Third POV.

“Brother, can you please go and save Leila?” Aurora asked immediately as she walked in.

Aiden lifted his head and looked at her without speaking.

“Brother can you please stop being heartless! Do you think that if dad was here he would have been happy with the way you are doing things?” Aurora asked angrily as she was disappointed in him.

“If he was here, none of these would have happened! But sadly he isn’t and it is caused by that bitch,” he said coldly making Aurora cower in fear.

“Even if. Dad won’t be happy when he finds out that you are making your own mate suffer! We were all taught that we should love, care and respect the person who the moon goddess chooses for us. But you are going against his teachings, brother,” she said as tears appeared in her eyes making Aiden speechless as he wondered why she was crying.

“Dad is suffering out there because of her. Don’t you think that it is necessary for her to also go through some pain although it isn’t the same as dad’s sufferings?” Aiden asked, smoking his cigarette.

Hearing this, Aurora felt so defeated as she knew that there was no way she was going to win against her big brother.

Something came on her mind making a wicked smile appear on her face.

“It’s fine then if you really don’t want to help her. As far as I know, now that she is on heat, all the unmated wolves who smell the scents are anxious and crazy. I will just go out there and find one who will mate with her. In that way, she will be free from pain and from you. In that way you won’t be her mate anymore and there will be no connection between the two of you,” Aurora said calmly but her words were enough to make Aiden’s wolf angry.

His wolf tried getting control and started fighting for dominance. He has been trying to get it for a long time but Aiden did not dare to do so.

“Aiden, let me go. Our mate is hurting. Don’t you feel sorry for her?” he asked as he continued to fight, making Aiden’s eyes flicker and change color from time to time.

Seeing this, Aurora smiled and sat down as she opted to watch the scene before her. To her, now that Aiden and his wolf were fighting for control, Leila would surely be saved.

“Don’t even think about it. It is her fault that dad was kidnapped and he is fighting for his life over there,” Aiden said stubbornly, making his wolf speechless.

“You fool, you will lose everyone because of your stupidity. Dad is already gone. Are you sure that if something happens to Leila Aurora will surely forgive you? That’s a no! She starts treating you like a stranger. At the same time, if Leila will mate with another person who will lose her and at the same time, it would lead me to be dormant. Don’t you think that your life would be so pitiful losing your family for your selfishness?”

“What will happen when the council finds out that you don’t have your wolf anymore? Do you think that you can still be the ruler of this kingdom? Do you think that will have enough time to spare so that they can see and talk to you?” The wolf asked angrily in his mind.

Hearing all that he said, Aiden clenched his hands into a fist before blocking his wolf as he didn’t want to hear anything else.

He turned his head to the side and saw Aurora who had a cold smile on her face.

“What are you doing here? Get out,” he said angrily, making Aurora stand up and walk out of the room.

Before shutting the door, she said, “since you have decided not to help her. I will go out there right now and find an unmated wolf who will mate with Leila so as to relieve her pain.”

Just as she shut the door, she heard Aiden saying sarcastically, “don’t take me for a fool. You like Leila so much as she is your ideal wolf. Do you think that I will believe that you will do that?

Aurora gritted her teeth and said, “You will be shocked in a few minutes to find out that I am dead serious in this decision. Furthermore, even if she stops being my sister-in-law, have you forgotten that she is my best friend? We will always be close!”

She later walked away and went directly towards the front door.

“I can smell that smell. It is enough to make me horny. Damn, I wish that I can go and fuck her right now. Why haven’t I found my mate yet?” One of the guards guarding the door said making Aurora halt.

“We are out here when she is up there yet we can smell it. Guess her smell is so strong since she is so powerful and the king is her mate. It is a pity that the king hasn’t mated with her yet. How can you have fresh meat that belongs to you, sleep with it yet not mating?” another chimed.

Aurora frowned but she knew that this was the effect of Leila’s heat. She knew that nothing would go as planned if she took any of the horny men inside. With this thought, she called the only unmated guard who had not spoken and was trying to get control over his beast.

“I need your help but you have to promise me that you will control yourself,” Aurora said as she planned to first tell the person her plans before going inside.

Before the other party responded, Aurora saw her brother out of his study room and looked at her. Although he was glaring at her, she courageously asked the guard to follow her behind quickly.
