Third POV.

“Yes we should. We can rescue her together with the five elders that were previously kidnapped,” Eric chimed in as he nodded his head.

Although the one who was supposed to have the final say was the king or the council, they all remained silent and looked at Elana waiting for her words as they had noticed that she had been quiet as if she was thinking of something.

“Elana, you have been so quiet. What do you think? Should we go on or what?” Eliud asked as he looked at her waiting for her reply and to see her reactions.

“We aren’t going,” she said as she shook her head making others look at her with confusion except Marcus who knew there had to be a reason behind her words.

“Why? Are you going to watch her suffer?” Aiden asked angrily, making Elana frown and her eyes turned cold when she turned to look at Aiden.

“You may be the king here and everyone has to listen to you but remember your place when you are in front of me! Also, you should be the last person talking,” Elana said coldly, making Aiden gulp as he averted his gaze.

Since he lost his wolf, he started fearing anyone and the fact that Elana was a god while he was just a mere human didn’t help at all.

“Why? What’s your plan?” Amanda asked as she knew that Elana would never forsake her sister as they were each other’s lives.

“Don’t tell me that that was Leila’s plan! I wished you had informed me,” Josiah snapped, making everyone look at him.

“You think I knew that this was her plan? Our plan was practising till we came stronger then after that we would ambush the rogues, save the elders and kill the rogues. That was our plan. I don’t know what the hell she is planning but it is currently dangerous as even Elaine has lost her connection with her. We just know she is in the pack already, maybe being held captive,” Elana said calmly but her eyes were looking at Josiah coldly.

“Then what are we going to do? We don’t even have a mole in there,” Matteo said as he frowned.

“What if we release Madeline so that she can go to her mate? We can manipulate her and make her do as we want,” Eric said after some time of silence.

Hearing this, Elana shook her head disagreeing with his suggestion.

“That will be the last thing we do. If we fail to get in contact with Leila after some weeks, we will use Madeline as our bargaining chip. Also, Leila has hidden the fact that Amaya has already awoken thus I am sure the rogues and Oizys think that she doesn’t have her powers yet. If we manipulate Madeline and send her there, it would just make matters worse as they will find out that Leila is lying to them,” Elana explained, making all of them keep quiet as they felt the gravity of the situation.

“What is Leila really planning?” Marcuus murmured as he felt he was going to suffer from a severe headache.

“Let me call grandpa so that I can inform him and that he can tell us what we should do cause I am also confused., What I am sure of is that Leila wants us to go rescue her. In that way, the last battle will take place in the rogues pack instead of the kingdom. This will lead to the rogues suffering a huge blow while we won't have casualties apart from the warriors who will be injured from the war.

“Do you mean she did this for us? For our kingdom?” Doris asked in disbelief and her voice cracking, making Elana nod her head.

“She is truly a great queen. Aiden when all this is over you should try your best to win her over. If you fail to do that, we will strip you off the throne and make Leila the only ruler of the kingdom,” Mike said in a serious tone, making Aiden frown but surprisingly everyone else nodded their heads agreeing with him.

Aiden sighed as he knew that no one, even his own father, was on his side but he also had to admit that Leila did indeed make a brilliant queen.

“He should even start now. Maybe when Leila finds out the good deed he has been doing when he was absent, his chance to get back with her will increase,” Aurora said but Elana and Marcus didn’t say anything because they already didn’t like Aiden.

Elana closed her eyes and summoned her grandfather.

After some few minutes, a light flash covered the whole room making everyone shocked and close their eyes afraid that the light would harm their eyes.

“Grandpa,” Elana called out as she ran towards the old man.

They all opened their eyes when they heard Elana’s voice.

“Why did you summon me? Also, why can’t I see that mischievous yet stubborn little girl?” the old man asked with a frown on his face.

“She… she is in the hands of the rogues. That’s why I summoned you here cause I don’t know what I should do,” Elana said, shocking her grandfather.

“What? When and how? Also, where are you all seated here instead of going to rescue her?” he asked anxiously.

“We have searched everywhere for her. She is the one who went there by herself more than two hours ago. I only found out where she is through Elaine. Also, it seems that Amaya has disappeared and wiped out all her existence.

“This girl. What was she thinking when she went there? Does she know how dangerous Oizys is?”he asked angrily.

“She just wanted to avoid innocent people getting hurt. I know she wants the war to be there, guess that’s why she did what she did. But grandpa, do you think that we are ready to ambush the rogues right now?” Elana asked anxiously.

“This girl. She is just like your mother. She just thinks of the responsibility given to her and not herself. I don’t know whether you are ready to go or not. I haven’t watched your practices. If only I knew this was her plan,” Endymion said with a regretful look.

“Grandpa, you promised that you will speak to Erebus and get him on our side. Have you done so?” Elana asked with a frown.

“Not yet. I thought you guys were going to practise for more than seven days. By the way, have you finished?” he asked as he looked at Josiah waiting for his answers.

“They refused to rest, thus I gave each of them some of my energy to take them. They took three days and nights to know everything,” Josiah answered, making Endymion nod his head in understanding.

“If that’s the case. I will first go back and see what is happening on the rogues’ side through your grandmother cause I am sure she is aware of everything that’s happening. After that, I will go visit that old man. If Oizys fails to release Leila even after being commanded by her father then you can ambush them cause that man would be so mad thus he will surely help out with the war. Also Josiah, go back and tell Elias that it’s the high time he comes out of hiding. Lyannette won’t be able to come down here as her human earthly form had been killed,” Endymion said before vanishing leaving everyone in shock.

“Is Elias your master, Josiah?”
