Chapter 105: Chapter 105

Third POV.

In a few days as they were practising, everyone except Leila, Elana and Marcus felt a wave of light and at the same time darkness surrounded them. They tried escaping, freeing themselves from the light and darkness that were holding them but they weren’t successful. Tried shouting for help but sadly no one heard their cries.

It took them a whole hour to feel better, not just the feeling of being free from the devil but they felt a wave of strength in the body. They felt their blood flowing rapidly as they felt a change in the bones.

They all looked at each other and wondered what was happening.

All this while, when the warriors were undergoing the change, the family of three had been called by the old man but they weren’t successful in talking about what they wanted since Leila started feeling hot all of a sudden.

Her face turned pale as her body was covered in sweat. She tried walking in the shadow where the sun rays would not reach her and so that her body’s temperature which had risen to decrease but it was all in vain.

“Elana,” she murmured as she hugged herself as she had started shivering.

Her body was weak, she was even unable to walk steadily and her vision had become blurred.

She walked as she staggered and at the same time she wondered what was really wrong with her.

Hearing her sister’s soft cry and words, Elana frowned and looked behind her. She was shocked upon seeing that Leila was so behind her as and wondered why she had been left behind.

Taking a closer look, she saw her staggering making both her and Marcus frown.They hurriedly walked towards the young lady.

As soon as Elana tried to hold her hand, she felt as if she could get in touch with fire because of how hot Leila’s hands were. She saw Leila trembling and her body completely wet.

“Elana, what is happening to her?” Marcus asked as he was confused and worried something bad might happen to Leila.

“I also don’t understand, maybe we should take her to infirmary but how are we going to carry her since her body is so hot?” Elana asked in a panic.

“Maybe we can use our powers to cool down her temperature,” Marcus replied before getting down in action.

He placed his hand on Leila’s arm and closed his eyes before taking a deep breath. After time passed, steam could be seen coming out of Leila’s body.

He then opened his eyes and lifted her up before running towards the infirmary with Elana behind him.

As soon as they arrived, all the people who were waiting to see the doctor made ways as they recognised the woman being carried was their queen.

“Doctor, can you please check on my sister and tell us what’s wrong with her?” Elana asked worriedly.

“Okay,” the doctor said before leading them to the consulting room.

After some few minutes of the doctor testing, she stopped when she smelled a certain scent in the room, making her frown and look at Leila who was laying on the bed curled up in a small cat.

“Doctor, have you found out what;s wrong with her?” Marcus asked upon seeing the doctor’s look on Leila.

“It seems that she is on heat. You should take her away from here as soon as possible before the unmated wolf senses it,” she said, shocking everyone.

“Doctor, can you please relieve her pain?” Elana asked in a pleading tone as she didn’t like seeing her sister in pain.

“I am sorry but there isn’t any medicine to deal with that. The only thing that can do that is mating with the king,” the doctor answered her.

“They have been arguing for a while now. I am afraid that Aiden will refuse,” Elana said in a low tone as she remembered how Aiden was dedicated to making her sister suffer.

She knew that he would not help her at all.

“I am sorry but then I don’t know what to do but maybe putting her in a cold water tub will help her. Even if it won’t completely, I think that it would help a little,” the doctor said, making them nod their heads in understanding.

“Thank you,’ Elana said as she picked her sister before leaving the room.

The news that the queen had been rushed to the infirmary had already spread.

Leila’s friends put aside what they felt inside their body and rushed towards the clinic to see how she was doing.

Aiden on the other hand was still sitting on his arm chair in the office with a cigarette on his right hand even after hearing the news.

Elana walked towards Leila’s temporary bedroom and rushed towards the bathroom with Leila still in her hands.

Wisely, Marcus didn’t go in. He stood outside the bedroom door guarding it.

“What’s wrong with Leila?” Aurora asked hurriedly when she saw Marcus.

“She is on heat. Can you please go and convince your brother to mate with her so that she can stop being in pain?” Marcus asked pleadingly.

Hearing this, Aurora bit her lower lip as she knew how difficult it would be to convince Aiden. She wanted to argue or even say that that was impossible. When she saw Leila’s face that was already pale and her body trembling in her mind, she stopped and nodded her head.

Both Eric and Matteo left immediately when they heard that Leila was in heat. They had not mated thus the shewolf sexual scent when she was on heat would drive them crazy and even make them try mating with her.

They knew that things would be dangerous if they continued staying there.

“Jordan, can you make sure there isn’t any unmated wolf in the palace?” Marcus asked as he glanced at Jordan who nodded his head upon hearing the instruction.

Leila was lying naked on the bathtub which was full of cold water.

Aurora stood in front of Aiden’s study and hesitated to knock it.

“Aurora, are you going to stand there? If you want to say something to me just walk in and say it. If not get out of here,” a cold stern voice sounded inside the office making her flinch.
