"Rebecca, don't be scared. Everything is fine now!" He tried to console her while she was still in his arms, shaking hard.

Rebecca tried to breathe calmly while her eyes looked at him and tried to nod. She doesn't realize but his words already made her breath calm. She's not shaking like before.

Edwin could feel her body getting relaxed while he finally sighed in relief.

The cleaning woman staff was already in terror to see the incident from far away.

She didn't expect that because of her one mistake the big incident could have happened!

The marble floor could be dangerous if someone hit his/her head directly on fall. But only because the big boss comes and helps the woman. She's alright but still, she wanted to apologize to Rebecca and Edwin.

She slowly walked towards them and nervously tried to talk.

"M...Mam..!"

Hearing her voice, Edwin and Rebecca looked at her.

Edwin's eyes already looking at her with a frown while Rebecca tried to hear her patently.

The woman looked at them with a guilty face and crossed hands together while her body trembled with anxiety and nervousness.

"Mam, Sir!"

"I apologize! What just happened!"

"But I swear! It was just a mistake! I don't know how I don't see the water bucket and it falls but I'm truly sorry!" She tried to hold her cries. Because she could see Edwin's dark stares on her. She felt her job is at risk.

Hearing her words, Edwin's face darken completely while his forehead was deeper.

"Falls?"

"What do you mean by a mistake?" Edwin's voice turned icier while he shouted with anger and frustration.

Rebecca also looked at him with enlarged eyes while the staff woman got scared to hear his shouting and backward a few steps.

"Do you know, anything could happen to her! If I don't come at the right time!" His face turned serious while his jaw clenched angrily.

Rebecca saw him for the first time like this. From their first interaction to now, he never gets angry with her even if she makes mistakes. He always just tells her it's alright.

He only saw his dangerous self when he protected her from the bullies and today when she fell by mistake.

"I...I'm sorry, Sir!" The woman tried to apologize again while her tears come down.

But Edwin's face still didn't lose his anger. He wanted to fire her and he was already ready to do that.

"You…!" He wanted to speak but Rebecca held his arm and cut his words in the middle.

"Mr.Edwin, I'm alright! Please let this lady go! It was a mistake!" Rebecca's voice makes him ignore the cleaning woman and look at her.

She's looking calm and composed.

Rebecca felt sorry for the lady because it was all just a mistake but still she needs to hear too much scolding from Edwin because of her shocking reaction.

But she was also scared at that time because of her baby.

Edwin looked at her face for a moment and then glanced at the cleaning lady.

"You can go! Before I change my mind!" His words look like warnings.

The lady nervously nodded and bowed respectively in front of Rebecca before leaving.

"Thank you, mam!"

Rebecca showed her small smile and nodded.

Edwin saw their interaction and felt Rebecca is too generous.

"Let's go to the cabin!" Edwin's husky voice made her look at him again while she nodded lightly.

He still held her in his arms while she didn't stop him from doing that.

Edwin went towards Rebecca's cabin and opened the door with his left hand while his right hand was still resting on her shoulder to give her support.

Rebecca silently looked at him and their positions but waited patiently to enter the cabin.

As he opened the door, he went directly towards the couch with Rebecca. His steps were always slow and careful. His one hand is always holding her like he's worried about her falling. Or she's a small child who can get injured again if he releases her hand.

Rebecca blinked her eyes with astonishment to see her boss's efforts on her.

Because it was just a simple fall in the eyes of others who didn't know about her pregnancy. But the way Edwin treated her made her speechless at this moment. He is too conscious looking right now.

His action made her heart warm. She felt touched at this moment.

Her eyes couldn't help but feel his tenderness towards her while her lips slightly curled up from the corners. Even without her realizing.

As they came closer to the couch, He gently directed her to sit on the couch and Rebecca did that. But as soon as their body contact was lost, she felt her body temperature get low. There is no more warmth around her.

This is something new to her but soon she thought it was because of body heat and that's it. They were in the same position for a long time that's why it felt like that.

After making her seat comfortably, Edwin turned his head around the cabin until his eyes moved on the desk.

His vision stopped at the desk where he saw a water jar and a glass.

He went towards the desk and hold the water jar to fill the empty glass with water and bring it to Rebecca.

Rebecca looked at his simple action deeply and felt. He is a great person.

While she was lost in thought. Edwin turned in her direction while carrying the glass of water in his hand.

"Drink it! You will feel better!" Edwin's voice was soft and tender while Rebecca looked at him and then to the glass before holding it.

"Thank you!" She thanked him and drank whole water in one gulp.

Edwin saw it and felt calm.

After finishing the water, she wanted to put it on the small desk in front of her but Edwin forward his hand in front of her.

Rebecca looked at his hand and then at him before finally giving him the empty glass which he instantly took and then put on the desk for her.

"Thank you!" She thanked him while he nodded.

She's now no longer in shock. Seeing that, he felt relieved.
