Chapter 103: Chapter 103
Winter's POV
Matthew and I have nothing to do, and since Elisse insisted she want to invite her friends over to our house, we agreed with her. And now, five of her friends are here. I thought Matthew and I could finally find a way to sneak out and be together, but it turns out he became the nanny of the kids. He did nothing but play and entertain them.
"Pumpkin, can you make an apple pie for me?" I asked him while he was reading a book for Elisse and her friends.
"I'll make one later." He just said without even looking at me.
He's really like that whenever he's with somebody else, even when he's doing something related to work. It's as if I suddenly disappear and don't exist at all. I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at him before finally standing up and reaching for my phone above the center table.
Since he's busy doing something, then I might as well do something too.
I dialed Ian's number and called him. "Hello, Ian?"
I noticed Matthew glanced my way when he heard Ian's name. I pretended not to notice him and stood up far away from them so he couldn't hear our conversation.
"Hey, why did you call? What's your problem?" Ian asked me over the phone.
"Can you come over?"
"To your house? Why? Is there a problem?"
"Just come over. I just want to have some fun since I don't have anything to do today. I'll also ask my employees to come over."
I heard him heave a sigh before speaking again. "Fine. Just make sure you're going to give us delicious food to eat."
"Alright, alright. Big-eater."
"What is that?" Matthew asked me when he saw me put my phone on the center table again.
I shook my head. "Nothing. I'll just change my clothes, you guys should continue playing there."

I changed my plain white tee and sweat pants into a yellow off-shoulder dress before going back to our living room.
"Are you going somewhere?" Matthew asked me.
But I didn't mind him, I just fixed my hair and looked at the kids instead. "Kids, how do I look?"
"You look so pretty, Miss Winter!"
"You look like a princess!"
"I want to look like you when I grow up!"
"Winter, I'll drive you to wherever you're going. You can't go there alone wearing that short dress." Matthew tried to reprimand me, but I turned my back to him and ran towards the door to wait for Ian and the others.
Instead of asking our maids to cook, I just asked Ian to bring some food for us and even whiskey. I swear I won't talk to Matthew all day. I'll do what I want since he doesn't even seem to care about whatever I do.
"We're already here!" Ian cooed as soon as I opened the door for them.
My five employees even bowed to me upon entering our house.
"Come on, you don't have to be so formal towards me in our house. Come in and let's have some fun!"
"Uncle Ian!!"
Elisse immediately ran towards Ian and hugged him. "Oh, I missed you so much too, Elisse. Wait, you seem to grow much bigger now, huh?"
"You won't notice the time until she finally outgrows us all." I said, then I looked at Elisse. "Alright, just stay there in the living room and keep playing, okay? Uncle Ian and all of us will be having some adult talk."
She politely nodded her head and smiled at me. "Okay, Miss Winter."
"That's my girl."
"You brought whiskey? Are you going to drink?" Matthew appeared in front of us again.
"Winter was the one who asked me to bring it." Ian blurted which made me glare at him.
Matthew gave me a deep gaze as if he was already reprimanding me in his head. But I shrugged it off and grabbed the two bottles of whiskey from Ian. "Let's go now and have some fun!"
After that, Matthew brought Elisse back again to the living room to continue playing with the other kids. The seven of us then proceeded to the kitchen and prepared everything.
"Miss Winter, your husband really looks so handsome!" Catherine, one of my employees said.
"That's right! Even though he has an eyepatch, you can't still deny the fact that he's incredibly handsome and hot!"
"Hey, stop talking about him as if you have never seen a handsome man in your life!" Ian growled.
"We don't get to see him everyday, so you're right."
I just laughed then when everything was ready, we all sat down.
"By the way, Winter. Why did you invite us here anyway?" Ian asked me.
"Nothing. As I told you a while ago, I just want to have some fun."
Denee, my secretary looked at me suspicious. "Or perhaps you're having an argument with your husband?"
"Let's not talk about that anymore, okay? Let's talk about something else."
We started eating the spicy fried chicken that Ian bought while talking about the funny moments in our lives. Elisse's friends also said goodbye after a while.
Matthew sneakily pretended to be getting some water from the fridge, but I could feel his gaze at me. Probably wondering why I don't talk to him.
"By the way, Miss Winter. What do you think of this man?" Denee suddenly showed me a photo of a man not wearing a shirt and showing his six pack abs.
Knowing Matthew was listening to us, I reacted exaggeratedly. "Oh! He is so handsome and hot! Just look at those abs of him! For sure his girlfriend is so lucky. For sure he's so good at kissing and he shows her how much he loves her even in front of so many people."
"Hey, I'm also good at kissing!" Ian said again.
"Right, you're good at it. That's why you accidentally bit my tongue when we had a hot kissing scene in a drama before." I teased him.
"H-Hey!"
We all got startled when Matthew closed the door of the fridge so loud that I really think he intended to do that before leaving the kitchen.
"What's his problem?" I whispered.
"He probably got jealous because he heard about your kissing scene with Sir Ian." Chloe said to me with a smile on her face.
I just shook my head and poured whiskey in my glass. "Jealous? That man doesn't even know that feeling exists. He doesn't get jealous so easily. I don't think he would get jealous even if I kiss Ian in front of him."
"It's not like that, Miss Winter. I think he's just matured, so he don't get jealous over some petty things. Also, he trusts you so much."
We continue drinking and talking about random things until it was ten in the evening already.
"We'll be going now, Miss Winter. Thank you so much for inviting us over."
I smiled as I waved at them. "Sure. I will definitely invite all of you over again."
"You should go to sleep early. Just look at your eyes." said Ian as he patted my head.
"Whatever, you punk. Just make sure you'll drive these girls home safely."
"Fine, fine I'll do that."
We waved goodbye to each other again before I finally closed the door. I almost jumped from where I am standing when I saw Matthew standing in front of me as I turned around.
"Do you finally have a time to talk to me?" he asked me with his brows furrowed.
I just gave him a single look, then I walked past him straight to the kitchen. I reached for the bottle of half empty whiskey and drunk straight from it. I was surprised when Matthew suddenly grabbed that bottle from me and drank it instead.
"H-Hey! That's my whiskey!"
He drank it until there wasn't left anymore. Then he wiped his mouth and put the bottle of whiskey above the table before looking at me. "Good kisser? Great body? You're complimenting other men even though you know your boyfriend is just around?"
He was looking straight into my eyes and I couldn't help feeling nervous because of how he was gazing at me. He took a step forward, so I stepped back. He kept on doing that until my bottom was already leaning on the kitchen island.
I could feel my heart beating so fast, but I still looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Oh, really I have a boyfriend? Who is he?"
He frowned, then he leaned forward at me. "You want to know him? Then, fine. I'll make you see who your boyfriend is."
Before I could even speak again, Matthew lifted me up and made me sit on the island. He stood between my legs and cupped both of my cheeks before claiming my lips.
I could taste the whiskey from his lips as he suck mine. He bit my lip and intertwined his tongue with mine. I was gently pushing him away so I could at least breathe for a while, but he didn't let go of me. Instead, he pulled me even closer to deepen the kiss.
Then I just heard the door open.
"I'm sorry, Miss Winter. I just forgot my phone---O-Oh...."
It was Chloe's voice. I didn't get to turn around and look at her since Matthew was still kissing me. I just heard the door close again.
