As she was ready to get off the car, Edwin's voice again interrupted her.

"Miss Rebecca!"

"Huh?" She turned and looked at his handsome face.

"Don't worry about your salary! Your vacation is issued because of your health problem. So, your salary will be paid fully to you as per our company policy." Hearing him, she felt relieved in her heart which he could sense through her breathing in relaxation.

"Thank you! Mr.Edwin for your help!" Rebecca showed a generous smile to him feeling grateful. He helped her many times today.

While Edwin nodded and showed a small smile.

"Now, I think, you should go! It's cold outside and I'll not make you stay longer!" His words were low while his eyes were soft and full of concern for her health.

Rebecca felt touched in her heart and nodded before finally taking a step out of the car.

As the car door closed, she looked at him through the open window and said, "Good night, Mr.Edwin!"

He nodded and responded.

"Good Night to you too!"

He was happy to drop by her house. It's the first time they spend some alone quality time like this.

She stood there until he started driving and finally vanished from there.

Only then did she go to the flat.

Her lips were always smiling to think about their interaction and how much he cared for her every time.

On the other side, Edwin is also happy to be with her and spend quality time.

As soon as she went to the door. She raised her hand to ring the bell but before her finger could reach there, Julia instantly opened the door.

Rebecca's brows arched with surprise as she don't understand how Julia realizes that she was already at the door even without her knocking.

Julia saw her questioning face and grin widely while answering her without even her asking.

"I saw you both from the windows!" Her voice filled with excitement while Rebecca shook her head to see her funny friend.

She can see her shining eyes who want to ask many questions about dinner.

But Rebecca just pushed the door to open it completely and entered through beside her. She ignored Julia's sparkling staers who were just gazing at her with so much curiosity.

She went directly to sit on the couch tiredly while Julia just followed her like a cute pup and sat just next to her.

Rebecca suddenly sighed to see how she was behaving.

"What?" She finally asked, looking in her direction.

"I saw you both talking and smiling in the car and you stayed with him for a long time before you finally came out!" She said, as her smile didn't cover it.

"Yes...Actually, Mr.Edwin is just…"

Before she could finish her words Julia cut her hum and spoke out in mid-way.

"Oh my God!" She covered her mouth with her hands and looked at her with a shocking expression.

Rebecca's forehead creases to see her shock suddenly and shouting.

"Did he propose to you?"

"What?" Rebecca couldn't help but choke to hear her friend's words.

She doesn't understand how she can think too much. Only because Mr.Edwin came to drop her.

She bit her lower lips and shook her head in disappointment to see how dreamy her friend is.

"What are you saying? Do you realize?" She pressed her temple with her fingers while questioning her.

But Julia didn't feel her words at all and said, " Ohh come on babes! Then tell me what you were both talking about for so long and don't try to hide anything from me!" She squeezed her eyes on the last sentence like she was threatening her to not tell lies.

Rebecca sighed helplessly to see how Julia could be silly sometimes. But she's her family and she adores her.

"Julia, there is nothing between us. Mr.Edwin is just talking about my leave for a few days!"

"Leave? But why?" She asked.

"Because my health gets terrible at dinner time! And I…"

She suddenly hesitated.

"And what?" Julia touches her shoulder.

"I...I just threw up on his expensive suit after eating the chicken soup!"

"W...What?" Julia's eyes widened with astonishment while her mouth hung half-open.

She couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Babe...Did I just hear right?"

"You did what…?" She screamed.

"I threw up on him!" Rebecca sighed and could feel her expression as she was also too scared at that moment.

"Oh, Jesus!!" She roams her hands on her hair with shock.

"How did he react?"

"He must be angry!" Julia said while her lips pressed tightly.

Rebecca shook her head and answered.

"No!"

"What? But how?" Her eyes filled with questions.

"He's just not a cold man Julia! Or a terrible and rude boss as everyone thought. He is the opposite!"

"What do you mean?" Julia felt confused.

"I was so scared that he would be fired me! and mad at me! After what I did! But No...He didn't do that Julia!" Rebecca's eyes turned moist.

"Babe…" Julia held her hand with concern.

"Mr.Edwin did just the opposite of my imagination!"

"He handled the situation calmly and told me that it was nothing big. I don't need to apologize for my health!"

Julia listened to her silently. While she continued.

"Not only that, he helped me to not be bullied by others, and also just for me he dropped his meeting and came to drop me on his own!"

After hearing Rebecca's side story. Julia couldn't help anymore but smile happily.

"Now, I'm sure! He truly likes you, Rebecca!"

Rebecca's eyes widened to hear her.

"Julia, why do you always think like that?" Her face turned serious.

"Rebecca, can't you truly see that?" She sighed.

"Julia. Please stop it!" Her voice turned annoyed.

"Babe, the way Mr.Edwin treated you is not a simple boss-employee relationship!"

"Julia…"

"Boss never helps his employees this much. You also knew this well!"

"Not after when his staff did something embarrassing to him!"

Rebecca felt silent.

"Why can't you realize that Mr.Edwin started liking you, that is why he is so gentle and caring for you."

Rebecca's hands clinched the couch sheet tightly between her fingers.

While Julia sighed to see her reaction.

"Babe, I'm sorry but not so sorry ! Because I knew you also started to like him! Just you don't want to accept it!"

Rebecca closed her eyes while her breathing turned heavy.

Did she truly fall for Edwin, her boss? She bit her lower lips with hesitation which she's feeling right at this moment in her heart.
