Chapter 16: Chapter 16
"I'm going to my herd because I have to tell my brother that I've found my companion and that I'm staying in his herd I'm going for a few days and some I'll come back to your side that's my decision," I told him with a smile, but he just looked at me softly before standing and turning around his desk and standing right in front of me
"But..." he said to interrupt him
"Without, but you are the one who said that it was my decision and you will not interfere with it whoever it is. There is no retraction in your words."
"I get it, I just don't want you to regret it anymore. You might have a better life without me."
"Believe me, I wouldn't have a better life without you, but it would be worse, so accept it too, because from now on you have a girlfriend."
"I.. I don't know what I'm going to do. I was expecting that you'd refuse to stay by my side after all I saw."
"No... I can't. You're my companion as I am your companion. We must stay together because we are friends for a reason," I replied .
"But I think there are many laws and more complications regarding my transition from my herd to your herd. What should I do?" I told him while I furrowed my eyebrows
"You don't have to think about that, you are a color and a law that automatically makes you one of our herd, and anything else that belongs to you, I will be assigned to it with your brother." He answered me
"Okay then I'll leave those boring paperwork to you and I'm just going to spend some time with my family and then gather my things and come back here" I answered him summingly hoping maybe but he didn't smile I think I should work on making him smile in the future I looked at my watches I should go so I don't I'm late.
“I have to go,” I told him, before moving forward, wrapping my hands around his waist and placing my head on his chest in a hug. Not a second passed until William gave me a tighter hug as he puts his head over mine. I fit perfectly in his lap. I was made for this place.
We stayed like this, we both hated parting, but I had to go.
"Alison..." His voice stopped me and I turned to him , "Are you really going back?"
"Of course, I promise, you only wait a week for me." I told him
He nodded his head agreeably and said to me, "Drive with caution." Before I walked out of the parking lot, I found Andrew standing leaning on my car.
"So are you done saying goodbye?"
“Yes, now it’s your time.” I came close to him and let us hug each other
"Take good care of yourself," he told me as we parted
"You, too, take care of William for me."
"You don't have to worry, I will continue to take care of him and I may also introduce a girl to him in the future, we need color for our herd." He said to me with a smile I looked at him angrily
"Do it and I'll make you regret it, starting with telling Adele your secrets you didn't know when you were little," I told him.
"Why do you care about him, haven't you decided?"
"Of course I've decided to stay by his side. I just need to go tell Austin and say goodbye." He looked at me with his eyes wide in shock before shouting happily and hugging me again.
“Really??? Are you coming back? ” he asked me
"Yes, why doesn't either of you believe me, and William also didn't believe it."
"Because it seems unbelievable, whoever it is, come on, so you don't be late," he said as he opened my car door to get up for his plate and started driving.
After a few hours
I put my bag in my room after I met my brother and Megan, but Zach did not meet him, he was sleeping, it was already night, so I decided that I just wanted to sleep and rest today after driving for a long time. I will talk to my brother tomorrow. I lay on the bed and closed my eyes to sleep.
I got up in the morning and put on my gym clothes and started my day of training I still had a week to go back to William's herd so I'll carry on with my work these days I tried to finish a little early so I have to do something.
I went to my car and got into the city to go to the middle of the restaurant.
"What can I bring you?" he asked me
"Tell your boss that Alison wants to see him." He looked at me hesitantly before leaving. A few minutes later I saw a man in his thirties sitting across from me.
"It's been a long time, Alison."
"Let's skip the introductions, Leo."
"Okay, what do you want?"
"I remember you owed me something."
"Yes, and I hope to repay the debt quickly so that I do not see you again."
"And believe me too, I need you to find someone."
"You mean track down?"
“Yes, I only have her name, and the rest is up to you.” I grabbed the piece of paper on which I had written the name of the witch that Andrew had told me, and underlined my phone number, and gave it to him.
"This is my name and my phone number too. If you find out anything about her, call me."
"I understand, but tell me what you are first, werewolf?? Vampire?"
"She's a witch"
"It will be more difficult then."
"I know, but it's not impossible. You are the best tracker among the hunters. I know you can spot it." I told him to stand up and look at him.
"I'll wait for your call"
“Okay.” He answered me to get out of the restaurant and head to my car to go home
Leo he's a hunter, I know we're not on good terms with a werewolf and a hunter who's not in a good relationship, but I saved his life one time, and he told me he didn't want to owe anything to a werewolf and he told me where this restaurant is. So I hope he finds that witch, I know that William and Andrew didn't hire a hunter to find her, so there's a chance he'll find her if she's not dead.
