“No, but it would help in awakening your darkness,” Oizys told her as she felt there was no need to lie to her.

Leila admired her honesty. She knew that she had to try getting along with Oizys in order not to be tortured to death. Now that she had seen Oizys power and strength, she was kind of envious of her and wished she could know some powerful deeds. She now wanted to learn before Oizys remembered that she is her enemy's daughter.

On the other side:

“Where were you?” a woman asked as she continued seeping her drink from the cup without looking at the man who had just walked in.

“Why do you ask?” the man asked in return.

“Endy, since when did you start lying to me? If I hadn’t listened to your conversation with Elana, I wouldn’t have known that you have been in contact with them! Those girls are bearing spoiled brats and unbearable as time passes,” Selene said angrily.

“You should control your anger and just admit that you miss them. Naah, you wish that you are the one they had reached out,” Endymion said as he rolled his eyes making Selene dumbfounded but she couldn’t refute his words.

“I know what you are afraid of but you should always remember that they are your grandchildren!” Endymion said as he sighed.

“How are you always to love them and also Lyannette when you know they have the enemy’s blood in their veins instead of your blood?” Slene asked in a low tone.

She had always wondered that but she had been afraid of asking that question because she always felt she was the one to blame and didn't make his dream true.

“Why should I hate them? They are not him, they are themselves. Also, why should I give them all my hatred while they didn’t do anything wrong? They aren’t at fault although they are the outcome of his misdeed. They are victims. I see them that way,” Endymion answered after some minutes of silence.

Selene nodded her head and didn’t say anything.

“I don’t think you hate Leila but I know seeing her it’s like you are looking at Lyannette. Although I told the kids you sent Lyannette down there for her protection, we know that isn’t the main reason, you didn’t want to see her face cause she reminded you of what happened but it is the high time you let it go. I think that Erebus is crazy or mentally ill but we know he never harboured anything ill towards Lyannette. She is her little princess just as she is to me. Stop punishing them. See where your anger and hatred has led. Do you want to tell me that you are happy with everything?” Endymion asked in a low calm voice but it shocked Selene.

She had always thought he couldn’t see through her actions but now…

“Stop it. I know if you want to intervene you can and can avoid all these dangers. Erebus always listens to you and that’s why you are the most feared goddess even his wife is envious of you. Now, that feeling has been transmitted to the kids also. They know that if he finds out about the girls, they won’t have any position in his heart,” He added.

“It is hard, Endy. Do you know how painful it is to carry the enemy’s baby? To breastfeed and always look at them?” Selene asked, tears in her eyes.

“Do you want to say that you hate Lyannette and her kids? Do you know what the girls once told me? They said you don’t love them. You love your creation so much more than them and thus why you are so willing to sacrifice their lives for your creation. They said sometimes they wished they were ordinary werewolves, that way, they won’t find your injustice to them,” he told her with a lot of pain.

“You should stop always thinking they have Erebus blood in their veins and remember that they also have yours! When you sent Lyannette away, she didn’t didn’t make any sound, she obeyed you and tried her best to protect your creation. Why? Have you ever asked yourself? She hoped that after she does that, you will be willing to welcome her back home, she will get your love but what did you do? You were so indifferent to her even now she is back here. You haven’t even talked to her properly.”

“Now, Leila is just like her mother. She hopes that you will see her hard work and be a great grandmother to them. That you will stop her sufferings down there if not allowing them back here. They are willing to protect your creation. Hope you see the goodness in them instead of always seeing that they have evil in them.”

“Hope you remember that they also have your blood in their veins. When I see them, see your descendants, I know they have your blood, I remember the pain you endured to give birth to Lyannette. Remember you are also a mother and a grandmother despite being the werewolves and lycan’s goddess, moon goddess,” Endymion said thinking that it didn’t hurt his wife but sadly it did.

Selene felt numb as she remembered all the scenes where Lyannette and the girls looked at her with longing eyes. Where they were afraid of approaching her.

“I didn’t listen to everything you and Elana talked about. Thought you guys needed some privacy,” Selene said after some time of composing herself.

“Don’t tell me you don’t know what’s happening!” Endymion said as he tried controlling his anger.

“What happened?” Selene asked anxiously as she knew something might have happened.

Thinking of everything he had just said, she had a bad feeling.

“Leila is currently in Oizys hands. We need Erebus help cause we can’t let Oizys kill her,” Endymion said feeling frustrated.

Selene was shocked and later started panicking. She knew better than Endymion how much Erebus kids hated her, Lyannette and her kids. That’s why she had even prevented Lyannette from going out since she got back.

“Go tell Erebus that I am on my way to his palace.”
