Chapter 120: Chapter 120

Third POV.

“Why alpha? Don’t you think you are giving this woman a lot of respect than she deserves? It’s like you have become her servant!” the beta said angrily.

“Fool! Have you forgotten how strong and powerful she is? Let me tell you, if she wanted us to be on her palm we could have been. She could have controlled us. All of us. Now let me ask you, between surrendering to serve with her and being her puppet, which one do you feel is better?” the alpha asked as he coldly glanced at his second in command.

“The first one,” the beta replied, making the alpha nod his head when he saw that he had understood what he was trying to say.

“Still do we have to get her here to see and question her? Can’t we do it on our own then tell her what we found?” the beta asked with confusion written all over his face.

“Do you know who she really is? Do you know her family’s background?” the alpha asked his beta as he pointed at Leila making the beta shake his head.

“She is Goddess Oizys niece! Now do you know why we have been hunting her down? I have to get Goddess Oizys cause she is the only one who can tell us whether this little girl is lying or not! Although she gave me some powers and I can see through anyone, I am afraid that is much stronger and that it might hurt me when I try invading her memories,” the alpha said, making the beta look at Leila with some fear for a while.

“Then why is she so weak? I think that you were lied to!” the beta said as he felt some things weren’t adding up.

“What do you know? I saw it in her memory. Also, her mother and Oizys are stepsisters. Also, her grandmother is the moon goddess who is Oizys enemy. Now have you understood?” The alpha asked as he was starting to get angry.

“If you won’t go to notify her then just say so and leave! I will do it for myself,” he said coldly when he saw his right hand man wasn’t moving at all.

Hearing the cold words, the beta averted his gaze from Leila and nodded his head to his alpha before leaving quickly.

“Don’t think we won’t find out what you are up to. If we find out you are lying to us, you will regret ever crossing paths with us!

“I never knew my mom had a stepsister. Does that mean that I get to see my aunt? But why does she hate grandma?” Leila asked innocently instead of paying attention to the alpha’s words making the man speechless.

“Seems you have always been kept in the dark!” the alpha said as he walked away from her.

After a few minutes, a woman in a black dress walked in. She walked arrogantly and at the same time elegantly with a murderous aura around her even Leila felt oppressed in her presence.

“Well well. Look who we got here huh? Lyannette’s younger daughter Leila. Are you happy to see me, niece?” Oizys asked with a smirk on her face.

Leila raised her head and looked at the woman standing in front of her and who had twenty percent resemblance with her mother.

“Are you really my aunty? Why haven’t I ever heard of you?” Leila asked in confusion.

“How can they speak of me when your mother was a bastard?” Oizys said as she sneered.

Leila didn’t say anything cause she was angry when she heard her cussing her mother. She was well aware that she might end up exposing herself if she defended her mom. She glanced at Oizys coldly quickly before hiding her inner thoughts.

“How can you call my mom that? I have never heard of such a thing,” Leila said innocently.

“You just look like your mother,” Oizys said with hatred in her eyes.

She had to live under Lyannettes shadow although they never lived together. Her father loved Lyannette so much that he didn’t care about anything else. When she was sent down here she came with two missions. One to do what her father had asked her and the other was to wipe out Lyannettes family.

“Anyways, don’t worry cause you will join her soon after I get what I want from you and kill you,” Oizys said coldly.

“Why? Didn’t you say that you are my aunt? Why do you want to kill me? Also why are you working with the rogues? Do you know that they killed my mom, your sister?” Leila’s said angrily as she looked at the woman with questioning eyes,

“Why? Hahaha! I am the one who ordered them to kill your mom!” Oizys answered in between her laughter.

“Why did you kill my mom? You are the reason behind all my sufferings!” Leila said as she cried without caring whether she might be killed or beaten up.

“I will tell you cause I am in a good mood and it seems they didn’t bother to tell you your mother’s origin,” Oizys said before dragging a stool that was in the room and sitting down.

“Your mother was our father’s favorite daughter. Although she didn’t live with him, dad just cared and worried about her forgetting that he had other children. My siblings and I don’t know the true definition of fatherly love. I have always envied your mother for having two fathers who love her the most. I hated her for that. No, I still do cause she is now back home although I killed her here. If dad finds out that she has daughters, he will love you and your sister so much that even we his children wouldn’t compare with you guys. Now do you understand why I hate your family so much? Your mother took what was supposed to belong to me! Dad is also biassed, he didn’t kill her even after she killed my nephew,” Oizys said, full of hatred, making Leila remain silent.

She had always thought that this aunt wanted just to use them to ruin the moon goddess creation but now. She was shocked that she didn’t know what to say or do.

“I am sorry. But don’t you think I am just like you? I am unwanted everywhere! My dad left when I was young. I can’t even remember what he looked like. Mom died on my sixteenth birthday. My first mate rejected me while my second one hates me with all his guts,” Leila murmured.

Oizys, who was lost deep in her thoughts, looked at her upon hearing her words. She started laughing after Leila finished talking.

“Guess I am not as pitiful as you but it seems your grandma doesn’t know how to choose a perfect mate for you. She despises you cause you just look like your mother. Seeing you reminds her of what she went through in the past,” Oizys told her as she stared at her.

Oizys invaded Leila’s mind and memory searching to see whether Leila was lying to her or not.

Seeing her concentrating on her forehead, Leila held her breath as she didn’t know whether Amaya had done a great job or not. She just wished that everything was okay.

After some time, she stopped and looked Leila in the eyes.

“You are quite frank with me! It’s a pity that you are Lyannette’s daughter thus we can never be close. You are meant to be my tool till you die!” Oizys said with a wicked yet pleased look.

“You said that grandfather will surely love my sister and I deeply when he discovers that mom has daughters. Aren’t you afraid that he might be mad at you or even kill you when he finds out you killed mom and wants to kill Elana and I too?” Leila asked as she pretended to be curious and afraid.

Oizys laughed at her then gave her a mocking smile.

“How will he know, Mh? If he hasn’t discovered yours and your sister’s existence for more than twenty years, do you think that he will now? He will never know anything! When I go back I will say that Lyannette was killed by her pack’s enemies but I avenged her death cause I knew he loved her deeply. What do you think of my plan? Is it good or exciting?” Oizys said making Leila roll her eyes inwardly but she was also amazed by how Oizys had planned out everything perfectly.

“I will start injecting her with the drugs immediately.”
