Chapter 104: Chapter 104

Winter's POV

Matthew and I were both panting when he finally moved away from me. He leaned his head on my shoulder while both of his hands were at my sides. That was the longest and most passionate kiss I have ever done in my entire life and I didn't know could really kiss like that, knowing that he's never had a girlfriend before.

"Don't do that again..." he suddenly murmured.

"H-Huh?"

He then raised his head and looked directly into my eyes. "Don't just drink like that and talk about some other guy."

I could feel my whole face getting hotter while looking at him. His ears were also bright red, his eyes looked misty. I bit my lip and nodded my head. "I-I promise... I won't talk about some other guy when you're around."

He tapped the island, which made me surprise. His brows were furrowed. "Even when I'm not around. You can't talk about them..."

"O-Okay... I promise."

I saw a glimpse of a smile on his face before he helped me go down.

"I'll lock the door. You probably forgot to lock it a while ago." he suddenly said, then headed to the door.

"That's right. That's why Chloe...."

My eyes widened as soon as I remember what had just happened a while ago. I followed Matthew to the door. "M-Matthew..."

"It's locked now. We can go to sleep already. Huh? What is it?"

"C-Chloe..."

"What about her?"

"She saw us a while ago... w-while we were kissing in the kitchen..."

"She did?" he innocently asked as if it didn't matter to him.

With my flushed face, I nodded my head. "Yes..."

"It's alright. We're in a relationship. It's natural for us to do that."

"But---

"Let's go to bed now. Stop worrying about that."

"O-Okay..."

Matthew held my hand as we proceeded upstairs. He was even the one who turned off my lampshade before saying goodnight.

Ian's POV

"Oh my God! Miss Winter is really so lucky to have such a handsome boyfriend!"

"That's right, and you know what, guys? I saw something a while ago when I returned to their house to get my phone..." Chloe said while blushing.

Really, these women. Simping over that asshole when I am more handsome than him. He obviously doesn't even care about Winter since he's just letting her drink with us like that. For sure, they argued when we left their house.

"So, what did you see a while ago?"

"I saw the two of them... kissing in the kitchen..."

I abruptly stopped the car upon hearing that.

"W-What is the problem?"

"Did we hit something?"

I balled my hands into fists. "C-Can you just stop talking about some unnecessary things while you're inside my car? Talk about it later! I'm getting distracted here!"

I lazily lay down on my bed as soon as I reached home. I shouldn't have driven for those women who only keep on talking about Winter's asshole boyfriend.

I stared at my ceiling while remembering how Winter smiles whenever she talks about her boyfriend. She really fell that hard for him more than she did for the other asshole during our middle school.

"How can she fall for those assholes when I was the one who's been there for her since the very first day?"

Should I let go of her already?

Should I let go of all the feelings I have kept to myself for so many years?

I heaved a deep sigh as I covered my eyes with my right hand.

***

Starting today, I will do my best to avoid Winter. I know it would be so hard for me to do, but I'll try to get rid of my feelings for her and find a woman I can be with instead.

"My name's Ashley Martinez." a woman with long curly hair wearing a short dress introduced herself to me in the most seductive way.

"I'm Ian. Nice to meet you, Ashley. By the way, would you like some coffee?"

"Coffee? Oh, I'm sorry, but I don't really drink coffee."

"T-Then what do you want to drink?"

"Whiskey? Let's go to a bar instead." She said as she grabbed my arm, but I immediately brushed it off and moved away from her.

"I-I'm sorry, but I don't really drink. B-Bye!"

I ran away from that woman and called the other woman I will have a blind date with. I actually have ten women to meet, but it turned out that all of them didn't meet my criteria. It was already afternoon, and I was still in that same coffee shop.

"Ah, I didn't know it would be so hard to find a woman I can date."

"Mind if I join you?"

I raised my head and got surprised when I saw Belle. I blinked a few times before nodding my head at her.

"S-Sure."

She then sat down and put her cup of coffee on the table. She leaned on the chair and looked at me. "You don't have any shooting today?"

"I filed for a leave. I have a week to date different women until I find someone—

"Who can make you forget about Winter?"

I averted my gaze from her and took a sip of my coffee. "She already has a boyfriend. I should find someone who can also make me happy."

"But you still find yourself comparing them to her, right? You keep on telling yourself you'll move on from her, but the truth is, she is also the reason you're having a blind date with different women right now."

"Really? Coming from you? Have you moved on from Matthew already?"

"I don't have to move on from him. I think forcing myself to move on will only give me a harder time getting over him. That's why I'm just going with the flow and for sure it'll just come naturally."

"Ah, how I hope it's so easy to do that. How can I even do that when the more I see her smile, the more I fall for her?"
