Chapter 12: Chapter 12
Twelve
Cindy woke up that day with uneasy feeling. She guess that her journalist friend who gave the news about Vian yesterday may did not lying.
While in the cafetaria construction, Cindy then saw Vian and Karin hugging. She felt angry and immediately got out of the car to see them. She then pushed Karin away from Vian
Vian's words that she heard afterwards were so painful. It turned out that all this time, the attention she gave, was never considered by that man.
She felt that everything that happened to her and Vian's feeling was because of Karin. Karin who had captured Vian's heart from her. She then followed Karin who had left from there.
Karin did decide to leave because she didn't want to make a fuss.
She was stunned when she saw Cindy coming to her.
"Tell me what is your relationship with Vian? Why are you always around Vian?" Cindy asked, grabbing the girl's hand.
"Didn't you hear and believe what Vian said?" Karin asked back.
"I only work here and have nothing to do with Vian. After this work is done, I will leave here immediately, so you don't have to be worried."
Even though she had heard Karin and Vian's explanation, Cindy still worried if Karin stayed close to Vian.
Vian then came to catch up with Cindy.
"Let's get out of here," he said, taking her hand.
"What do you mean? I still want to know what your relationship with Karin is," said Cindy, who was still adamant.
"'I told you, we were nothing. Why won't you listen?"
"I can't believe you guys. You guys are always together. There must be other feelings between you two."
"There's no such thing between us!" Vian said. He did it so that Cindy wouldn't keep showing up and bothering Karin. He then pulled Cindy's hand away from there and escorted the girl to her car. Cindy still looked objected, but Vian insisted on telling the girl to go home. Not wanting to make Vian angry, Cindy could only obey him.
Even so, the next day and the next day after, the girl still appeared to watch over Vian and Karin.

Days later, although it wasn't very comfortable because Cindy and the reporters were there, the work on the cafeteria project was finally done. Karin smiled proudly to see that the building had stood uniquely and attractively. The shades of light blue that she uses seem to blend well with the surroundings. Ornamental plants as decorations also give a simple splendor of that place. Karin was so happy to see the results of her work so satisfying.
Vian came and stood beside Karin. He then also greeted Karin who had successfully built a cafeteria so well. He also thanked Karin for stay to complete the project.
"What do you think? Is that good?" Karin asked. She always asked the person who gave the project to her. She was worried that they were still dissatisfied with her work.
"That's not only good but very good" said Vian while holding up two thumbs up. The man then turned to Karin with a smile.
"I invite you to come to the opening of the cafeteria. You can also come with Silvi or Edwin," said Fian.
"I... I don't think I can come," Karin said quietly.
"You have to come. You are the one who built this cafeteria. Don't you want to see when this place opens?"
"But...." There was doubt in Karin's tone. This was her job and she wanted to see people's reactions, but she also worried may have trouble at that opening event.
"You must come!" Said Vian
"This is the result of your hard work, of course you deserve to see it."
"After all, this is our last meeting, after that we may not meet again. So just think of this as a farewell event and the end of our cooperation," Vian continued.
Karin turned and looked at that man. She is feeling sadness has clotted in her heart. She would soon separate with Vian, but why did it feel so heavy. Karin then shook her head to wake herself up.
'Think logically, Karin. It's time to get out of trouble and go back to life in peace, so you don't have to be sad,' Karin said to herself.

On the opening day of the cafeteria, Karin and Silvi were already getting ready. Silvi who was wearing a pink chiffon dress repeatedly looked at herself in the large mirror in front of the wardrobe.
Karin herself was wearing a black and white dress and she looked so charming.
Silvi was amazed to see her best friend's appearance, which was usually the way she has use casual clothes.
"Wow, Karin, you look so amazing. You look so beautiful, the men at the party must have been mesmerized to see you," she said with a smile and a thumbs up.
"You're beautiful too," Karin complimented
her best friend.
"They'll definitely be fascinated by you too, maybe you're even more popular than me.
Silvi just laughed at the compliment. They then immediately left the house with a rent car that had been called before.

The atmosphere at the cafeteria opening party was very lively. Not long, Karin and Silvi arrived at the place. They saw that many famous people had come there.
"Well, I don't think we are too appropriate to come to this kind of thing," said Silvi. She and Karin just watched from outside the place. Karin herself stood up hesitantly.
Silvi again said,
"Maybe we should just go home?"
Karin still remained silent. Doubt was still etched on her face.
Not long after, Vian came out from inside and met Karin
"Come on, you have to come in," he said.
"Vian, we think we should just go home," Karin said
"You're already here. Why don't you come in?" asked that man while looking at Karin.
"Looks like it's not the place for us," Karin replied.
Vian grabbed Karin's hand. He knew Karin felt uncomfortable because there were a lot of people there she didn't know. After all, socializing with entertainer with their glamorous lives is not the life that Karin usually lives.
Karin looked back at Vian. That man then asked Karin again.
"Come on, you have to come in. You don't need to worry. I always there with you. I will accompany you and will not leave you," said Vian. Karin still looked at Vian and saw that man nodded and said to go in one more time.
Because Vian kept forcing Karin finally could only obey. She let Vian guide her. She then entered the party room with Silvi.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, where is this angel come from?" said the voice of someone who was none other than Matthew. He kept looking at Karin with a smile.
