“Why not? He is the cause of this. Now that he also caused his own daughter’s abyss, there is nothing else holding him back,” their grandfather said.

All this while, Eric, Matteo, Jordan and his mate Doris were shocked and couldn’t find their voices.

At first, they thought it was a mistake but after listening to the conversion more, they understood some things but at the same time they were confused about others.

“Sir, but what you have said so far is different from what we have always been told by our parents,” Eric said courageously.

Everyone looked at him. Although Endymion never liked being interrupted when he spoke to his granddaughters, this time he wasn’t as he knew the people surrounding them had supported Leila unconditionally while even her mate refused to.

“Oh, what then were you told?” Endymion said as he raised his eyebrow.

“That God Erebus' grandson died on a battlefield. Also as a result of revenge for his death, he sent his daughter and son to come not only to wipe out the werewolves and lycans but also to ruin Lyannette’s lives,” Jordan said what he remembered.

“They later found that Leila was so strong and knew that with both Lyannette and Elias, they might still lose the battle thus they have been looking for Leila so that they can use her to wipe out everyone,” Matteo chimed in.

“Also, the reason why Lyannette came down here wasn’t because she was running from Erebus but because she is her mother’s most beloved daughter and the moon goddess saw that only her daughter can help and save her creation,” Eric said.

Endymion smiled as he looked at the three men.

“For what you have said, it is true that that young man died on the battlefield but the battle was because Elias was trying to save their best friends who had been held captive. To save them, they saw that it was only right for them to declare war and fight that person since he would never learn and stop causing problems,” Endymion said as he looked at Jordan.

“Yes, they knew that Leila was strong from what happened during her birth and what you have said is true but they kept it hidden from that old man. He doesn’t know that his daughter has two children,” he added as he looked at Matteo.

“You know, Erebus declared war both here and where we live just to get Lyannette. The werewolves and lycans were also in danger as he thought that if he oppressed them, Selene might agree but he was wrong. Selene and I thought that if Lyannette came here, no one would find out and she would be saved as she tried to save them but once more we made a big mistake since it was discovered by him,” he concluded as he looked at Eric.

“Hope you can now understand what I was saying,” Endymion said.

“Grandpa, are you really sure that he will help us and not his children?” Leila asked as she still got it hard to believe.

“He can decide to punish them for causing your mother’s death. Also, in the past few years, he has been trying to mend his ways and be a good person so that Lyannette can accept him. If he can go to such an extent do you think he won’t help you even if it is out of guilt and not love?” He asked them but they remained silent.

To them, as long as they defeated the enemy and saved their people, anything is okay with them.

“You all shouldn’t worry, just continue practising and stop wishing that you may have powers so soon. What if we give you some gifts or what you want but they fail to be of any help during that war? We have to analyse everything well and know which gifts are suitable to provide you guys with,” he said as he looked at his granddaughter’s friends.

“Excuse me but if Erebus doesn’t know that he has grandchildren down here, does that mean that he can’t see anything that is going around here?” Doris asked.

“Leila, do you see what’s happening on the rogue's side?” Endymion asked his granddaughter.

“No grandfather,” she answered, making the old man nod his head.

“She is also a god but can't see what’s happening here. If they really did, they would have already known a lot of things and your strategies and tricks you came up with will just be fruitless in front of them as they would have already seen everything. Also, this is Selene’s creations, not just any god can see what happens here. I also see everything that happens because I am with Selene,’ Endymion said, making Doris nod her head in understanding.

“Then what do you mean by analysing?” Eric asked with a frown.

“Those kids are so stupid. They are using the rogues despite of knowing they are part of Selene’s creations! Everything they do, we know about it. What I mean about analysing is knowing which gifts the rogues have been gifted and what their weapons can be. If we find out, we will give you gifts that can be used as weapons against the enemy,” Endymion explained but deep down, he knew that he was in danger once Slene’s discovers that he had told them everything.

“Now that you know everything. I hope that none of you will disappoint me. I will surely do what I have promised you. To make the enemy fight the enemy. Also, don’t summon me again as it will only lead to your grandmother being dissatisfied with me,” Endymion said, making both Elana and Leila chuckle as they knew how much the old man was afraid of his wife behind the scenes.

“Marcus, we sent you here to be their protector, hope you will do a good job,” he said as he looked at the young man who had been silent.

“Also, release Josiah after a few days.”
