Chapter 84: Chapter 84

Chapter 84

Madian believed that Flora's arrogance was due to Enzo. After all, an ordinary girl could become the wife of the most powerful and wealthy man, and she would naturally display her pride and act high and mighty. However, Flora simply thought Madian was being annoying and that she wouldn't have been involved in these matters if it weren't for Enzo.

"You may act haughty, but don't forget your background. Now, Mr. Enzo may be interested in you, but he will soon grow tired, and then you'll be like a dog that's been chased away," Madian arrogantly stated, feeling superior as Flora didn't respond.

Flora's intentions aligned with Madian's, she wanted Enzo to grow tired of her and push her away. However, Enzo was obsessed with her, a psychological disturbance that made her doubt he wouldn't let her go easily.

Flora sighed in the face of these two, not knowing the depth of Madian's feelings for Enzo, but she also didn't want to care. "I hope what you're saying is true, and I'm eagerly looking forward to it."

"What are you expecting?" Enzo rushed to find Flora, having just entered the room and overheard her words. His gaze on her was cold, but it didn't make Flora flinch, she didn't want to look at him and turned away.

In contrast, Madian was elated to see Enzo release Flora and approach her. "Mr. Enzo, I'm Madian. I didn't know you were here resting. I have a gift for your son; I wonder if you'll like it?" Madian spoke while moving closer to Enzo, her eyes filled with admiration and respect as if the man before her were a noble god.

"I'm asking you, Flora, what are you expecting?" Enzo didn't care about the girl next to him, walking towards Flora. He had overheard Flora's conversation with the other girl, although not entirely.

Flora didn't want to answer; she had only wanted to rest and enjoy the solitude, but now she was bothered by these two people. She pushed Enzo, who was getting closer, away and sighed, "Whatever the matter is, deal with it with her. Please don't bother me anymore. I'm really tired, and I want to rest." With that, Flora quickly left the room, fearing that the two of them might chase after her.

Enzo was extremely uncomfortable being pushed away, and he glared at Madian with a cold, unfeeling look, causing her to shiver. Madian realized that the bond between Enzo and Flora was crumbling, and she felt this was her opportunity. If successful...

"I didn't say anything; your wife told me that the two of you no longer have feelings for each other. She comes from a humble background and doesn't appreciate what she has because of you. A woman who doesn't know her place can be quite irritating to others. I know you're a good man and I don't want to be hurt you by a woman like her. A wife should care for and love her husband... if she were me, I would never hurt you like she does." Madian moved closer to Enzo, gently holding his hand as she spoke. Her eyes were sparkling and charming, and she leaned in, exuding allure and sensuality. Madian was pleased because no man had ever rejected such a beautiful and gentle woman as herself.

Enzo glanced at Madian, his gaze sharp and indifferent, as he said, "You're right. My wife has long lost her feelings for me. That's why I'm trying my best to make her love me again. I love her so much that I would do anything to make her happy, but even then, she doesn't want me."

"Excuse me?" Madian choked and looked at Enzo, astonished by his words.

"So, a fly like you dares to speak to my wife like that? How do you dare casually chat with my wife and make her angry, you trash!" Enzo snarled, mercilessly gripping Madian's throat. Madian panicked, flailing about, unable to scream for help until he was strangling her.

"A! Are you crazy, Enzo? Let her go quickly!" Flora had initially gone to another room but realized there were no drinks in that room, so she returned to the previous room and witnessed this horrifying scene with Enzo choking Madian.

Hearing his wife's voice, Enzo immediately released his grip, and he approached Flora with a smile, like a little dog seeing its owner, but Flora paid him no mind. She hurried to Madian and examined her condition. Madian was still breathing, her face red from the struggle to breathe, and her eyes filled with panic and fear.

"Are you okay?" Flora asked with concern. She couldn't believe that Enzo had acted so ruthlessly toward a girl like this. Flora believed that Madian didn't have any serious issues besides difficulty breathing, so she turned to Enzo, raising her voice to question him, "Are you crazy, Enzo? Do you really want to kill her? If I hadn't come back in time, would you really have killed her? You must be mentally ill!"

Enzo wasn't pleased with Flora's scolding, feeling unfairly accused of doing anything wrong. "You scold me for the sake of that bitch? Well, then, she deserves to be punished."

The term "punished" sent shivers down Flora's spine. She knew that in Enzo's words, "punishment" was undoubtedly cruel and horrifying, and Madian might pay with her life. Flora didn't know what had transpired between the two of them while she was away, but it seemed that Madian had provoked Enzo, leading to this situation.

"That's enough. Stop your cruel actions right now, Enzo. Madian, you need to leave immediately," Flora said, trembling at Enzo's words. If she didn't intervene, she was sure that Madian would not survive the night, just like Rika.

Enzo chuckled, amused by Flora's fear but trying to appear strong and in control. He was genuinely angry at this point. "My dear, do you think a few words from you can protect that little fly?"

"ENZO! Don't joke around, this is not funny at all!" Flora shouted, trembling all over as she had to face a murderer like him. Madian, frightened, retreated and hurriedly left the room, her earlier grace and charm replaced by sheer terror.

"Hmm, she's no different from a stupid, clueless dog. Truly nauseating," Enzo commented without chasing after her, just watching her leave.

Flora quickly ran to the door and closed it, fearing that Enzo might follow Madian and truly harm her. "You are not allowed to leave!" Flora panted, speaking firmly.

Enzo let out a light laugh, she appeared scared but tried to assert her dominance over him, making it hard for him not to laugh. While he had intended to strangle Madian if Flora didn't stop him, he didn't have much time to chase after a mere fly.

"You say I'm not allowed to leave, so I won't leave, really?" Enzo smirked, advancing toward Flora, causing her to tremble and shudder.

"You... please don't come any closer!" Flora pleaded. She knew that Enzo wouldn't kill her, but that didn't mean she wasn't afraid of him. "As long as you don't pursue and harm Madian, I will comply with one of your requests. Madian is just a newly grown girl, and you've already terrified her beyond reason. If you still have a shred of humanity, it's best that you stop!"

Flora exclaimed, uncertain whether her words held any weight with the madman before her. This was his mansion, and there was no need for him to chase after anyone, a simple call to his security would suffice to keep Madian in check. Flora was determined to do whatever it took to divert Enzo's attention away from Madian.

"You say... fulfill a request of mine, right?" Enzo smirked, Flora's words successfully capturing his attention. He never thought his wife would actually agree to a request over a mere "fly".

Flora took a deep breath and said, "Yes, but your request must be within reason. Don't go unreasonable"

Enzo swiftly approached and embraced Flora, whispering in her ear with a warm, husky voice that sent shivers down her spine, as if he were holding her captive.

"Of course, I won't ask for anything unreasonable. I only expect you to fulfill your duties as a wife. That's certainly within your capabilities, isn't it, my dear?" Enzo said, tightening his grip around her waist. His other hand gently caressed Flora's bare back, greedily inhaling the sweet fragrance on her.

Flora held his hand tightly, keeping her lips sealed, allowing Enzo to touch her as he pleased.

"Why are you so silent?" Enzo noticed Flora's lack of response, but instead of a reply, he saw her standing still, permitting his advances. Though uncertain if it was consent, he understood her silence as agreement.

"It's not like we haven't done this before. No need to be so tense. Even without that pesky fly, we would have ended up doing something like this," Enzo said, leaning down to plant a gentle kiss on her forehead, then trailing down. When he tried to kiss her lips, Flora furrowed her brow, turned away, and refused to kiss him.

Flora turned around and pushed him away, "If you want to have sex, go to bed. You don't have to do that, just like before."

Just like before, Enzo treated her like a sex slave and made love madly without any kisses or affection at all. If it were before, she would have been hurt by Enzo's indifference, but now she just wants him to be like before.

But Enzo doesn't think so.
