Chapter 132: Chapter 132
"I’VE HEARD that threat before– you really are Hunter Soobin and Hunter Semi’s younger sister."
Wonhee knew what President Kwon Jiwoong was talking about.
[I heard Soobin Oppa and Semi Unnie threatened to leave Korea during the time I was arrested for "drug abuse."]
Thanks to that, her older siblings were accused of being traitors.
"President Kwon, you should be more scared of my threat than theirs," Wonhee said calmly. Her voice was soft as usual, but the hostility was there. She’d say dealing with President Kwon Jiwoong was good practice for her villainess role. "President Kwon, if I talk about the things I suffered from while I was locked up in APA HQ’s before, do you think people would still trust you?"
She agreed to keep quiet about the truth in exchange for Yejun’s freedom.
However, she could always open her mouth and forget the deal that she made with APA.
[They started it anyway.]
President Kwon Jiwoong looked at Wonhee with cold eyes. "Miss Chu, do you really want to do this?"
"Of course, I don’t," Wonhee said, her voice and expression both pitiful. If anyone saw and heard her right now, they would think that the APA President was bullying her and not the other way around. "I don’t want to fight anyone. All I want is for Hunter Do Ahyeon to continue as being my personal bodyguard."
"You already have the Big 4 around you, Miss Chu," President Kwon said firmly. "Please don’t be selfish."
"If President Kwon is going to accuse of me being selfish, then might as well act like one," Wonhee said. Of course, her voice still sounded kind. Yes, she was fully showcasing her acting prowess. "Should I build my own guild and recruit the Big 4?"
This time, President Kwon Jiwoong’s pupils shook hard.
"I’ll go if our Hee-ya recruits me," Soobin said, laughing. "It’s no brainer."
Semi nodded in agreement. "Of course, I won’t be able to reject my precious baby sister’s invitation if that happens."
"I can’t leave the National Guide Center, but I can promise my sister-in-law that I’ll cooperate with her when it comes to recruiting Guides for her guild," Geon said, smiling. "Wherever our Hee-ya decides to build her guild."
"Ahn Kisoo and I owe Chu Wonhee, so I’ll do it," Graham said casually. "I’ll just let Chu Wonhee’s guild absorb mine. I’m tired of being the Guildmaster anyway~"
"I’ll think about it," Song Moonho said, shrugging. "But if Yool-ssi is there, then I might be tempted."
Graham glared at Song Moonho.
Before the two could fight again, Yejun already spoke.
"I’ll go wherever Wonhee wants me to go," Yejun said playfully. "Kwon Jiwoong, I heard my guild members are back in the country. If they quit the Winter Guild, then they’ll be free from your grasp, right?"
President Kwon Jiwoong only glared at Yejun.
Wonhee wasn’t done threatening the APA President yet, so she pulled out her phone and made a call. She even put it on loudspeaker for everyone to hear. "Hamin-ssi?"
Fortunately, she exchanged contact numbers with Guildmaster Hamin last time.
<"Ah, Chu Wonhee. What can I do for you?">
"Would Hamin-ssi join my guild if I build one?"
The answer that came from Hamin was short but quick and firm.
"Thank you, Hamin-ssi. See you later."
And then Wonhee ended the call.
[I feel bad for acting like a spoiled brat, so let’s wrap it up here.]
"President Kwon, please look away from Hunter Do Ahyeon to maintain the peace in our country," Wonhee said, smiling. "Can you do that for me?"
Of course, President Kwon Jiwoong couldn’t say anything right away.
That was when Yejun snapped his fingers.
The sound of devices breaking one by one followed.
It seemed like there were several cameras and listening devices installed in the room. Even the phones of the APA Hunters behind President Kwon Jiwoong broke.
[Did Yejun catch them filming us in secret?]
President Kwon Jiwoong glared at Yejun this time. "What do you think you’re doing, Hwang Frost?"
"Protecting my Wonhee’s privacy," Yejun said bluntly. "I won’t give you the chance to film her and edit the video or audio in a way that will put her in a bad light."
Of course, the APA President couldn’t say anything back.
"Let’s get this done and over with, okay?" Yejun said impatiently. "You’ll leave the baby herbivore alone, Kwon Jiwoong– end of story."
President Kwon Jiwoong sighed. "Why don’t we ask for Hunter Do Ahyeon’s opinion first–"
"I-I want to stay as Wony Noona’s bodyguard!" Ahyeon said, addressing Wonhee as usual instead of addressing her formally. "I-I d-don’t want to work anywhere else!"
Wonhee smiled, moved by Ahyeon’s loyalty.
It was a complete defeat for APA, and President Kwon Jiwoong knew it.
But he wasn’t about to give up yet.
"Fine," President Kwon Jiwoong said, and then he looked at Wonhee with dead eyes. "But if the country needs Hunter Do Ahyeon’s help, then Miss Chu has to lend him to APA."
Wonhee just have President Kwon Jiwoong a kind smile.
[I neither accepted nor rejected his request.]

Yejun looked around when he felt a sudden change in the wind.
Everyone who was with Do Ahyeon in the Blue House earlier was now outside, getting ready to leave.
He wanted to go home with Wonhee right away because he was feeling ominous.
However, Kwon Jiwoong just had to pester Wonhee again.
"Miss Chu, I hope you haven’t forgotten our deal yet," Kwon Jiwoong said firmly, and then he pointed at Lee Seodam. "You must take Hunter Lee Seodam as your second bodyguard. APA wishes to protect you as well."
Yejun let out a sigh and was about to give Kwon Jiwoong a piece of his mind, but Song Moonho grabbed him by the shoulder.
[This old bastard...]
"What is it, Yejun-ah?" Song Moonho whispered in a serious tone. "You look restless. If you can feel a Crack about to burst open again, then spill it now."
Yejun grabbed the back of his neck because the hair on his nape was acting up. "It’s not a Crack, but I have a bad feeling. We should seriously call a shaman or something to ward off the bad energy around the Blue House. I feel ominous, but I’m not sure what causes my warning bells to ring this time."
Song Moonho looked at Yejun silently before he let go of his shoulder. "Then we should leave right away–"
It was at that moment.
The ground below their feet suddenly turned into water– and not just any water.
Impure Mana, to be precise.
The negative energy seemed to have sealed EVERYONE’S abilities because Yejun suddenly felt powerless.
But he only cared about one thing.
Yejun tried to run towards Wonhee, but a wall of Impure Mana that looked like murky water repelled and sent him flying towards the opposite direction.
WONHEE was actually dissociating because she didn’t want to listen to President Kwon Jiwoong’s nagging.
The APA President wanted her to take Lee Seodam with her as her additional guard.
To be honest, she wanted to go home because she felt restless.
Her heart was beating hard and fast against her chest, and she was feeling a bit cold.
[Am I having palpitations because of the iced coffee I had this morning?]
"Wonhee-ya, you’ve changed."
Wonhee didn’t like how Lee Seodam sounded like he was disappointed in her. "Hunter Lee, I don’t think we have the kind of relationship where we should be having this kind of conversation. Let’s keep it professional, please."
"Don’t be , Miss Chu," Seodam said, addressing her formally after she addressed him by his Hunter title. "This is not you."
"Hey, don’t fight," President Kwon Jiwoong chimed in. "Let’s talk this out."
Wonhee was about to call Yejun when the ground suddenly turned from concrete to...
And, in just the blink of an eye, Wonhee found herself trapped inside what seemed like a water sphere.
When she looked around, she realized that everyone around her had been pushed out.
Wonhee flinched when she saw Lee Seodam clutching his head tight with his eyes closed.
It was clear that he was in pain.
"Hunter Lee, are you alright?" Wonhee asked, a bit worried. She wasn’t a psycho who enjoyed seeing other people in pain, after all. "Did you get hurt?"
She tried to approach Seodam.
But she stopped when she noticed the strange black fog behind him.
[My warning bells are ringing loud in my head.]
And she could see that all her loved ones were banging the wall of water that trapped her inside that water sphere.
[They can’t get in to rescue me.]
When she looked over her shoulder to look for an exit, she was surprised to see a whirlpool behind her.
It actually looked like a portal.
[It’s not a Crack, is it?]
Wonhee looked forward again, and was surprised to see Lee Seodam standing so close to her.
[When did he get here?]
It scared her a bit because Lee Seodam was covering his eyes with his hand.
Wonhee stood firmly because the whirlpool was just behind her. "Hunter Lee, please don’t invade my personal space–"
"Acting like a villainess doesn’t suit you."
Lee Seodam removed his hand from his face, revealing his glowing red eyes.
That gave Wonhee the chills.
"You should have stayed like the saintess that you were supposed to be, Wonhee-ya."
Lee Seodam smiled, and then HE PUSHED WONHEE.
And Wonhee helplessly got sucked into the whirlpool behind her as her Status Window popped up in front of her while she was falling.
