Chapter 11: Chapter 11

My uncle showed me, my room. It was a massive one. I walked in, still dragging Elmira with me. She kept whining. My uncle turned in my direction.  "Hope you like the room?"

I looked around. There was only one bed, a big one. The black leather couches glitter under the light. I sighed. "I think it's ok. But I need to see the bathroom". He nodded. I released my grip from Elmira and she moved backward immediately. "Come with me" I ordered

She widened her eyes and I glared at her. "Yes, my lord" she answered quickly.

I left the room for the bathroom and she trailed behind me. I checked out the bathroom and nodded in approval. I think I like it. I went back to the room. "I think I like it"

He smiled. "That's good to hear. I will leave you both. You can call me if you need anything"

I nodded. After he left, I sat down on the bed while she kept standing, face bowed. "Hey, you!!". She raised her head slowly but said nothing. "Come close" I ordered. She only stared at me. I batted my lashes. Is she for real?. I stood up and walked up to her. I placed my hand on her face and lift it. I bend down a bit. She shifted her gaze in another direction. "Look at me" I ordered. She closed her eyes, not attempting to look at me. I rolled my eyes and held her face tightly. She whined. "Look at me!!".

She opened her eyes but closed them quickly. I hissed. Who the hell is this girl?. She only tends to respect me when she sees others but disrespects me when we are only. I will let her know who the boss is. " Now listen to me. If you want your stay in this room to be peaceful, you better not get I'm provoked. And just in case my mother has promised your safety. She lied. You will either die by my hand or by the hands of those vampires out there. So I won't repeat myself. Don't you dare come near me, except I say so? Do you understand?!!"

She shivered. "Ye... Yes"

I released her and turned. "Get lost"

She muttered some words and I turned. I dragged her back and she stared at me in shock. My anger was building up. I placed my hand on her neck and squeezed it. "What did you say? Huh?". She tried freeing my hand from my neck but didn't succeed cause I was stronger. She coughed. "What did you say?!!"

She kept struggling as I pierced my fingers into her tender skin. My eyes were red already and I was losing control of myself. All I wanted at that moment was to kill her. How dares she call me names?. The knock on the door diverted my attention. I reduced my grip on her neck. "Who is there?"

"Eunice"

I hissed and released my hand from her neck, pushing her off in the process. She must have landed with a great thud cause she screamed so loud. I ignored her scream and walked to the door. "What do you want?"

"I brought your food. Can I come in?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. I turned in Elmira's direction and she scurried away immediately. l opened the door and Eunice walked in. She looked around as if looking for something but changed her mind. She dropped the tray on the table.

I walked up to her. "What's in there?"

She chuckled. "Deer's blood and heart. It's fresh, just the way you like it". I groaned. She talks too much. "Open it". She opened it and I sniffed it. She was right. it's fresh Deer's blood and heart. "You can leave"

She turned to leave but stopped. "And your pet. I couldn't get something for her to eat"

I rolled my eyes. I've forgotten she doesn't feed on blood. I hissed. Mom had just decided to stress me for no reason. "Don't worry. She will sort herself out"

She sighed. "See you later at the ball"

I furrowed my brows. "What ball?"

She chuckled. "My dad didn't tell you?". I hissed and she chuckled. "It's our yearly spring festival. It's a time when most vampires choose and get to know their mates. I got mine last year spring. I heard you don't have a mate yet". I widened my eyes. Mom brought me here for this?. She made me come this far just to choose a mate?. I brushed my hair backward angrily. "Is it true you have no...."

I tapped my feet on the floor angrily and she chuckled. "You're such an impatient fellow. Well, see you at the ball"

I watch her leave and I sat down on the bed. I can't believe my mom did this to me!!. I hit the table angrily and someone flinched. I hissed. I've forgotten about my pet. I stood up and walked in the direction of her heartbeat. She was behind a curtain. I pulled the curtain to the side and she sat up quickly. I stared at her for a while and turned. I decided to go take my bath. Maybe that will ease my anger and bring back my lost appetite. I walked into the bathroom.

I was seated on the couch, sketching. That's the only thing I find pleasure in aside from killing. I've been sketching for an hour I had decided to sketch right after I took my bath and ate my food.  I was almost done sketching when I had a knock on the door. I hissed. Didn't mother told them how I hate been disturbed?.

I ignored the knocking and focused my attention on my sketching. The knocking persisted. This time it was more aggressive. I hissed and stood up. Who the hell wants to break down my door?!!. The knocking suddenly stopped and I wondered if the person knocking was tired. I wanted to turn and go sit down but something kept pushing me to the door. I walked closer to the door and couldn't hear a faint heartbeat. I opened the door and someone almost fell but I was quick to hold her. Her eyes were closed and she was becoming pale already. Who is this?. I stared at the face. Wait!. It's Elmira. What the heck is she doing outside?.

Eunice rushed towards us. "Is she ok?. Was she hurt?". I rolled my eyes. This Elmira of a girl is something else!!. She touched her face. "She should be fine. Please keep her safe next time. I won't be here always to save her"

"What was she doing outside?"

She moved back quickly, closed her eyes, and breath in, then out. "She's bleeding, you should take her in. I can't hold myself much longer"

I sighed and left her up. "Thanks" I muttered before realizing it. I groaned and closed the door behind me.

"I'll go get the first aid" Eunice yelled from outside.

I looked around. The couch won't be comfortable for her. I had to place her on the bed, while I wait for Eunice to come with the first aid box.
