As soon as Edwin comes out of the men's washroom after throwing his suit on the dustbin and washing up his hand.

Rebecca come towards him and looked at him with nervous eyes.

"Mr….Mr. Edwin, I'm sorry! I don't know how I just…" Her eyes turned red.

He pressed his finger on her lips to stop her from talking anymore.

She looked at his face which was still calm and looked at her with the same tender eyes.

"I know, don't think about it!" His voice was soft and so comforting that she could not help but tears roll down her cheeks.

As he saw that, he instantly held her in his arms without thinking about what she thought. Because all he wants is to make her feel better at this moment.

Suddenly, throwing up on the boss, she felt terrified and thought that I would lose my temper with her and make her fired also.

Rebecca was a little shocked but she couldn't help but hold him and cried a little bit before finally leaving him.

She thought he would not understand her situation and get angry with her. But he always made her realize he is too good.

After she calmed down, he released her.

"Let's go back!" He instructed while she node and realized what she just did. She hugged her boss back without even thinking.

As it is too late, everyone has finished eating and is just waiting for Edwin to come. So that they could move forward with the project conversation.

They already guessed Edwin and Rebecca are together. And as soon as they both showed it, they got no doubt.

Edwin walked one step ahead of Rebecca. To maintain a professional distance. It's not like he can show his feeling but he can't let Rebecca get any wrong ideas for him.

"Mr.Edwin, finally you are here!" One of them said with a laugh.

Edwin looked at him with a straight face and then others.

"Thank you for coming for the dinner conference, but I have an urgent matter to do first. So, this is all for today!" Edwin declared with cold eyes.

His words made everyone shocked, even Rebecca who looked at his broad back with stunning eyes.

"But..Mr.Edwin! There are still too many things to rectify!" As soon as the man said those words, Edwin's brows raised and looked at him.

"I think you didn't hear it. That's all for today! His voice was sharp to make everyone shudder in their place.

No one gets the courage to ask anymore or stop him again.

Edwin saw everyone turn silent, so he said it last time.

"Sam will inform you all about our next meeting!" As soon as he completed his last sentence everyone turned relived.

"Alright, Mr.Hutson! As you say!" Another one said with a wide smile.

Edwin nodded to hear him and then turned to look at Rebecca's wandering eyes which were filled with different emotions.

"Miss Rebecca, let's go!" He said it and she nodded in hurry.

Rebecca felt he is truly smart and genius to turn the whole table even without flicking his finger. His words made the front one bow in front of him.

After leaving the restaurant, Edwin asked the driver to come in the main gate.

Rebecca wanted to ask why he suddenly stopped the conference but at last, thought to just zip her mouth. He is the boss and she is only just an employee. No matter how much he treated her well. She needs to remember her boundaries and why she's working.

Even though she's trying to make herself remember this, her mind still remembers their hug which happened just half an hour ago.

Only thinking about that she felt her cheeks start heating up. Even though she wanted to not feel anything. Her heart, her action always gets different in front of him.

Sometimes she thought it was all because of her harmony during pregnancy. But is this true? She doesn't know.

As she was in deep thought, Edwin's driver came with his car.

Rebecca waited for Edwin to go back to the car but he turned and looked at her.

"Let's go!" He declared.

Rebecca felt hesitant to hear him.

"Mr.Edwin, I can go by myself taking a cab!"

"You...You don't need to be stressed! " Rebecca showed a polite smile.

Edwin raised his brows and turned his back completely towards her.

How can he let her go alone when her body is so weak and she threw up all the meal. He can't do that.

"Miss Rebecca, your health is not well. it's not good for you to go alone in this situation!" His stares turned completely serious. He doesn't want to take risks with her health in any way.

He read a pregnancy book and their symptoms in which throwing up is number one. So, he knew why she threw up so much. She should have felt something was wrong with the restaurant food. That's why she turned pale.

Even though he especially asked Sam to tell the chef to prepare everything as it's suitable for pregnant women.

Rebecca tries to deny it.

"But…I.."

He cut her hum.

"Miss Rebecca, you come with me. So, it's my responsibility to send you home safely."

"In the dark, I don't feel good to send a woman alone!"

His voice turned strict as he could feel Rebecca wanted to argue with him for going by cab alone which he was never going to accept.

Not at all, after the washroom incident.

Rebecca sighed in her heart helpless as she could not win against him in talk.

"Alright, I will go with you, Mr. Edwin!"

As soon as she said those words, Edwin's straight face finally showed some emotion while his straight lips finally curled up to see her agree with him.

"Good!" He nodded while turning to the driver's side.

The driver saw them finally ready to go, so he came out and opened the back door for them, and stood straight.

But Edwin closed the door and looked at the driver.

"You can go home by cab! Today I'll drive!" As soon as he declared, the driver just nodded and left.
