Winter's POV

"Ah, I'm so glad that you agreed to go with us." Summer said with a smile on her face as soon as we arrived at the said meeting place.

She organized a family trip, including me, Matthew, and Elisse. I actually wanted to refuse, but then Matthew convinced me and said that it would be a great time for us to bond with the whole family. Also, Elisse really wanted to go.

"Grandpa. Are you sure it's alright for you to travel?" I walked over to grandpa who was busy talking to Matthew.

He smiled at me. "What do you think of your grandpa, an old hag who can't walk anymore?"

"It's not like that. I just—

"Ah, come on. Stop worrying about me and just make sure you and your husband, together with your daughter, will have fun there."

"Fine. We'll have some fun there. That's for sure."

"Mommy! Is it going to snow there?!" Elisse asked me.

I lifted her up in my arms. "Of course. That is why we brought sweaters and gloves with us. We are going to climb mountains and skate there."

"Skating?! I want that!"

"Alright, guys! We're going to ride the family's private plane going there! Be ready!" Summer cooed.

It will take us 16 hours to arrive in New Zealand via private plane. Good thing there were two bedrooms on each plane. Also, we would be flying with Summer, so it would be annoying if I see her all the time.

"Do you feel sleepy? Do you want to sleep?" Matthew asked Elisse.

"Yes."

Matthew tuck her in and kissed her on the forehead. "There, just sleep, and I'll wake you up when we're finally there."

"Me too. I want to sleep." I said as I sat on the bed beside him.

"You're old enough now. Just go to sleep and wake up later."

I glared at him before lying on the bed and hugging him. He widened his eyes at me, probably telling me not to flirt with him since Elisse was already sleeping beside him. I just smiled at him, then I closed my eyes to sleep. I even felt him kiss me on my forehead later on.

"Winter, wake up..."

"Mommy, we're already here."

I slowly opened my eyes and immediately saw Matthew and Elisse trying to wake me up. A smile immediately appeared on my face. "What beautiful faces I see. It's so nice waking up and seeing the face of my beautiful baby and handsome husband."

"Here, wear this. It's really freezing outside." Matthew said as he handed me a brown sweater and some gloves.

"Oh, you really prepared everything. I don't know what I did during my past life to have a sweet husband like you."

His ears turned bright red as he averted his gaze and shifted his attention to Elisse instead. Seeing him getting embarrassed makes me want to kiss him every single time. I changed into the sweater he gave me and put on some gloves and boots before the three of us decided to step out of the private plane.

Before getting to our manor, we even had to drive all the way there.

"Mommy! look outside! The mountains and houses look so beautiful!" Elisse said while looking outside the car's window.

"Wow! It looks really nice, isn't it? The mountains look like those that you can see in magazines and computer backgrounds."

"Yes! This is the first time I've been to a place like this. Also, the first time I got to experience riding a plane."

I patted her head with a smile on my face. "And I'll make sure to take you to different beautiful places in the future. We're going to travel the whole wide world, the three of us."

"Thank you, mommy!"

Riding the car, it took us two hours until we finally arrived at the manor. It was already evening too and was snowing outside, s we decided to just stay and have dinner together.

"It's been a while since we had dinner together like this, right? It's so good to see us complete again, although grandma isn't here." There goes Summer with her dramatic monologue, once again.

"The last time we came here was when you and Winter were just kids. I remember the two of you fighting over that pink glove as if you don't have so many of them in your closet."

"I really like that glove because it was from you, grandpa."

Grandpa smiled at her. "That's why Winter likes it very much, too. You even fought over that gloves and I ended up buying two sets of the same gloves just so you'd stop whining."

"Summer used to skate here, too. I remember all of our visitors clapping for her." mommy suddenly spoke.

After a while, the dining room was filled with conversation about how good Summer is, in all aspects. Since I am used to that already, I just continue eating until Matthew spoke. "Want to go trekking tomorrow?"

"Huh?"

"Let's climb that mountain we saw a while ago."

"Of course, let's--

"Oh no. You can't go somewhere else tomorrow. All of us will be going somewhere else. That's why it's called family vacation, right?" Summer cut me off.

Mommy then spoke, too. "Oh, just let them go wherever they want. We can just go anywhere together with Daddy."

"All of us should go together." grandpa added.

"Then, let's just do it the day after tomorrow?" Matthew asked me.

I nodded my head while smiling at him. "Sure, I'd love that."

"Daddy, can I go with you too?"

"Of course, you may. We will be having so much fun here, remember?"

A smile immediately appeared on her face. "I'm so excited!"

"Of course, you are. This is surely the first time you were able to go to a place like this. Just like your Daddy." I even heard mom say. I was about to say something to her, but Matthew stopped me.
