Chapter 15: Chapter 15
"Yes, this is the curse, it landed on William's father and he built this house to catch that monster from killing innocents and everyone who found its way."
"
Monster ? "
A hybrid for someone to be a hybrid today is a rarity, if not without looking at Andrew to complete it.
"Yes, but the bad thing is that that side wakes up and William can't control it, his father killed so many people in the beginning that he didn't know what he was going to do. That side controlled him and started sucking the blood of anyone on his way to death, and so the idea came to him that He restrains himself so as not to kill anyone, and William, who suffers from the same curse, is doing the same thing."
"And what about his mother?"
"My dad used to come here every full moon"
"You mean my uncle? He knew?"
“Yes, he knew, of course, because he was the one who helped him.”
What about the full moon?
"Do you remember that William told you the sentence that the witch said?"
" Yes "
Do you remember the part when she said 'On this day in your life'??
" Yes "
"I get it, finish talking about his mother."
Whoever my father was would come here with him and help him as I do now with William every month, but unless it was taken into account that one day William's mother had followed them without them noticing and somehow
"Although there was a complicated relationship between William's father and mother when I learned who that witch was, whatever this is another story, you can learn the details from William in the future if you are together."
"And how long will it stay like this?" I asked him
“Until the moon begins to descend from its zenith, that is, until five hours or more have passed.”
"That's a lot," I told him
"Yes, it really is a lot."
"William doesn't deserve this," I told him
" Know "
"Andrew... I feel like my heart is going to pieces" I told him to give me a hug
"I know it must be too much for you, and I can't say anything but that it is your destiny."
"Isn't there a solution to this? Didn't you look for a solution that wasn't and witches didn't exist?"
"So what? Will he continue to live like this?" I said as I turned away from him and looked at him
"Most likely, I mean, it wouldn't be bad if you were by his side, at least he'd be able to feel happy with you, the happiness he lost a long time ago, I'm not forcing you, Alison, I'm just giving my opinion and the basic decision to you." He looked at me as if trying to figure out what I thought.
We sat there for a while I'm just drowning in my thoughts trying to arrange everything but I don't succeed in that my thinking comes back to the person who is in pain inside.
I don't know how long we've been sitting here, the place was moonlit but it started to disappear when the climax fell I looked at Andrew who seemed to be teleporting to someone after he finished standing and extended his hand for me to grab it and stand
"Let's go." We headed toward the house, walked toward his car, opened the door, and signaled me to enter
" what ?" I Saied to him
Minutes later, Andrew got out and headed to the driver's seat
"And what about him? Will he be alright alone??? Maybe you should stay with him and I'll lead the herd alone?"
"The hardest part is over now. He just needs to rest. Tomorrow he will be at full strength and gulping down the herd. Also, he won't let you drive alone at night for such a long distance, and I'm like him too." I nodded to him.
“But do you know the name of that witch?” I asked him
"Yes, how are we going to look for her if we don't know her name?"
" What is the ?"
"Olivia Stark, why?"
"I just got curious, but when did you two stop looking for her?"
"Many years ago we only looked for her for two years when William started to suffer from the same things his father was suffering."
"And when was that, I mean, when did the curse on William begin?"
"When he turned into a wolf"
"You mean at years old?"
"Yes, and also, we do not forget that during that period many herds tried to attack and kill him to control the herd, but he succeeded in saving himself and saving our herd." He told me to nod to him to continue our return to the herd. I entered my room in Andrew's house and lay on the bed trying to organize my thoughts and decisions.
Allison's POV
I closed my bag and when I put my last piece of clothing in, I opened the door and pulled my bag with me to reach the front door where Andrew and Adele were waiting for me.
“So is that your decision?” Andrew asked me
“Yes,” I replied
"It's okay, I wish you happiness," he replied
"Thanks. May I know where is William? I want to talk to him before I go?"
"He's in his office at the station, give me your bag and your car keys, I'll wait for you in the garage." I gave him the key and bag before I looked at Adele.
"Adele, thank you for taking care of me during this time" I told her to give her a hug
“We are a family and this is our duty,” she replied while hugging me too before I walked away and left the house heading to the center
As soon as I entered, I did not find the guard, so I went to his office and knocked on the door to hear his voice allowing me to enter.
“Hello.” I said softly, shaking his head in response
“I wanted to tell you that I will return to my flock.” I saw a look in his eyes as if it was a look of sadness and disappointment, then I returned to his normal cold look.
"Of course, that's what should happen. You made a good decision," he told me in his raspy voice
"Can you help me with something?" I Saied to him
" Yes "
“May I know what the rules are for the admission of a new individual into your flock?”
"Why? Does someone want to enter my herd?"
" Yes "
"I don't know. There are many laws, but since it's someone you know, I'll make him enter. Just give me his name and I'll let Christine take care of him. But does he belong in your herd or does he belong to no herd?"
"Yes, it belongs to my flock."
"Then your brother should tell the alpha first and give him all his papers to belong to your herd and some of them will come to me."
"Oh my God, why are there all these complications?"
"It's okay, register his name here, at least I can do something for you at last, since I didn't do anything as a companion for you." He said and gave me a paper and a pen, I grabbed it and wrote the name and returned it to him. He grabbed the paper and looked at the name for a long time before he looked at me as if asking for an inquiry.
